1. Scarlet Heart Ryeo
2. Faith
3. Rooftop Prince

Those 3 are a must must MUST watch for me.
Queen Seon Duk is my favorite historical drama right now.. Sorry Chuno.. :( A ver ygood story line and also because of Bidam...
Of those, I have seen (and completed):

  - Gu Family Book
- Jewel in the Palace
- Legend of Chusen
- Queen In Hyun's Man
  - Sungkyunkwan Scandal
- Queen Seon Duk
  - Warrior Baek Dong Soo
- The Moon that Embraces the Sun
- Arang and the Magistrate
  - Chuno
- King's Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang
- The Flower in Prison

(I question Queen In Hyun's man being on the list.  It's an excellent drama, but most of it takes place in the present.  My undertanding is that the same is true of Rooftop Prince)

My top 5 from those would be:  Jewel in the Palace, Queen Seon Deok, Arang and the Magistrate, King's Daughter Soo Baek Hyang, The Flower in Prison.

Six flying dragons - the plot was engaging and cast was great especially YAI's acting is spectacular.
Empress Ki , a close second, - loved it for the story which focused on the female lead . Ha Ji Won was awesome here and her chemistry with JCW was electrifying
*lol* I have only watched six of the dramas listed, but I really have to question the fact that The Journey of Flower is on this list. It's a sort of fantasy drama, not historical! I'm pretty sure there was never a time in history where some people who had to guard magical "deity devices" were (trying to become) immortal and were divided into "sects" that (sort of) watched over normal humans. I get that the line can get blurry sometimes (like Megan says, if most of the drama takes place in modern times, should it count?) but it should be drawn somewhere... The ability to almost fly and have super human strength (wuxia) is perhaps acceptable....

Well, sorry, didn't mean to be negative! My favourite ones are Nirvana in Fire, Gunshi Kanbei (but it's not top rated!), Battle of Changsha, Six Flying Dragons and The Disguiser. :)
My favorite is actually Scholar Who Walks The Night! But I also love Queen In Hyun's Man, Moon That Embraces the Sun, and Scarlet Heart
Well, before I saw the list you posted I though I definitely knew which my favorite was but now I'm suddenly not so sure.. Sungkyunkwan Scandal I have definitely re-watched the most amount of times, The Moon that Embraces the Sun I woke up early in the morning to watch before school started and have re-watched at least one time, and The Flower in Prison was my drug in 2016... Right now my heart is screaming The Flower in Prison though so I guess I'll go with that.
