Ok I dunno if anyone else has noticed, but every time they do a close up the make up looks to caked-on. It annoys me every time I notice it.

It doesnt shock me, if you look that this drama is targeting Japan TV first. Nearly all japanese dramas has funny hairdos and not so good makeup. Sometimes it is so bad that to see actors facial expressions is painful bc it messes up actors work with role, one reason (of many) why i dont like many jdramas that much, sigh.

i had really thought that it felt more japanese than korean, but that had more to do with pacing and the more slapstick feel. the makeup (and hair) isnt a japanese thing. i have seen MANY highbudget korean shows that look like the actresses are going to need a paint scraper to get that stuff off.

49 days & Arang and the Magistrate come to mind. and in 49 days it was the main character. and then you have the opposite issue (which IS a solely korean problem) where the girls look sweaty the whole show. Lie to me and a bad case of sweaty face.
is anyone watching this? My bff and a coworker are trying to drag me into watching it and i'm just not too sure i want to.
i'm watching it and really enjoying it. what you have to do to get into this is completely ignore the title. that is the worst injustice that could have ever been done to this drama, well aside from the awful hair in the 1st half. this show doesnt even have the spirit of Full House. the one connection seems very forced. it's not a drama to take seriously or expect emotional performances from (although No Min Woo does tug at the heart strings) but it's a lot of fun.

i agree with you about hair issue. Main lead looks better when he was acting in my girlfriend is a gumiho...
i love No Min Woo's hairstyles either it's mop hair, instant noodle hair, wet hair, or slick hair styles. I have no complaints.
