The Heart Killers EP1

I couldn't wait any longer-- I've already been waiting for this show for 50 years. NO SPOILERS BELOW. (Just thoughts. I put it under the spoiler tag just in case!)

I HATE it. In the BEST way possible. Our four main characters are the most annoying people I have ever met and yet I LOVE them. It's really hard to have an ensemble cast where all the characters are so imposing and attention grabbing. The MAIN CHARACTER energy is insane all around. 

I watched it on my tablet while working and I had to stop myself from laughing the whole show. These four are ridiculous. 

Like Jojo has been saying from that start, this is definitely a RomCom. I'm sure we'll have our heartbreak moments, but all good RomComs have those scenes that hurt. 

I have a feeling that this show might be polarizing (I hope that's not the case.). It's a lot. It's flamboyant and loud-- but it's also unique and entertaining. I'm SOLD.

Style is definitely my favourite character so far, I absolutely love his energy and craziness lol his character is so different from Dunk’s usual characters and I love that

Joong being so cold toward everyone actually scared me, his angry face really brings goosebumps lol

FirstKhao have really levelled up their game, I can’t believe we’ve gone from AkkAyan to SandRay to THIS lmao

Overall, I think Wednesdays r now my new favourite day of the week

Just finished ep 1. My thoughts:

1. Style, with how tall he is, wearing a crop top with that lean bod - it's something else. Then, with all the dance moves while at the garage. It was reminiscent of Footloose and Risky Business, not sure why, and not sure anyone will get those references. I'm dating myself.
2. Once Fadel gets conquered, there will be a lot of rejoicing. He is a tough cookie.
3. Bison, acting all coy and flattered as Fadel was scolding him (after Kant left), was just too cute. OMG
4. Kant is the ultimate flirt, and his magic working on Bison.
5. I'm sold on this show!!!

I actually didn't focus on any one character because I didn't want to write too much, but I could write a paragraph just on Style lmao I love him--

Yes, there's a lot of 80's & 90's movie inspo in this. The music, the cinematography, the dancing lol

I think I need to polish up on my 80's movies-- but I've definitely heard the OST for Footloose.

TBH, I'm overwhelmed at how much there is to keep up with. To a point I almost don't want to watch anything! Help!! Does anyone else ever feel that way? Or is it just me?

I don't feel like I don't want to watch them, but it's overwhelming in a great way. Like just throw the entire box of kittens on top of me! lol

I'm right with you both. I'm at the point that I have had to start triaging and prioritizing series. Even still, my currently watching section is getting insane – for me(I have seen some of your guy's currently watching sections and I want to feint LOL). I usually just have 2-3 active airing series at most there with like one or two other older series that came out in the 1-3 years previous. I would tend to watch those older ones between episodes of the current airing ones. Well, that shit isn't happening anymore! LOL

I'd rather have this problem than the other though, although I know that was a time you guys have cherished. The "early days" of anything are often the best days and the most memorable.

Side Note: I'm watching TOO MANY Thai BLs! I have been routinely replacing yelling *shit/damn* with *shiaa* more and more often when a relevant thing happens and I would have normally exclaimed the former. They have been especially saying it a lot in Fourever You lol.
