Can someone please explain the ending to me. I thought ML swore he would not take another wife or have anybody above the main lead. In the end she was putting a garland around a little girls hair and the little girl called him daddy. I thought those white garlands were reserved for the servants’ children who were fathered by one of the men in the main house. Also did he take the Frenchman’s widow as a wife?? I loved the drama up until that last episode and that left me completely confused. They were all living together and it seems really weird to me. I know the twin boys were their’s, and they had one girl, and also the little girl called her Momma Kade, which is not what I think a biological child would call their parent.
