Wed-Thurs Drama “The Equator Man” to be Extended?

With its recent success in taking the lead in the Wed/Thurs ratings race, KBS “The Equator Man,” starring Uhm Tae Woong and Lee Bo Young, is considering a possible extension. According to a source from the KBS drama department, “While I can’t reveal the details, there have been talks of an extension. It seems that they are looking at the option favorably. This week’s episodes are extremely vital in holding the lead.”

The source continued, “The eleventh episode is the turning point of the story. Kim Sun Woo (Uhm Tae Woong) begins plotting his revenge against Jin No Shik (Kim Young Chul). The series will not only engage viewers with the intriguing revenge plot, but also soften up the mood with a melo love story [with Han Ji Won (Lee Bo Young)].”

As predicted, “The Equator Man” took advantage of the absence of MBC “The King 2hearts,” starring Lee Seung Gi and Ha Ji Won, and SBS “Rooftop Prince,” starring Park Yoo Chun and Han Ji Min, during the 19th General Elections on the second week of April, recording personal highs and taking the lead in ratings. Meanwhile, it’s latest episode recorded 13% (AGB Nielsen).

“The Equator Man” is a story about friendship, betrayal, rivalry, and revenge. It stars “Doctor Champ’s” Uhm Tae Woong, “ATHENA: Goddess of War’s” Lee Bo Young, “City Hunter’s” Lee Joon Hyuk, “The Princess’s Man’s” Kim Young Chul, and more.

ughhhh i HATE this Choi Soo Mi girl...frustrated old wench!!!!!!

This is soooooo boring...I am dropping it in the middle of episode 10 I just can't take anymore long looks...now she got her salary cut and her mother needs surgery....can we be more cliche...I expected something more exciting because I really enjoyed the first 4 episodes...but the last 6...no ...I can't take anymore..I'm done

It is reeeeeally reeeeeeeeeeeeally slow like i told you...everything moves at a snail pace lol...its frustrating sometimes lool..i won't drop it though... i have already invested so much time lol...it had makings of a great drama but alas lol

I can't believe people think this drama is slow. It's not slow - its DETAILED. The story is so intricate that if you miss the small details you miss the story.

I LOVE this show. It's my favorite one right now.

For the record, I don't know why I noticed this... but .... I love the way our male lead sits. It's like he is oozing sex appeal.
