Why Did I Watch This...?

playful kiss was the first incarnation of this story that i tried to watch. i kept watching because i was SURE that so many women and girls could NOT like it so much if at some point the main characters did not redeem themselves. i was wrong. i have tried to watch other incarnations, thinking that maybe those were handled differently but no, no matter what language it's in it all boils down to a pathetic stalker who is surrounded by people who dont care about her enough to tell her that she deserves better than an emotionally abusive douche monkey who NEVER stops being an emotionally abusive douche monkey. sad. just really freaking sad.

Boys Over Flower - I hated it, Jan Di was sooooo annoying! Yet I watched it for the eye candy hehehe! Time Slip Dr Jin - the first 5 or 6 episodes were quite interesting but then the plot comepletely fell apart, the flaws in time travelling sucked!! Yi San - I love long sageuks but god it was soooo boring! The romance was good but other than that I was dull. Playful Kiss - the acting was awful. It didnt have the essense of Itakura no Kiss and maybe cause I watched It Started With A Kiss first so it was even more disappointing and poor

Big 7th Grade Civil Servant Faith (started out well, endded up as a big disapointment)

Color of Woman. I want those hours of my life that I wasted watching that crap pile of a drama back! Luckily, I watched this fairly early in my obsession and it taught me that even someone as adorable as Shim Ji Ho does not make up for awful (read: nonexistent!) plot lines. My most recent disappointment would be Level 7 Civil Servant. Awful does not even kind of describe how they destroyed such potential.

i am not trying to offend anyone or hurt anyone's feelings, but why is it that when people talk about how bad playful kiss is 9 out of 10 only mention the annoying oh ha ni? dont get me wrong she makes me so very sad for woman kind but she is hardly the only, or even the biggest, problem with that show. Baek Sung Jo is just as bad, worse actually because he is such a a-hole. even after he supposedly admits his feeling for her he's still down right mean to. and then you have the supporting cast who make excuses for his horrible treatment of oh ha ni and never stop to tell her that her behavior borders on insanity or that she shouldnt be treated the way she is. yes, playful kiss is bad, but the reason it's bad isnt because an annoying girl stalks a really hot boy, it's bad because it glorifies an emotionally abusive realtionship and other unhealthy behaviors.

Dream High 2 ... It was just dragging on and on and on and nothing interesting happened I would also say Flower Boy Ramyun Shop but I haven't finished it yet, there are still 3 or 4 episodes missing, but I really don't want to watch them because it's so boring and I don't like the leading actors (however, I 'll probably finish it sometime because I don't like dropping dramas)
