"Baker King Kim Tak Goo's" Yoon Shi Yoon 윤시윤 in Talks for Upcoming Chinese Drama
Actor Yoon Shi Yoon is about to join the cast of a Chinese drama. He has been chosen for the male lead for "Happy Noodle," and is in the final talks with the production staff.
The 24-episode drama, "Happy Noodle," is about a noodle shop cook's dream of becoming a famous chef. A source from this drama states, "'Baker King Kim Tak Goo' has not officially aired in China yet but a few sources from the 'Happy Noodles' production team has watched the drama online and showed interest in Yoon Shi Yoon. They thought that Yoon Shi Yoon would be a perfect match for a character who develops and learns about love through cooking."
Actress Lee Da Hae has also been cast for the female lead for the Chinese drama, "Love Actually." The two upcoming Chinese dramas about food and cooking, both stars Korean actors, which is garnering much attention.
If the casting is finally set, Yoon Shi Yoon is scheduled to start filming for the drama starting in May. "Happy Noodle," is scheduled to air around the end of the year. Before "Happy Noodle" airs, "Baker King Kim Tak Goo" is also scheduled to air in November to introduce Yoon Shi Yoon as the newest Hallyu star.
Yoon Shi Yoon is currently studying Chinese as he is promoting, "Me Too, Flower," in Japan. He is also preparing for his Japanese fan meeting in May as well.
