If you want Jpop that is Kpop like, you can always try Kpop artists that had Japanese comebacks.. There are plenty of those. If you try Big Bang for example, they have a couple good songs.. What I like most about Big Bang's Japanese comeback's is they have a lot more English in them.. A couple songs I like off the top of my head are : Tell me good bye, Beautiful Hangover, Gara Gara Go... Emotion, Follow me... many more to be found. Another good Kpop group that released Japanese songs is TVXQ or DBSK (whatever we are calling them) They have some songs that I absolutely love... (I'm talking about when they were a group of 5, I don't know much about what the duo did in Japan since the split.) They are credited for pretty much paving the way for Korean pop artist's releasing music in Japan. Some of my Favorite songs are: Why did I fall in love with you?, Borelo, Breakout (sorry about their hair in the video, but hay you said Japanese style) Stand by U, Purple line.... They were out for many years before they broke up, so there are many good songs to be found. If we are talking DBSK let me also refer you to Kim Junsu.. My ultimate bias.. He has a song called Intoxication... hoshit O.O your welcome. I could go on, about the whole kpop doing Japanse music, but I'll stop here. Also Kat-tun has a song called "Water Dance" that I like.
don't know a lot of j-pop groups some solo singers Ayumi Hamasaki May J japanese voice actors for anime
Exile maybe? And their many subgroups such as J Soul Brothers, the Second, etc. Generations is a similar group but I'm not sure if they're affiliated with Exile. There's plenty of Kpop groups that release music in Japanese as well.
why don't you just stay with kpop then instead of finding kpop in a complete different genre that is jpop, I personally enjoy jpop because it is completely different from kpop and less americanized than kpop but yeah if you really want jpop like kpop then kpop bands with their japanese releases are the way to go
Ah you might like BULLET TRAIN (CHOUTOKKYUU) [超特急]
It's a group consisting of 7 members, 2 singers and 5 dancers. Some of their songs are a bit uhm.. too japanese for your taste probably. But some are bops.
