DramaCrazy and AnimeCrazy are shutting down?

it doesn;t make sense does it, why upload dramas/ variety shows if you are going to pull the plug

yeah im still hoping its just them being a bunch of pricks and playing a very sad pointless joke, although i cant imagine they would play this kind of joke, i admit when i first saw the message i looked at the date to see if it was april fools day because it was just so random for them to shut down so quickly

I just saw the notification! I was like ... "WHAT!!!! o_0!!!! Did I saw correctly or is it a joke?" To make sure, I have read it 3 times! So sad that DC is shutting down... :( What will the Europeans watchers will do now: MySoju, and now DC (which had a decent quality video, was free and had great subbing) ... ;__;

And on top of it all...why did they have to do that when summer has just begun??? I think a lot of us where waiting for all this free time to watch dramas... :'(

I heard that they may be switching over to DramaCrazy.com.

After a great run, we have decided to shut down DramaCrazy and move on. The anime streaming landscape is ever so changing and it was a fun ride while it lasted. Rather then just shut down without a note, we'll leave the site up for a few hours while we allow you guys to gather your contacts and stuff on the forums. Much Love, -The Staff . Perhaps, lack of funding to keep website running, lack of interest and time from the site owners, or many other possibilities.

I am not surprised this past few months I've been disappointed with the lack of dramas/movies available on DramaCrazy, the subbing wasn't the best on the dramas/films that I've watched and the website seemed to be getting out of date w/ layouts, etc.

My mind is in a turmoil and I think others who were active on the forums for a long time will also be in a turmoil. After that I wouldn't mind writing an article together with someone.

Someone told me it was because people were stealing. I'm not sure if that's true or not. Anyone else know any other reasons or if this is the case?

They clearly stated in their forums that it's not a financial problem.
