I started watching SOTUS, after having watched a number of other series with some of the same actors. I couldn't go past the first part of the first episode; the whole concept of a bunch of seniors telling the freshmen what to do in such rude and strict terms seems totally unrealistic, at least to this Westerner. The seniors would have been summarily defenestrated after their third sentence.

Well, it is not very realistic and kind of... abusive, but that's pretty much the whole point of it.

I really enjoyed it, but then I usually enjoy relationships that are NOT on equal grounds, so maybe I'm a bit weird when it comes to that xD It really gets better so I'd advice to stick to it. I really enjoyed how over time the characters got closer to each other (mainly talking about the 2 MCs here)

i finished the whole series by force, lol. 95% of it was hard to swallow.

Well.. To be honest, that was the first bl drama I've ever watch, when it just came out. At that time, yes.. That was the best bl I've ever watch. It's a pioneer for me. But now, ofcourse there are better drama.

I really enjoyed it. I found it to be pretty relaxing to watch and i liked the chemistry between both main characters. I cared about what was happening to them, their woes etc and that does not happen to me all the time. I liked how, as the series progresses, so does their relationship. I loved following them into adulthood.

It took me several attempts to get through the first episode...I really couldn't figure out what was going on and kept dropping it...eventually I went through the first one and it was OK.

(Mostly it's OK because of Singto in my opinion......sorry to the Krist fans....)

i really liked it. sotus S wasn't that great.
but honestly, i dont wanna rewatch sotus

It's not the best bl drama out there but it was enjoyable because of the leads and not really because of the story. There is a sequel and I don't really have any intention to watch it.

Yeah at first, the series can be hard to watch. I wished someone has told me to start watching from episode 8 onwards where the unhealthy relationship between the seniors and juniors ends (specifically, episode 7 last part). From there, the series is more enjoyable.

I like Sotus because Kongpob was willing to take on the world. As a Westerner I didn't understand any of the hazing routine at first, but I accepted it as a part of Thai culture. I've probably watched Sotus three or four times at this point.

I really liked it! Probably one of my favourite series featuring gay relationship(s).

From what I know hazing is part of their culture. I can understand why (the hazing) it seems rude to you. (Oh wait, did you mean Arthit? Because yes, I did find his ˝punishments˝  for Kong unprofessional as hazer, but we all know his reasons behind doing so, right?)

To me I really like that part of their culture, it's a way to get to know your seniours as well as learning to respect them (as well as  your 'classmates'?)! I wish it was like that where I live, we don't even get to know our seniours once we're in uni T.T

OK can I be naive and ask what is SOTUS?

 ShotaSidePart:

This is SOTUS

OMG I didn't even bother to look it up because I thought it was an acronym of the title.  Because it so close to POTUS, I got stuck on Sh**head Of the United States, lol .  Thanks!

i liked it at the time, but i feel like it’s so hyped bc when it came out there weren’t much like it and Singto and Krist are kinda known as the pioneers of bl ya know?  after watching what is out recently it’s hard to stomach compared to the rest. i still like it bc it was my first thai drama and for the solidarity
