And yes, Yong ha pretty much knows but just never really says anything about his suspicions. He just teases Dae Mul about it here and there. He leaves her guessing on whether or not he really knows and he also keeps the audience guessing a bit too. but know we've spoiled you...I say he pretty much always knew.

This is one drama I don't mind being spoiled about since who knows if I'll ever finish it....and I think ep. 3 just finished...lol

Edit: Yes, it did. But it didn't end with Song Joong Ki (so I'm not bothering on going back to see what happens....lol)
The F4 are:
- the supposed guy
- the playboy
- the studious one
- the mysterious roof-runner

Or so I thought. I always supposed the girl was part of the quartet since everybody thinks she's a guy. I can't imagine the scheming student representative to be one.
Thanks, :D And I finished episode 4 in less than 40 minutes...There wasn't much Song Joong Ki in this one. I don't feel the two main leads have chemistry. I think "Dae Mul" and Mystery guy and Yong Ha have more than the main actor and her.

Haha So you decided to "bite the bullet" and finish it? :p

Actually, this last episode with almost no Song Joong Ki made the decision for me and I just dropped it...lol
I know how you feel...I'm biting the bullet and watching ep. 9 of Proposal Daisakusen to see if I want to keep watching.

Drop it like it's hot if another minute is unbearable... lol

I will. I've taken a breather from it so that helped a lot. I really do like Yamapi in this role it was just the going back and back and back that frustrated me. I think because I marathoned it rather than watching week to week like a normal viewer. I will most likely finish since I only have 3 episodes left.

Sungkyunkwan?! Yes! It is. I gave it a 9 out of 10. I remember watching while it was airing and just loving it. My review was very good too. It is super cute, I liked the friendships, the writing and the mystery. Esp. when the F-4 come together to solve it. Fun. And I like their teacher too. I can't remember his name. but he was cool.

lol I loved Proposal Daisakusen, but I guess it's not for everyone :p
amrita828 wrote: So I'm a little confused now. Did you complete the drama? And if so, I infer you didn't like it. Sure, Goo Yong Ha IS the best thing, absolutely delectable with his mannerism and his fantastic wardrobe. However, I thought the drama was very well done, never boring, entertaining and although it failed on the realism department, I loved it. I usually don't like historical dramas because I can't stand long political intrigues and the like, so I was very happy to find out the intrigue here is more of a literary kind.

amrita828 wrote: LOL, Lis, I must say you're very brave - or perhaps you're just masochistic - if you keep on trying something you clearly don't like. If it were me, I'd have dropped it at episode 1. If you are hoping for a lot of SJK's screen time, I'm afraid you will be more and more disappointed since - ALAS!!! - he has got less than he deserves.

As for my post, I was actually referring to RF. She forgot about this thread and then came back to say the only good thing about is SJK. Which implies she either dropped the drama or completed it without liking it - which would make her an even bigger masochist than you. ;);)

I started SS when i was on my travels cos of the hype I had heard good things about it...I found it bit slow but after reassurances from kamz & I think C4U i stuck with it till about ep 10 when I was tempted to drop it, the only reason I didn’t is that SS was available on YouTube & whilst I was in Asia I had dodgy wifi connections & also a lot of sites that I could access in UK I couldn’t access over there even Dramacrazy, & even the sites i could access the buffering speed was slow that i lost all patience so as SS was on YT with a relatively quick buffering speed I had little choice but to watch it I left it at ep 18 when I got back to UK & I recently decided to finish it cos it was only 2 more hours out of my life lol.

The above explains why I watched it haha generally Im not a masochist & drop a drama quicksmart if I dont like it.

OK my views on the drama itself the main couples chemistry I didn’t find convincing also the so called second lead Yoo Ah In I hardly saw him languishing away for his lost love he was too busy running around on rooftops with his red letters lol….

The story wasn’t compelling enough to hold my interest over 20 episodes perhaps if it had been condensed into 16 episodes it might have been more punchy. Don’t get me wrong I am a fan of sageuks & loved Iljimae, Chuno & The Princess Man – SS just wasn’t in the same vein & I found it disappointing overall I still gave it a 7 out of 10 though 

The best thing about the whole drama was the lovely Song Joong Ki his mannerisms & way of speaking I found totally captivating. I also found his love for YAI endearing he truly cared for him! I found THAT story more fascinating than the main couple & I like Yoochun as well, maybe hes got the same problem as Kim Hyun Joong who doesn’t come across well as an actor either although to be fair to Yoochun I have only seen him act in SS & KHJ I have seen him “act” in a couple of dramas & I remain unimpressed.

I know plenty of people loved this drama & it was pleasant enough just not exciting or angsty enough for my tastes…as I say each to their own.
It's been days since I finished this and I'm still thinking about it. I really want to know where Goo Yong Ha's room mates are. Does he not have any? Why not? He's too dang sexy for anyone to live under the same roof?
i've seen about 3 episodes of SS. i like it but i just cant seem to get into it. i'll watch one ep, wait a week or two, watch the next. i gave up on operation proposal a while back. i just couldnt take it any more. any one ever seen the princess bride? the dude keeps saying "INCONCIEVABLE!" every time he's thwarted and finally one of his minions says to him "i dont think that word means what you think it means." that's how i feel about at least 50% of korean "romantic comedies" i do not think those words mean what the PDs think they mean. you arent supposed to spend most of a romantic comedy feeling miserable for the characters.
I LOVE The Princess Bride ... My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die. & As you wish !!!!
