Ok so I just finished watching episode 12, finally. *warning spoilers ahead*

I actually liked episode 12 for quite a few reasons, even though you can completely sense the change in tone in the drama. Yes, it is different, but I don't think it's all that bad.

1. Ah Jung and Ki Joon are so cute together, feeding each other and getting into the car at the beginning of the episode.

2. Both Ah Jung and Ki Joon are finally standing up for themselves. Ah Jung, though a little sad, is not swayed by Yoon Joo desperate attempt at a pity victory. And Ki Joon not giving into his Aunt's wishes to go along with Yoon Joo's sad attempts, and stands firmly on his promise to Ah Jung to not look at anyone else but her. I respect that.

3. First off, Ki Joon shaving (for the 2nd time) in his office. That was cute and funny. Then the showdown with Ah Jung's father. And their bickering the next morning on who won. It's a classic cliche scenario, but they still handled it well. I rewatched that scene cause it was gold.

4. Sang Hee's attempt to get over his feeling rather than go and whine to his brother like he did the first time. And the fact that he tried to convince Yoon Joo to let go. For a second there I had this feeling that Sang Hee might conspire with Yoon Joo, as so many failed dramas end up doing. So glad they did not go that route. I respect Sang Hee for that.....but....but...I don't understand why he ALWAYS falls for the girl his brother is with. As BaT so dearly pegged him, Silky Chocolate Voice there are many more girls out there who would gladly jump you. Open your eyes some more. I do want to console his character when I see him crying though, but I wish he wasn't so....so....Idk what word to use. *sigh* I hope you get what I mean.

5. Lastly, the hilarious scene between So Ran and Jae Bum at the beginning. I was laughing all the way through. Starting from his clumsy fall while dramatically running, then the pushed into the pool, then the playing dead in the pool, to the can't get out even though the stairs are right there so I'll pull my wife in. It was all so precious. But I'm glad that couple got back together, I kinda like them together. Although I was hoping So Ran would have changed a bit after hearing Ah Jung's confession. But then if she had changed drastically I would have wished they had stayed true to her character and not made the character change so unrealistically.

Phew, what a long post. This has been stirring inside of me since it took me longer than I wanted to see this episode. Cheers!
Ok two scenes I loved and just had to share! :D

I ended episode 12 yesterday and i was a little disappointed: it's the first time that i feel like that watching this drama.
I felt that the writers are desperate to rich the level of the previous episodes, with so many romantic and comedy scenes, but it was really a fail: something is clearly missing and the chemistry between the main actors became artificial.
For sang hee, i hope that he fall for the singing girl in the coffee shop (i still don't understand her role in the drama)

She reminds me of Phoebe from the American show Friends.

At least, Phoebe has her part in the show, but with this girl in lie to me, i'm sick to death watching her just sitting in her chair and singing (it's not like she has a magnificient voice)
I agree. She just throws in her two cents and they all shrug it off and then the show continues.
Am I the only one who hated Yoon Joo from the beginning? I felt so bad for it but I was suffering from AHS (Antagonist Hating Syndeome). No matter how pretty she was (actually plain looking) and how sweet she seemed (actually crazy), nothing and I mean NOTHING good comes from the second girl appearing. I tried feeling sorry for her but I knew that it was a waste of time because eventually she would go batshit nuts and cause a lot of problems. Some things never change in the drama world lol.

At first I thought she was funny but they've used her poorly and now it's too late. Now whenever I see her I just think, why is she even here? It would have been cool if they would have made her Ah Jung's smart, sassy confidant that worked at the cafe'. Oh well.

Yes. This. Because, really, Ah Jung has no friends her age. And I mean real friends, not whatever So Ran and her gaggle are.

I hated her too: i was like get over him girl, he's not the only man on earth.
Trying so hard to get him back after he withdrawed you years ago is so pitiful.

Even though we see this behavior time and time again in dramas this cannot be a real life reflection of how girls behave in Korea! Has to be exclusive to the drama world. What self respecting woman would hear straight from a man's mouth..."I don't love you. I love another. I can't even see you anymore" and still keep after him? And for a brief moment I feel sorry for the girl. Rejection sucks! Been there! But inevitably they always keep it up, heading straight to crazytown...and might as well have "slap me hard" written across their foreheads.

Thanks GOD! Finally someones positive comment... O_o
Thank you! you gave me courage to continue with this drama! I still havent watched eps 10 and more, because of my exams. But now, i have time, but i was so scared after reading all those comments. Actually something very similiar happened to me with Marry Stayed Out... (all those changes, bad ratings and so...) but still, i loved that drama (dont understand why pple hate it so much). Mary was really cute story, even if it changed writers.
So, after your comment and this positive thinking, im gonna continue with Lie to me cause it is great drama, with great actors (who can pull out everything) and funny scenes :)
I've watched episode 13...It took me almost two hours to finish it because I was so bored and uninterested that I kept pausing and looking at other videos. When it finally got interesting, for me, was at the very end of the episode. I might wait to watch episode 14 along with episodes 15 & 16 next week...

I was about to click "play" on the 13th episode when I dropped by here before to see if anyone commented on it before... I already wasn't really excited to watch it but now I think I'll just turn to the US show "Falling Skies" for tonight. XD
I wasn't excited at all about it because of last week's episodes, but I went with an open mind... Maybe it's just me, but I honestly didn't enjoy it, My usual hatred for Yoon Joo did surface though....lol
