You're not alone in that.

I'm really enjoying this, but my favorite relationship is not the main one, but that of the Queen and King. I SO love the Queen--her biting comments and sarcasm make me laugh, and yet, they have a manner of truth in them. I'm pretty sure that the guy she learned Goryeo language for was Choi Young though, and honestly, I think the Queen and Choi Young have a ton of chemistry.

Despite having an old face, I totally buy that he's an immature 21 year old king floundering in his insanely shaky life role. And the queen with the 'tude is just...I just love her. So much.

Nodsnodsnods!

In total agreement there. I think she is an awesome character.

Na du....

-----------------

I've watched 2 episodes and I'm still not into it. When Lee Min Ho is on screen, nothing else matters, but then they ruin the moment with the fake looking effects. And that right there is the reason why I've dropped most Chinese fantasy dramas...

I also like the queen.

I don't want it Hollywood like, but they could have done better than the Chinese style. That also includes the animated flashbacks. It reminds me of The Vigilantes (which reminds me I need to finish it...lol) There were less effects in Ep. 4, so I was able to enjoy it a bit more. I do like the music.

Yes, the queen is definitely awesome. I like the actress, I hated her character in Love Rain, she was Miho, right? And ogling LMH in his black armor is a plus...lol
Ep 4 - the animation sequence does this count as me having now watched anime ...?? :D

I wasn't either...lol But I don't mind him.
"Hey you. F**k. Go to hell." LOL! Even I have to admit that scene was hilarious.

I watched a Chinese drama with equally bad effects...lol

Faith is very slowly growing on me. I still wouldn't give it a 9 or 10, but there's still hope for an 8. I think the reason why I'm not gushing over it is because it doesn't give me that sageuk feeling I like.

Yeah, that's ep. 5. LOL! *Now they are saying that when she spoke in English, she recited the spell that will bring a death.*
