Hahaha no cry. I think the parts i cried in this show were the fish demon story, liluns initial dying from poison and when the bad guy gave BaiJiu candy. Hahaha i dunno why these weird parts touched me more than the main storyline. I suspect the main characters had so many sad moments, the ending just wasn't that impactful for me anymore. Also, ZYZs end was sorta written from the beginning when he made ZYC swear to kill him. I felt sad in the last episodes but not to the point of tears.
The later episodes were REALLY good when the story moved. The visuals remained amazing from start to finish and i appreciate they kept that consistency!! But i still ff a lot. I ff almost the entire final fight for Pei da ren and Baijius death. These 2 just didnt interest me.
TJR and HMHs acting were impressive and TJR could really cry! Lilun actor was quite good too. Hahaha im quite a Bitchang fan but i thought she was pretty bad in this one. There were many scenes where she could have shown intense emotion but did not! Plus her character wasnt written favourably and WX was just sitting on the ground so often while everyone was battling. Couldn't she blow her flute or something to hold back the bad guys?! Ahhh! Why did the scriptwriters do this to her!
Fof was a surprising bl drama because the FL stayed so low key. Hahaha..
ZYZ and LL stole the character visuals, ZYC stole the show!
And yes, satisfied with the ending.

You are not the only one who cried when Zhen Mei offered Bai Jiu candy one last time. I also cried. I felt that Zhen Mei is not a bad guy but just trapped by that filial piety to his adoptive father. Loyalty expected of him until the very end. (╥﹏╥)
Li Lun's actual end was very touching. He got his redemption. I cried that ZYZ's BFF died helping him and was gone forever. (˃̣̣̥ᯅ˂̣̣̥)
I cried when ZYZ died. Sighs, I expected it but still very sad. Like that part he walked away from WX after he tied her up. She kept calling him and he quickly walked out of sight and slapped himself. FUIYOH, ChunTian's tears fell like Niagara Falls. .·°՞(≧□≦)՞°·.. ·°՞(≧□≦)՞°·.
So much crying!! I was telling the guys in the FOF page that if I had collected all my tears from the last few episodes which I binge watched, it would have been enough to water a couple of small potted plants. ⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘⚘ HAHAHAHA And not to mention now I need vitamins for my tired out liver. (⊙_◎)
Random thought: Did not like ZYC's boring beige outfit at the end. It does not flatter him at all. Maybe a darker shade?
Overall a beautiful drama with lots of tears as expected of EG. I will give his drama due credit and still recommend it. He is very talented with his cinematography, beautiful visuals and story telling. Only wish he had a great character / personality to match his talent. He is hurting his dramas and actors as some people will rate his drama/movie badly because they dislike him for bullying, favourtism, plagiarism etc.

First version with Riley and LiLun; Second version with Ryan; Third version with AiMi; Fourth version with the good and bad Bithchang and LiLun; Fifth version with BingYi and YingLong; Sixth version with the regulars including LiLun and his assistant /lover Ao something. Twice was just everyone together no dance. I am not sure if I miss any…. Oh they should had included didi’s brother since they included PSJ’s brother.

in dramaland can the Title of Empress be bestowed to the late wife of a widower, after he becomes Emperor?
I mean, if his wife is dead before he takes the throne, there is no Empress, only an Emperor.
Because technically a title needs to be bestowed via an imperial decree.
And that Imperial decree would have to be received by the Empress in this case.
