I recommend the Spanish netflix show Cable Girls (Las Chicas del Cable).

Little Women (2017) is from BBC it has 3 episodes its great~ (Although I still prefer the movie version of 1995). If you're not going for BBC then I'd recommend Kurt seyit & Sura (netflix) or Anne with an E (2017-netflix). If you'd like movies instead of series... and you dont want recent , but old goodies, Ill also suggest: The inheritance (1997), Zoya (1995), but they are not BBC.

The BBC is way too "woke" for my liking nowadays and its news is bona fide propaganda and flat-out lies.

For this reason, you'll find many who are turning away from the BBC (you can find big topics on the subject on British TV forums) and there's even talk of people petitioning to do away with the TV licenses, from which the BBC gets its funding (or, the majority of, at least).

This is all a huge pity because, growing up, BBC productions were the benchmark.

Anne with an E is a remake of, Anne of Green Gables (based on the 1908 Canadian novel).

To be honest, it's recommended if you're into periodicals that are safe for the whole family (but the opening scene of the first episode is a bit of a deal-breaker if you're not willing to allow yourself to succumb to the manner of speaking that the series establishes from the get-go (which, should be the whole point of periodicals!).

are two of the best mini-series that I've ever seen.

On a side note, I still can't believe that Kevin McKidd wasted his extraordinary talent by going to the god-awful, Grey's Anatomy. The fact that IMDb shows he's been a cast member for 12 years (WTF?!) says one of two things: money talks and casting agents don't know s**t!

Most likely though, it's a case of both.
