I'm sure that I'm not the only who is having this problem, but there are times where you plan to start a drama but in the comments section on most websites (not talking about MDL btw), you will always find a bunch of idiots leaving comments such as 'the main guy dies in the end'. I mean what is the point in ruining it for others who haven't completed it yet? Haven't they heard of something called 'spoiler alert'? I experience this problem all the time when I'm on gooddrama.net and when reading such comments, it then becomes pointless to even start that drama. Even worse if it's around 50+ episodes because you already know that the main hero will die lol! Anyone else out there having this problem?

They did ruin Gu family book for me, not planning to watch it anymore.
The same happened to me with City Hunter... just by knowing what is going to happen i dont want to watch it any more. :(
I think it tends to happen quite frequently on MDL too though, when people are becoming overexcited and just comment right away. The spoiler tag is such a cool and helpful feature, please uuuuse iiiit <3 I usually avoid the comment sections or forum threads or the like before watching a drama or before having caught up with all episodes if it's airing. I accidently spoiled myself with 49 days though, after having watched the first episode I talked to the friend who recommened it to me and I basically guessed the "twist" and her reaction was too obvious, sigh :| Put it on hold, but I'll still watch it. And in the end, I'm not watching dramas for the ending - if the drama is really good, I don't care about being spoiled anyway.
Me? All the time.. read the synopsis....NOT the comments.
Really sorry to hear that. Let's pour boiling hot water over them :D
Sorry guys! I consider myself a spoiler but not intentionally, when I recommend stuff to my friends or they ask me about a certain drama...sometimes I just don't know what to say cause I don't know what would actually spoil it and I end up revealing too much accidentally and my reactions are too obvious that they end up guessing the right ending. So sad. But I don't think I spoil it by getting overexcited or not click the spoiler button...I usually tend to check before posting aha!

Damn! That just sucks! That reminds me of the time when everybody started talking about the ending of IRIS and I was not happy about it, but I ended up watching it anyway lol!
It happened to me with Bad Guy and East Of Eden
From one of the comments in Gooddrama , they ruined the end for me , and now i can't watch these two dramas
although i badly want to watch it :(
spoilers dont really bother me. there are many components that make a show worth watching and if simply knowing how it ends is enough to make me not want to watch, then there we other problems that made it not worth watching. the ending of shark got spoiled for me. once i found out how it ended , i didnt finish it. not because i already knew the ending, but b/c the plot was the only thing keeping me watching so i wasnt upset. the female lead's character was so incredibly terrible that SHE was what ruined that drama for me, not the spoiler.
Drama endings that were spoiled for me (Mostly because of tumblr)
Bridal Mask
A Love to Kill
Bad Guy
Iljimae
Winter Sonata
King2Hearts
Gu Family Book
To be fair, if a drama already finished airing and people are talking about it in the comments, there will be spoilers. Luckily on this site there is an option to hide spoilers. So the best thing to do really is avoid comments until you finish watching or just deal with it.
i don't know how you stream drama i would go crazy watching like 240p, anyway yeh its annoying when people spoil endings for others they just have to let the world know like my brother ill be yelling at him dont tell me i dont want to know and he will still do it blurting out major spoilers if im watching a show hes seen, little asshole
It's something that careless people don't realize. I just don't read comments at all until I've finished if I don't want it to be spoiled.
Yeah, in one jdrama, the synopsis recall the 2 last ep, that's crazy ...
