(that don't drag and aren't too long)
How long is "too long" in your opinion and what do you look for in a romance? Are you open to university settings? Same sex couples?
Lakorns are evening melodramas, generally 15-25 episodes. The plots can be far-fetched but often the emotions are very true. (Like Curse of Saree, which isn't horror or about a curse. It's more a fairy tale set in an alternate reality "India." For all the far-fetched elements, it's fully committed to its own internal logic and emotions and that works really well.)
GMMTV is easy to access since they use youtube for their on-demand. It's youth-orientated (one31 is the mainstream channel). Lots set at universities, some young working adults. Series range from 4 episodes (some in compilations, series of shorter series) to 12 or more, though 12 is most common.
Do either of those have appeal? There's more of course but it will help to know more about the kinds of things you enjoy.
