Maybe you're right. It's possible, but if it's true then world would be full of annoying female characters :D
Definitely TaeMu from rooftop prince
i see mostly females so I won't list any. For the men there ARE plenty. -The second lead in 'Arang' and 'When a Man Loves', just gets on my nerves, no matter what he's doing -I really didn't like Lawyer Cha from 'I Can Hear Your Voice', too naive and nosy -I know so many ship the "Hanazai Rui" of each adaptation of HYD but I thought he was a selfish and childish person -The second lead in 'Down With Love' was another guy who just pissed me off, always a step late or not owning up to his feelings I could go on, but I'll leave off the rest.
Ding Jia Yu of Just You and Oh Hani of Playful Kiss! I don't know If I'm the only one who notices but *****y ex girlfriends or other woman characters in taiwanese dramas are extra annoying. >.<

To be honest, although this could be true potentially, I pretty much doubt it. Most of the dramas that I can think of which have the most annoying female leads in are written by female writers rather than males.

Yoon Ji-ryun, wrote Boys Before Flowers which has Jan Di. Go Eun-nim wrote Playful Kiss which has Ha Ni. Kim Eun-sook wrote A Gentleman's Dignity which has Me Ahri. Hong sisters have a lot of popularity for the 'annoying female syndrome' as well, to be honest.

Not saying that males don't write annoying female characters, there will be (I just can't think of one right now) some but to be honest, I think it's more females who write females as annoying than males. Which I can sorta understand...I, even as a female, can find females pretty annoying to the extent of how dramas portray them sometimes.

(...I'm insulting my own gender. ^^; Sorry all females out there!)

Anyway, for my list I have to agree with the Jan Di, Ha Ni and Me Ahri, but to add to it I really found Ding Jai Yu from Just You annoying. Atop of that, I really could not stand Lee Yul from Goong, who everyone seemed to love, but for some reason, I just couldn't stand him. I don't even know why I couldn't stand him, he was a typical second lead character so he shouldn't have bothered me as much as he did.
Go Mi Nam from You're Beautiful is the worst character I have had the misfortune of watching in a drama. Her part could have been played by a cardboard cut-out and it would have had the same depth. I also found the second female in Spring Waltz incredibly obnoxious and her motives made very little sense to me.
Eun Ha from Monstar: wtf was going on with her like seriously stop acting like a 12 year old brat and shut the hell up no one cares about you Rain's character in Full House: can't even remember the drama in itself but i remember that dude's annoyingness The female lead in Tamra, The Island: no The female lead in Playful Kiss: shut up Park Shin Hye's character in Heartstrings: wot The parents in Smile, You: yall better sit yo asses down and stop scREAMING The male lead's mom in Secret Garden: *****slap material right there
Lee young jae - full house Ding jia Yu- just you The mom, and two cousins- when love walked in. Joo in ah- myung wol the spy The leads mom- secret garden The mothers of no eun sol and cha moon won- protect the boss The leads step sister and step mom- shining inheritance Yoo he Yi- you're beautiful
The female lead in Me Too, Flower. I hate it when female leads mope around for the entire drama. I don't know how many times the guy tried to win her over. She always found some reason to be upset.
