Opinions of GMMTV 2025 BL's :
OF 2 - I'm very excited about this one lo. Having Mix as one of the main leads already made it an automatic watch for me. I'm also excited to see a messy ohm-leng! Apparently, P'Jojo said that Mix's character will be similar to Boston, which is just rising my anticipation.
Ticket to Heaven - It is definitely bold and unique, but I don't know if my heart can take this specific kind of angst. I like angst. I loved UWMA, but that one was bearable, but I feel like this one would leave me depressed lol. Can see the bucket of tears coming. Definitely think this would be the BL of the year, if done right.
Memoir of Rati - Don't know how I feel about this on tbh, It's like waiting for a ride that doesn't look that thrilling, but maybe it might surprise me.
Wu (is this bl? looks like bromance, but kinda getting bl vibes. feel like it might be another midnight museum, where I'd categorize it into bl regardless lmao)- I'm pretty into this one! Other than the very nice visuals (sorry, i'm a little shallow lol), I'm loving the character vibes and the mysteriousness I'm getting. Sure to watch this one. Hope it's a full BL though
Me and Thee - Why does this look so funny!? This is not how I anticipated it would go lmao. I thought it would be like Never Let Me Go (roles reversed), but pond's character is so goofy! Soap-Opera loving mafia! I love it!
A Dog and A Plane - Looks cute. Feels cute. New looks so sassy here, which I quite like. Some of the lines are quite bold lol. Would watch it!
My Magic Prophecy - Feeling neutral on this rn. Not the freshest story, but I'll wait until the official trailer to decide.
Boys in Love - Looks interesting. Liking all the fresh faces. It's hilarious how they call Kit an empty vessel. Idk why, but I'm kinda getting Taiwanese BL vibes from this for some reason..
Cats for Cash - I'm just happy to see something where First is not traumatized lol. Also, the cats are so stinkin' cute!!! First is an automatic watch for me, so I'm excited to see how this goes.
Mu-Te-love - Glad to see only boo couple again! Love the sassy queer group. Wait, it's Neo is the white wig!!?? Holy Shit!!! WOW!!! Everyone's hot, but Neo... My jaw is on the ground lol. Ohm-Leng look fun! I love the particular style for Leng in this pilot. He looks really good.
Love You Teacher- Okay, this couple surprised me! They look better together that I though, ngl! I'm just so so happy that it's not a student-teacher trope. I might give this a try though. Looks funny and I wanna how this couple is on-screen.
Melody of Secrets - OMFG! This looks really good, I don't really care for most of ForceBook's series. I never really liked any of their main couple shows, but this drama might just change it! It's creepy, intriguing, and suspenseful (A combo I love!)
My Romance Scammer - I don't care for the plot, but Ohm and Fluke (new one) look sooo good together!! Also, Ohm's styling is really good this time. Might watch it for them.
That Summer - Happy winnySatang got their main lead series! Feels like a chill drama that I can watch anytime.
Burnout Syndrome - Gun with black lipstick is soooo hot!! WTF! Other than that, I'm excited to see Gun acting with another male actor. Makes it fresher. I'm also sensing some messiness, which is always welcome. Gives a break from their past two dramas, which I didn't really care for tbh.
Head 2 Head - I can't be the only one who found this name funny, right? Maybe I'm just too dirty minded lol. Other than that, Sea and Keen are a pairing that I really enjoy. They're so fun together. It's giving a mix of BB and I saw you in my dream.
Dare You To Death - Enemies to Lovers, Crime, Mystery, Investigation, AND Bl?? Sign me tf up! I'm loving how many crime bl's we're getting
I love this year's BL lineups!! So many unique and new genres for GMM BL's
