I saw the first 2 episodes and it seemed like so much happened in those first 2 episodes it still hasn't all sunk in. I thought they might spend longer building up the back story/their childhood/his jail time etc but they seemed to skip right through all of that... I like that its different & not following the tried & tested pattern of other dramas where they spend a good chunk of the episodes on setting the scene if you like. The main three characters are playing their roles well.....someone in this thread mentioned about SJK's expressive eyes and I whole-heartedly agree. I hadn't seen him in a serious role before & he is doing a wonderful job I am happy to see. Now I need to pace myself so I am not anxiously waiting for the next episodes to air :D

Only two episodes/week... They really enjoy playing with our nerves :D

I think that Jae Hee still has feelings for Ma Roo but she completely lost herself on her one-way trip to "chaebol" life. She reached a point of no-return, which is why Ma Roo is determined to bring her down... but he still has feelings for her as well and that kills me. I really hope he's not going to do something stupid for her (again). I'm counting on Eun Gi to kick some reality sense into him. To me, the only way for this drama to end well is for the two avengers to realize their common objective will only lead to self-destruction before it's too late... and that can only happen if they fall in love with each other for real.

By the way, am I the only one flailing over SJK at the bar scene, carving ice for the lawyer? Oozing coolness all over the place like a boss.

This made me giggle cause it's so true. But also I can kinda see her POV. she's an insecure woman who has nothing for herself. So the only way she can make sure her and her son live a decent life is to use her womanly charms to her advange. Now that I have said that, I want to clarify that I hate her with a passion >.< She's a disgrace to women.
Moving on, I do hope that there will be a happy ending but being that it IS a melodrama that might be highly unlikely. Though so far it's pegged my interest and I'm eager for the next episodes to come out so I know what happens.
