These ARE beautiful.  I love how they make a panorama.

But that third with XL teaching XY archery has prompted some questions, like why is it XL instead of FFB teaching her archery?

Yes I had raised eyebrows too when I saw that illustration. My take is that it was artistic license on the part of the illustrator to depict Xiang Liu instead of Fangfeng Bei, possibly to avoid confusion with the other men in her life. To be honest, I preferred if it depicted Fangfeng Bei especially since that was the alter ego that taught her archery. If it were Xiang Liu, I would have rather it showed the 37 years under the ocean. or their underwater date after the lover's bug was transferred to her.
