Tragic.  He wanted to be in love with his wife but he never married for love.  That's why he was willing to be poisoned and killed by XY, the woman he loved.  

I cannot wait for ZWY's scenes in Season 2.  

I also cant wait for the S2 where ZWY really takes his acting out of the shell tbh. His eyes tho, I couldve drown in it. 

when i read the books, I didnt take him seriously because Jing and Xiangliu(partially) had taken away all of his importance for me to 'wow' over him. He didnt have that factor for me to care bout him tbh .

But seeing this series , he made me flied my wings with him to the point I am on his side lol 'get your cousin, Xuan'. ZWY is really good here.

Xuan will probably be the most hated ML in this drama but yet we feel so much for him. ?  Kudos to ZWY. ?? I'm loving his portrayal of Cang Xuan so much.  He really brought Xuan to life and with such depth.  Xuan will continue to squeeze our hearts tightly. I expect that I'll have so much heartaches over him. ? I just want to tell him not to be greedy. Just be content that you have Yaoyao by your side and that's better than losing her forever.

I want to watch the suicide scene!

Do you guys think they are going to keep Xuan's question to XY in the show? I kind of feel like they are going to take it out....But idk...I really hope they don't take it out. That was one of my favorite scenes and from the clips/spoilers in the trailers, it looks like his confession to her and her finding out his betrayal is going to be different. I'm not necessarily complaining though because ik that TH knows what she's doing obviously. Just wondering I guess.

TSJ has the money and power to do his biddings when it comes XY.

XL does what he wants to protect/ save XY.  He answers to no one.  Two flaws are his blind loyalty to his adopted father and he has no money and has to work part-time as a hired assassin in order to earn some extra cash to fund his adopted father's fantasy.

CX doesn't have the luxury of what TSJ and XL have.  He has to fight every corner in order to get to where he is in order to hold himself accountable to the command he received from Xiao Yao's mother.  His birth right  doesn't allow him to have a peaceful life unless he dies.  If he is not an emperor, no one can protect XY and she'll forever be unable to use her real face.

Saying CX doesn't deserve XY is an understatement.

That hug between XY and Xuan in ep 36 was so sweet. Plus in ep 37 Xuan looked so happy that she didn't congratulate him ??

Please someone spoil me coz I saw a clip about Cang Xuan and Xiao Yao in S2 and it’s too sad! I wanna know what’s the ending for CX and XY, and who she really ends up with. I mean I really don’t want her to hate CX in the end.
