This drama was awesome!! I wasn't so sure about how they could end it without making the end far-fetched. But they did a really good job! I liked it from beginning til the very end :)
I absolutely love this drama! It's so well written and acted. I normally don't watch time travel k-dramas because they have all been the same in the past, and to be honest I thought Nine was going to be the same simply because the trailers I saw were so evasive. But I watched them as they aired and I have never gotten so excited for an episode. LOL, I'm so glad I speak Korean, because I would go insane having to wait for subs xD. Now I have 2 episodes left and I can't wait for the ending. Definitely earned it's spot as my number 1 for 2013.
Spoilers!

What I love about the ending thateveryone can think whatever they want about it.

Since Sun Woo who was shown in the last ep is the little Sun Woo who grew yp found out that the old hil died in the past, he goes to Nepal to get the sticks and save the old him because he promised himself that they will see each other in 20 years and since he eticks with his promises, he goes to save him. Plus he also bought that signature watch and a tickets to Nepal.

Then the closure scene with Sun Woo saving his brother, I liked the fact that the drama ended with the scene that it began with.

**** Well even if it is the older Sun woo at the end saving his brother, that incense stick cannot be used, because it had already been used. Remember what happened when Choi Jin-Cheol tried to use one of the sticks? What I want to believe is that the original Park Sun-Woo didn't die and lived on to save his brother in the mountains. He stays alone, but the alternate Park Sun Woo gets to have the girl :)***

I like these two explanations even though they're opposite.

Anyway, this drama was amazing. Considering the fact that only JDramas get high ratings from me, it's great to see another Kdrama getting a 9 from me. One of the fewest ones (^_^)
This drama was very good, I liked the smart writing. It's rare to watch a Korean drama that stands out from other shallow stupid same plot romance.
i just finished watching this drama and i already feel empty and sad it was amazing one of the best
This drama was brilliant! One of the best. I like the fact that the ending will leave you thinking about could've happened but I agree that he went to save the future him from the past.
How in the hell do we only have 4 pages for this perfect drama?! Well maybe that's why. It's perfection. Still leaving my voice here, hoping I can convince someone who hasn't started this yet or left it too early. You're doing the mistake of your life. NNTTT is probably the best drama I've watched in decades and if you check out my list, these words mean something from me. Thriller, suspense, romantic, fantasy, action, you got it all in 20 episodes (if you're willing to forgive the two fillers that are ep. 14-15). Stellar acting both from the goodies and the baddies. Lee Jin Wook was fab until the end and delivered a genuine performance combined with superb kissing scenes (raawr). Don't get me started with that smart-ass writing and its numerous clever twists. I feel just as mind blown as I was after watching "Inception". I need more brain candy like this in my life. NNTTT has raised the bar reeeeeally high it's going to be hard to watch anything after this. Very very HOT recommendation!
I found something that I wanted to share it:

“I won’t ever be interested in you even if you beg for it.
I won’t be calling you.
I don’t ever want to see you outside of work.
I’m already scared that you will like me.
You’re not my type at all. Your face, body, or personality. None of it.
I won’t ever be touching you.
So you don’t have to worry about me, and only worry about working.
Just don’t say that you quit because of me. Okay?”

OMG! The look on his face at the end: priceless!!
Woah, this bring back memories >_<
oh to ep 7 ... reminds me of this movie called butterfly effect :o
just finished this, loved it and loved the last ep as it was really cute but abit lost on the ending ._.
So many different views on how it ended. I'd like to be as positive as most of you.

i was really confused with the ending but after reading some post i'm in favor of what goldenseal unni found which sound most reasonable
