I saw that it had subs already. I'm going to watch it tomorrow (or more accurately later today).

What else did you think Revy?

Well first off the male lead is definitely different from all the rest of chaebols we've seen in dramas.
I don't want to spoil it for you so i will leave it at that.
Oh, really? I'll check it out tomorrow. :)
Aawww this drama just gave me the best most satisfying female slap scene ever. Also seeing KSA in a red bikini was so refreshing since female leads tend to not wear them. oooh and how i love her Japanese
I'm liking this drama so far cause of three of the main leads. Lee Dong Wook, Kim Sun Ah, and the doctor. All three are doing an amazing job at playing interesting characters with lots of layers.

And this drama does really well at adding little scenes throughout that are so funny/amusing/cute/touching that they feel like eating a piece of fudge. For example, when Yeon Jae's (KSA) mom comes back home after their argument she coldly asks her daughter how she could still eat before slamming the door to her room. Or at the club when Ji Wook (LDW) was called out by the other female lead and the singer/host boy walks in and Ji Wook just bites on the ice cube. It fit his character perfectly. Also when Yeon Jae visited her father's grave and at first got angry and yelled at him vowing never to come back. Then comes back a little while later with Soju and apologizes for being harsh, cause she's just scared and has no one to lean on. I found that scene especially touching and quite funny. And the directing of the scene when Ji Wook leaves the club and is in his car, that was beautifully done imo.

It was these little scenes, rather than the overall plot, that made me enjoy the first couple of episodes of the show. I hope they keep up this pace and style.
I just watched the first 2 episodes earlier today and I gotta say I'm really liking this show so far, and I can't wait to see the next episode. I love how she wants to enjoy the rest of her time, and it's cute how everytime Ji Wook shows up she tries to hide even though there's no way he'd recognize her after she stops wearing her glasses and lets her hair down. Episode 1 wasn't even that boring (IMO), like a lot of starting off episodes are. It has it's serious moments, but it's funny, too (:

I was about to post my initial thoughts about this drama but I don't really need to now. I agree with everything you said. I think I'm going to like this one a lot. Even though I fully admit to being partial to Kim Sun Ah, I still love the whole set up and can't wait to see where the story takes us now that it's burst out of the gate. I have a feeling, it it keeps going in this insightful smart direction it might also break my heart in the end. Knowing that, I'm still going to watch it anyway. So good to see Lee Dong Wook. My Girl was probably the 3rd drama I ever watched and as soon as it was done ...there began my habit of finding other projects he had been in to watch him act more...and see his face.
I read on dramabeans that Eom Ji Keom (sp? - the doctor) might be cut from the drama because of his recent DUI car accident. What a shame that would be and a real blow to the plot line. Either removing his character, replacing the actor, or both. I hope the issue gets resolved and filming continues as planned.

Here's hoping!
Just checked - his name is Eom Ki Joon. Whoops, sorry. I'll remember from now on.
Watched the first 2 episodes and liked them. Great Kim Sun Ah as usual and yummy Lee Dong (again, as usual). I could already feel the chemistry, when they didn't even have 5 minutes on screen together - a very good sign, in my book.

But my fingers are prikling: when she has the dream at the very beginning and finds the " Cast Away" ball, she calls it William, when in the movie the Ball's name is Wilson. I will never forget Wilson if I live 100 years.
Did she call him William because in a cast away scenario of her own, she'd like to have a prince next to her? ;)

Maybe Both! I laughed when she called him that because all I could hear was Tom Hank's voice saying..."Wilson!!! Wilson I'm Sorry!" Very funny!
I just watched the first 2 eps on Viki. Most 1st eps are shall I say boring and don't offer much. But the 1st ep of SOAW is really entertaining and will make you want to see more! This drama really suprised me. I didn't like KSA in MLSS but grew to like her in City Hall. She seriously blew me away in Scent of a Woman. Not only does she look completely different but her acting is amazing. Her character portrays all these different emotions that made me feel them as they changed. When she was depresssed and cried I felt sad, when her character did something embarrasing I felt embrarassed, when she had funny moments I laughed. As for LDW, I really didnt recognize him. I've only seen him in My Girl and I thought he was HOTT but wow he looks like another person. He is still cute but he is too thin! lol. Anyways I think his acting is a lot better in SOAW. I also like the supporting cast. But really this drama looks like it may be one of the best of the year if the story and characters continue to be as amazing. Excited to see more eps!
I just watched the first 2 episodes and I have to say i really liked it too.. I love the cast, cinematography, and use of music. As usual, great acting from Kim Sun Ah and Lee Dong Wook is as handsome as ever.. I can't wait for more episodes..

After reading this, it's tempting me to watch this drama. Lee Dong Wook as well as a Cast Away parody. Should I wait till it finishes ariing or should i start watching it now?

You know I would usually wait for a drama to finish but seriously this drama is too good. Watch it now!
