Hi!
I'm reading the edited MTL, I'm very grateful for it, I couldn't wait for a better translation, I loved the first part and wanted to know how the story would go on. Although I really appreciate the MTL and the work done in editing it, being English not my first language, I sometimes find myself lost, especially when the subjects are not clear ("he", "she", "it" get mixed up a lot) and have to reread some parts and make up for it so the reading flow gets a bit bumpy... but my point is, considering these obstacles, I find it more amazing that, often, I do find myself moved by certain passages, and imagining how certain scene would look so good on a cinematic transposition, and I'm not talking about the spicy scenes, but something like the scene where little Mo Ran has to face, helplessly, the burning of the cloack Chu Wanning gave him and that has been a precious and life-saving solace to him or the passages when consort Chu Wanning go back in time and meets Shi Mei and Xue Meng ... Some atmospheres and details that describe the character's emotions are done so well I can't stop imaging how beautifully they could be in a live action and how much more immersing and rewarding must be to read the book in the original language!
Does anyone have a favorite scene that made you think "Ahh that would be beautiful to see in a live adaptation!"?
