I've seen Tricot - the mathy pop rock band - at a very small show when they visited the UK last year. They were great. So cool. Live they definitely sounded more rocky than they do on youtube and seemed to use more distortion on the guitars. Maybe it's also because you feel the bass, which makes it a little heavier. When I listen to their albums or songs at home it's more on the relaxing side, but live it makes you wanna dance and move. The singer, Ikkyu (she's also in Genie High), did all the talking for them - her English was surprisingly good, although she struggled to say ferris wheel and merry-go-round, which was funny (there were a couple rides a few streets away).
