And... eh.... did Jung Shin take classes to improve his acting? I'm watching ...sometimes... My Daughter Seo Young and he's terrible...lol

LOL, I know what you're talking about! Let's keep our expectations low (even though it's kinda of hard with revenge and UTW) and maybe we will be surprised.

Is it just me, I had a hard time recognizing UTW on this poster !

I had that thought too but neverthless; it's a beautiful poster.
Looks interesting. And I just can't stop loving this historical Korean clothing: beautiful.
I heard the drama had a wrong start.

I prefer that it starts slow then pick up rather than start strong then go downhill.

Agree. Also historical dramas tend to have wrong start the majority of time.
Watched ep 1 and the visuals are turning me off right now. It's a beautiful looking drama, but all the extras are defeating what could be great. Like for instance, Tae Woong and Ok Bin's meeting took about five minutes of my time with rock music and flowers and glances that bored me. (Hope that's not considered a spoiler!) Anyhow, does anyone else feel the same?

*dives into episode two*

I keep hearing only negative comments about this one.
I'm loving it. I like the cinematography, the use of modern music, and the silences. I don't like historical dramas (mostly because I could care less about politics), but this one has me hooked from the beginning. I know I'm in the minority, but I am use to that. :-)
Im still waiting for this to be halfway done and will start watching. I cant find it in d-addicts where else can I download this?
This is definitely a different kind of an historical drama. I find the silences refreshing. Usually the dialog in these types of dramas are too stilted anyway. That initial meeting between the two leads was just bizarre. The OST is all over the place. Some really beautiful music and some totally outlandish music. I think after the king is killed the drama will pick up steam. At least it is fairly short for a historical drama. If it was a long one I would just wait until it finished up. The princess is off the chart beautiful. That will keep me watching for sure. The main guy not so much. His father is much cooler.
I've watched til ep 3 and I'm happy they toned down the some of the forced dramatics. I love the cinematography, it's a beautifully shot drama, but all that extra was a bit too much for me. The plot seems okay so far and the acting is amazing. I've learned to block out the music. I don't care for it either, but I will keep watching and see!

Now this makes me want to start it as soon as possible (:
I started this drama and even though there isn't a lot of catching things going on when it comes to the plot. There's surely something special about it. I have to say that I love the cinematography like everyone else and the acting is great. I will be waiting for more things to happen in the plot.
