Oh, my goose...! The acting of the blonde girl...Wow... I have no words.

lol I was under the impression that they were European...she had a different accent. Did you get to see Ep. 2? So funny!

I didn't say she was American...lol Since, she did have a different accent. But I was not referring to her English. It was the acting. It was horrible...lol

I haven't even finished ep. 1 yet...I don't like this going back and forth between the Joseon era and modern times.

@Violet: ALi, does have a great voice. I don't know if I'll finish this drama, but I do know I like the OST. You can't lose with Baek Ji Young ( The OST Ballad Queen) and ALi.

OMO! The bad acting. Wae?! There have to be better struggling actors crawling all over NYC for even a shot at their faces in the background. I know it's a Kdrama and not an American show but still... Must have been about the bennies!

But at least they didn't show all Americans as racist and mean like that other show. LOL

I actually liked the Joseon era scenes and plot much better then the modern times scenes and plot. Much Much Better.

I agree. There HAVE be tons of struggling actors in NY, who could have done a better job...

I like the Joseon era better too....Maybe they should have stuck to saeguk. I still haven't finished the first episode...lol
LOOOL! Just finished the second ep. AND ITS SOOO FUNNY! :D I usually dont like dramas, where are too many awkward and emrassing moments (and the premiss about historical gyus who end up in modern days could lead to lots of embrassing moments). BUT this drama is totally cute! O_o All guys are just so lovely and cutish. I want them at my home too ^_^ All four guys as a group are just amazing. And the girl is just so great! I love all the characters. Watch it, its really fun (esp second ep XD)
So, I found interesting that the crown princess dies in the Joseon era and he dies (he did, right? Blow to the head, going overboard, drowning while being abandoned by his "cousin") in the modern times.

So, I have one question for those who have watched EP. 02, does the going back and forth stop now that the "Joseon power rangers" are in modern times?

I really like her voice too!

lol yeah her acting was "Eh?! Unnie I just told you I am going home to Korea! Hello?!" I just noticed she was somewhat struggling with her English (or was it just me) and it added to the awkwardness.

Jeaniessi, maybe you could attest: I was wondering if the fruit-stand scene and the yacht scene were really scenes in NY?

What other show?

The Joseon plot was really a mystery. Lots of questions left before the jump and the main question was motivation. Did you see that creepy turtle rock's head move in Ep 1? I thought it was creepy. -_-#

Oh I think I am the only one who liked the scene jumps from Joseon to modern-day Korea...maybe there were the scene flashes were too many that it got confusing. But overall I still like how it's fast-paced...

OMO Finally! Hahahaha I love Park Ha! She really owns it! I like her 'don't mess with me' attitude! Laughed from start til end!

Lis, >I don't think his modern counterpart dies because in one of the teasers, he actually opens his eyes while he's in water--creepy...but let's see...< and *edit post* yes, the whole episode was how the Joseon 4 got a tour of modern-day Korea, Park Ha style. ^_^ [I think I need coffee now...]

I'm not sure. I have to go watch again but I will say Fashion King's NYC scenes looked real except for the CGI of the girl in Times Square at night.

And I thought the modern day plot was weaker than the Joseon era stuff but...that could very well be remedied with following episodes.
I don't know about confusing, since I could easily follow both storylines. But for some reason I preferred the Joseon era, I liked what was happening there more since it kept me far more entertained and I felt the modern era was leaning very much toward makjang and in not in a good way. Jeanie: Yeah, that's it. I felt it was weaker.
I don't think modern day prince is dead. If Joseon era prince can fly through an eclipse and land in modern times maybe modern prince can sink into the sea and come out in Joseon times? That would be a cool drama. Two storylines and then converge!

Maybe... I hope not...lol I kind of want less time jumping...lol

Momma...the prince jumped through the moon and the chaebol time-travels underwater! now that's new!
so far it is kinda silly but I am going to watch it..I also think the modern day guy is alive because of the cell phone scenes, if not for that I would have thought he was dead...lol drama clues :)
