Moon Geun Young has always impressed me with her great acting skills from My Little Bride, A Tale of Two Sisters, Innocent Steps and Love Me Not.. But I have not finished even one of her dramas. I didn't like the character she was given in Mary Stayed Out All Night, however, I still like her so I bet Cheongdamdong Alice will be a good one.. I hope she reunites with Kim Rae Won in a drama...

SN: What is PSH wearing in the poster?

The clothes the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland wears!
I just love when PSH talks to himself he's hilarious ^^

i see the similarities :P
Somebody tries use story of Alice again, sigh. Btw. If you take AiW like reference then that famous Whithe Rabbit is this time female....remember, Alice saw strange rabbit and followed. Here main character saw what kind usual creature in unusual light? It is her former classmate, Seo Yoon Joo. Its littlbit confusing bc Yoon Joo instructs poor Alice, er, poor Se Kyung find a White Rabbit who can bring her to Wonder...er, to world of rich people.....( party) Actualy if you look - she itself is that Rabbit already and leads Se Kyung now... i really dont know does authors meant it to be this way or they just slipped....what isnt unusual to occur in d-land. First 4 episodes .... rise in me question: does makers of this drama know what they want do? ....or they still just push in every idea what comes around? Bc this drama now is like losely sewn patchwork quilt. I hope they calm down soon, sadly harm what is done is done already.
i think you're taking this waaaaaaay too seriously and thinking too much. it's supposed to be fun, not a direct parralelle to AIW. i personally dont find the story any more "all over the place" than most k-drama rom coms. twisty plots are a staple of the genre.
Entertaiment is serious thing :P :P I know it isnt adaption of AIW, they just use it to justifie some plot line but... i think i wrote what i think about it. i hope you agree that things what supouse to be fun could be done well too, not sloppily...bc it makes all fun fade... Story isnt "all over the place" ...it is way how they do it what is weird... they want to make it have very serious issues and then add rivers of sobs and tears - it makes it melodrama, then they make main male lead act "fugitive from madhouse style" what suits slapstick comedy, then they jump back to melodrama, then few ordinary drama cliche situations, then make lead actor fall in love from snap of fingers and make actor jump from one genre to other and back like frog... I wouldnt complain if all this was made flow naturally but it feels like not fitting pieces put together....one, two times i can endure but if this continues it gets annoying and painful to watch. I hope they can settle what they want make : meldodrama, romcom or slapstick bc seems that they dont have ability mix correctly them in one. So...there isnt anything wrong with story/plot or with twists....it is about compleatly other things. p.s. i hope you know how dramas are filmed, that scenes arent taken always in order what we see and get joined afterwards to right place? To make story flow naturally it needs at least one person who has ability keep storys inner logic up, so that it doesnt feel like....
i dont personally think it's sloppy and i have no problem following the flow. there are some dramas that are written to make you think, there are some dramas that have intense underlying social themes, there are some that are written to say something about society. there are some that are written to hold up under intense cinematic scurtiny. this is not one of those dramas. this drama was written so you'd enjoy the ride. not everyone likes the teacups.
I like how the drama developed up to now. Park Shi Ho "out of the mad house style" is really funny and its too early for him to be a normal Park Shi Ho. Why do all dramas have to be straight and flawless?
I never watch any drama with Park Shi Hoo before, but I'm totally a fan of him after this. His acting is just too awesome. And Moon Geun Young is <3. Looking forward to next week =D
Okay, it is official: I love this show.
** I died of laughter when Seung Jo had to stop Driver Kim, the Doctor and Secretary Moon from revealing his identity to Se Kyung! And that Kagemusha idea was genius. **
Seung Jo is the sole reason for this new found love... and I'm completely fine with that.
If you aren't watching this, you don't know what you are missing...this is just as funny as secret garden or the greatest love!
I've fallen for this drama since ep 3
I Love it...and extremely excited for it...I hope it stays good <3
it's a drama that has it all...I'm enjoying that...I don't see it as a flow ^^
Oh, I just noticed this thread. -I was afraid that I'd only like this drama for MGY, because I'm a big fan of her, but after just the first half of episode 1 I knew I would love this drama. Even though I love MGY, PSH is my favorite here. The character is so interesting but mostly his acting is what makes it so entertaining. Plus, I think the character Se Kyung is going to end up really hurting Seung Jo. -I think I'll have to go stalk the actor who played Se Kyung's boyfriend. -Is anyone else starting to not like the sister-in-law character? She seems to be the upcoming opposition to our Se Kyung/Seung Jo relationship and I'm fearing the heartaches that this drama is undoubtedly going to bring.
