Timeline Breakdowns and Important Dates to Remember: SPOILERS(Updated to Ep 16)

Thank you for the detailed, just wow! I was only paying attention to few dates in this drama when they show it in calendar, poster or any device but not as aware of date like songs or movie/drama released/aired.

On the 2nd time travel, after 10 days have passed in 2008, Sun Jae already removed his brace. So when Sol moved out in 4th time travel and Sun Jae still wearing it, it should be from shoulder injury after the swimming competition.

My theory is they moved out after the fire incident because this fire incident is the trigger point for Hyun Ju & Im Geum relationship. The fire incident happened while Sun Jae recovering from the shoulder injury. 

EPISODES 13-16 TIMELINE CONTINUED FROM PAGE ONE.

4th Time Travel Timeline:

This timeline is with a NEW watch that also has 3 chances on it. She is not wearing or even really holding the watch when she presses it so it is unclear if the new watch traveled with her or if the 1st watch traveled with her. Either way she is transported back to her original start point of January 1, 2023 after stay in 2008 and/or 2009 for a few more weeks/months. My assumption is that she gets pulled back to May 7th, 2009 and THEN gets pulled back to 2023. Ryu Sun Jae is not transported back in time with her as his soul is no longer in his body. More on this in separate discussion topic. 

Late April/Early May, 2008: ep13-14

• Im Sol arrives in the past for the 4th time in her high school classroom and sees her yellow umbrella
• Im Sol watches from afar as Ryu Sun Jae drops off the package to her house in the rain, hiding from his view

Summer of 2008: Inferred info from episode 13 conversations

• Im Sol  beats up and lectures a group of teenagers she catching smoking. She meets Tae Sung again the same way she did in the first altered timeline...as her older self

July of 2008: Ep 14

• Im Sol moves away from 34-1 (video store apartment)
• Sun Jae has his arm in a brace as he sees Sol's moving van leaving. thank you to everyone who helped to confirm this date, my very sleepy self salutes you

(This is most likely the time period in which Im Sol goes back to 2023. She either A. Went back to 2009 and then back to 2023 or B. Went straight back to 2023. She does NOT relive 13+ years of her life over again. During the time she spends in 2008 she befriends Tae Sung. She does not ask him for help with the fire at her apartment and he does not use her to avoid the other girl that likes him. And because he never witnesses her around Sun Jae while they're teenagers their relationship stays platonic on his part as his jealousy/interest is never triggered. We do not know anything more about Tae Sung i.e. if and when he went to college, when he became a cop, etc.) 

Prior to August 11, 2008:

• Kim Tae Sung's father, Detective Kim, arrests Kim Young Soo for attempted murder. Kim Young Soo serves 6 years in prison. (This means that Kim Young Soo was caught BEFORE the body was found at the reservoir in August. So that means either Im Sol helped with the investigation, or because people are being left with impressions of the timelines she rewrites he could have had a "gut feeling" it's never clarified within the story.)

May 2009: Ep 14

• All the items that Sol gave Sun Jae disappear from the timeline. 

December 7th 2023: Ep 13

• 7:33AM Im Sol wakes and thinks and I quote "Several seasons have passed since I came back. And it's winter again." She has almost been back a full year. She did not relive 15 years of her youth over again.
• While gathering things for work we see a budget plan for a script called "Run" with her name listed on the screenplay/budget 
• Im Sol sees a sign for Baek In Hyuk's Fan Meeting for December 30th 2023
• Bestie/Sister-in-Law Lee Hyun Joo works with Im Sol at Bon Cinema 
• Actor Park Do Jun, cameo from Kim Min Ki who played FL's younger brother in True Beauty, causes issues on the set of movie "I Want A Kiss" in which Im Sol is a producer on. 
• Im Sol prevents Do Jun from drinking and driving by lightly crashing her car into his. She is brought to the police station by Do Jun's lawyer who requests an apology from her. Kim Tae Sung is a police officer/detective and friends with Im Sol.

December 7/8, 2023: Ep 13

• Im Sol gets drinks with Tae Sung after leaving the police station. 
• Im Sol gets drunk and cries, calling out to Sun Jae saying that she misses him when it starts to snow. Tae Sung carries her home on his back. 
• Im Sol writes an angry resignation letter to her CEO while drunk and places it her updated budget file in a red envelope. 
• Sol's CEO takes the red envelope and puts it in her purse after telling Sol she's decided to make the movie Sol wrote....Plot is her love story with Sun Jae aka 'Lovely Runner' = 'Time Walking Through The Memories'
• Sol goes to the '45th Annual White Dragon Awards' to grab the red envelope from her bosses purse, and is seen by Ryu Sun Jae
• (ep13/14)Im Sol and Ryu Sun Jae run into each other on the stairs dropping the items in their hands...purse and red envelope with angry resignation for Sol, red envelope with winner for award for Sun Jae

December 8, 2023: Ep 14

• Ryu Sun Jae mistakes Im Sol for a thief mixing up their red envelopes
• Im Sol sees Sun Jae's young stalker again out side the award ceremony

December, 2023: Ep 14 

• Hyun Joo accidently sends Im Sol's script 'Time Walking Through The Memories' to Ryu Sun Jae when she meant to send the 'I Want A Kiss' script to replace Park Do Jun as the lead. 
• Sun Jae reads Im Sol's script and can't stop crying

• RSJ meets Im Sol and her CEO for lunch to talk about wanting to be cast for the lead of 'Run'
• Im Sol rejects Sun Jae MULTIPLE times for the male lead in 'Run' even after he tries to blackmail her with her resignation letter over drinks at the same hotel bar in episode 8. Daring OST from 'Melancholia' plays in the background.
• RSJ begins to have vivid dreams about his alternate timeline history with Im Sol giving him headaches

• Loser Sun Jae is back at it again
• RSJ's stalker runs into Kim Young Soo(Taxi Driver) and escapes after he tries to take her 
• Tae Sung is informed about an attempted kidnapping

December 13, 2023: ep14

• Im Sol enlists Tae Sung's help with the search for her grandmother after she goes missing
• Im Sol's grandmother goes to Ryu Sun Jae's father's restaurant. He and his intoxicated father find a photo of the grandmother and Im Sol with contact information and an explanation of grandmother's dementia. 
• Tae Sung brings Im Sol back to her apartment after they receive word she was found. Tae Sung tells Sol to be careful because of the attempted abduction
• Ryu Sun Jae brings Im Sol's grandmother home to their apartment
• Sun Jae gets completely burned by some teenagers asking him to buy them cigarettes. He sees Im Sol laugh for the first time...*cue loving eyes from Sun Jae* 
• Im Sol's grandmother asks Sol if she did well bring Sun Jae to Sol because Sol missed him

December 14, 2023: 14

• Im Sol quits her job to avoid interacting with Sun Jae
• Hyun Joo scans a lottery ticket(Purchase date Dec. 14th 2022, draw date Dec 17th 2022, payment due date Dec 18th, 2023) winning lottery ticket of 400,023,667 won
• Im Sol goes to the amusement park that she went to with Sun Jae for her 19th birthday
• Ryu Sun Jae's commercial shoot at the same amusement park gets canceled. He sees a memory of himself at this amusement park and follows Im Sol into the Ferris Wheel
• Sun Jae is wearing the same necklace he gave Sol for her birthday in the previous timeline(in episode 16 we see that when he saw it in a store window it made him cry so he bought it...his heart never forgot her only his brain.)

December 14, 2023: ep 15

• Sun Jae and Im Sol get stuck in the Ferris Wheel 
• 8:40PM Im Sol passes out & Sun Jae notices as the Ferris wheel begins to work again
• Sun Jae brings Im Sol back to his apartment fearing she wouldn't be seen by a doctor quickly enough at urgent care, and calls his friend who is a doctor to give her an IV and check her over

December 15, 2023: ep 15

• Early AM: Eclipse members come over to Sun Jae's place drunk(for a second round), and want to see who Sun Jae has in his room
• Sun Jae hides Im Sol's shoes so she will eat breakfast with him. They have the same meal they first shared together in the 1st altered timeline on July 6th after his swimming competition. Sun Jae gets a flash of this memory(Ep 3)
• Tae Sung begins investigating the attempted abduction of Sun Jae's fan at RSJ's apartment building and runs into Im Sol and Sun Jae leaving the lobby. Tae Sung takes Im Sol home. 
• CCTV shows Kim Young Soo passing Sun Jae's car on December 6, but they can't see the license plat number 
• After 9:20PM: Sun Jae brings Im Sol the medicine she left at his place that morning
• Jae Ah(Im Sol's nephew) ruins Sun Jae's clothes...shower shower nice and fresh. The fandom thanks you for your service Jae Ah. 
• Sun Jae takes the clock(the one from the time capsule) from Im Sol's room after accidentally breaking it.
• As Sun Jae sneaks out of Sol's apartment later that night he gets a flash of memory of their kiss in the entranceway of her apartment the the 2nd altered timeline(ep8)
• Ryu Sun Jae passes Kim Young Soo in the parking lot of Im Sol's apartment after 

December 16, 2023: ep 15

• Baek In Hyuk brings Sun Jae to talk with Tae Sung about the investigation. Hot tea off...the chaotic duo are back at it again with their babysitter/mediator BIH. Tae Sung stirs up Sun Jae's jealousy.
• Dashcam footage from Sun Jae's car December 6, 2023 at 11:04PM shows him passing a taxi cab. Sun Jae gets another flashback this time to the OG timeline after KYS hits Im Sol with his taxi and passes Sun Jae as well as KYS being dragged away by police

December 22or23, 2023: Ep 15 (date based on text message shown at 57:04 of episode) 

• Ryu Sun Jae with his CEO and manager meet with Im Sol and her company over dinner to discuss him staring in her project. 
• Sun Jae admits to being interested in Im Sol after the dinner and she rejects him(does anyone have a counter for the amount of rejections she's given him)
• Im Sol says a final goodbye to Sun Jae knowing she will finally quit her job
• Tae Sung picks Im Sol up and confesses that he's been feeling differently about her recently. She reminds him that there is someone she can't forget. 
• 52minutes into the episode: Grandma and Im Sol have a heart to heart about memories never disappearing but being stored in the soul. A must rewatch scene imo. 

December  25, 2023: Ep 15

• Sun Jae finds out Im Sol really quit her job and gave over her project to someone else
• As he puts the now fixed clock away into his coat pocket, he hears the melody of "Sudden Shower" play in his mind, it's implied that he then goes to record the guide for "Sudden Shower"  aka "Sonaki"=shower(same outfit)
• Tae Sung and his partner find Kim Young Soo's information at the taxi company he works for and wait for a warrant for his arrest
• 7:30PM: Im Sol receives an audio file from her old boss. Sun Jae has recorded "Sudden Shower" she plays it and cries while singing along(didn't we all) 
• Tae Sung and his partner chase after a fleeing Kim Young Soo on the streets of Seoul in their car
• Sun Jae winds up the clock and has an intense and sudden flood of memories from all of his altered lives that cause him to have a headache and disorients him. 
• Right before being rundown by the fleeing Kim Young Soo, Tae Sung crashes his car into KYS's preventing Sun Jae from being struck after accidentally running into the road. Sun Jae faints from the pain of all the memories hitting him. He remembers everything as he lies in the road under the falling snow. 

December 25, 2023: Ep 16

• Kim Young Soo flees the scene of the accident. Kim Tae Sung follows and watches as Kim Young Soo is taken out by a giant truck. His body falls in the river/reservoir below, he bleeds out and drowns in the water. (Not exactly the double tap I thought of, but poetic in it's swift justice and symmetry) 
• Sun Jae slowly wakes in the hospital emergency room hearing Im Sol's sweet voice asking him to wake up(Episode 13 audio from her waking him in the guest room of Baek In Hyuk's place). All of his memories from his alters pasts come into full focus.
• 10PM: Im Sol hears of Kim Young Soo's death, ironically in a taxi cab. Worried for Sun Jae she checks her phone and finds news he's in the hospital after being in a car accident. 
• Ryu Sun Jae and Im Sol run to each other meeting in the middle. He asks her why she's crying(call back to episode 2 and the blue umbrella). "Did you cry like that everyday when you were alone? Missing the person who...forgot everything about you?"
• Sun Jae embrace Sol as snow falls around them. Sun Jae calls her by just her name 'Sol-ah' indicating to Im Sol that he has his memories of her. (Since they've met in this new timeline they speak formally to one another, the drop to반말 / banmal aka informal speech, is significant) 
• Sun Jae brings Sol to his apartment and clings to her as they talk. 
• Sun Jae gives Sol the "S" necklace. "Memories don't disappear. They're smeared into your soul." - Grandma
• Tae Sung and his father met up outside of Tae Sung's station to talk about Kim Young Soo. "Don't call him evil and try to make it seem like he's something special. He's a social misfit and a loser. Not a monster to be afraid of." - Kim Tae Sung (say it louder for the people in the back please) "Someone who was destined to die might be alive thanks to his death."

ONE MONTH LATER...

Fun little aside: Sun Jae has Im Sol's number saved in his phone as "내운명"  "My Destiny/Fate"

January 25 2024: ep 16 

• 3pm: Im Sol works on a script in a cafe. Sun Jae buys everyone at the cafe food so that he can secretly watch Im Sol work.
• Sol tries to work in a library instead as Sun Jae caused too much of a disturbance at the cafe...Sun Jae gets called out by name for being to noisy by someone studying(call back to their college dating era). 
• The pair are secretly photographed outside of the library by paparazzi 
• Finally they end up at his apartment where he actually leaves her alone long enough to finish her script. 
• Im Sol stays the night at Sun Jae's place (uno reverse card as Im Sol is the one trying to stay...call back to episode 12 guest room scene) Baek In Hyuk forever and always the best unintentional wingman

January 26, 2024: ep16

• Morning bed scene; call back to episode 13; "It's not tomorrow. Not before we open our eyes." Tickle flirting 
• Watch is mentioned as Im Sol explains she couldn't go back in time even if she wanted to as she no longer has the watch
• Grandma throws the watch in the same little stream that it fell in in episode 1. There are no longer any numbers visible on the watch as it just reads 00:00:00
• Sun Jae giving the best house husband vibes 
• News of Sun Jae dating are published with Im Sol's face blurred
• Sun Jae picks out an engagement ring with the help of Baek In Hyuk and his little manager. Baek In Hyuk, wingman-extraordinaire activated.   
• Sol and Sun Jae run into Tae Sung after he drops a present off for her nephews birthday. Active jealous Sun Jae.
• In this new timeline Kim Tae Sung never dated Im Sol in the past...this very much pleases Sun Jae
• Tae Sung confirms  with Sol tjhat Sun Jae is the one she couldn't forget until she died, as any time she was drunk she would cry and call out Ryu Sun Jae's name desperately 
• After the pair drink together Sun Jae hugs and thanks Tae Sung for catching Kim Young Soo, telling Tae Sung that he put an end to the ill-fated relations. 
• Sun Jae's manager comes to pick Im Sol and Sun Jae up...he is disgusted by Sun Jae's cheese and cling film like love for Sol

January 27, 2024: ep 16(shot of Sun Jae's watch and phone on the ferry shows Sat, Jan 27 )

• Jae Ah's 1st birthday party held at Ryu Sun Jae's father's restaurant (Jae Ah's birthdate might have changed slightly with the altered timeline)
• Both families are shocked to find Im Sol and Sun Jae dating...Grandma isn't of course(most of Im Sol's family is in pink toned Hanboks while Sun Jae's father is in blue...traditional colors of bride/groom family members during a wedding ceremony. Wish her mother was also in pink so this would fit better, but what can ya do) This whole family table scene is a call back to episode 11
• Eclipse performs karaoke at Jae Ah's birthday when Sun Jae entices them with new equipment for their studio (Minyangi pointed out that the news article that RSJ's father reads confirms that Sun Jae is the lead vocalist of Eclipse. Thank you Minyangi!)
• ~1 hour mark into episode: very touching moment between Sun Jae and Im Sol's grandmother "You can now have a long life with her. Be happy together. With a lot of smiles." - Grandma
• 8:50-9PM: Hilarious failed proposal on the ferry on Han River. Im Sol calls out EVERY SINGLE move before it's made, except the drone. 
• 8:55PM: Five minutes before proposing Im Sol tells Sun Jae that she wants to direct her own movie(short) and submit it for a short film festival in the spring.

February-March 2024:

• Im Sol directs & edits her first Short Film "Wish" 소원 saved in her computer with an English subtitle 'Hope' (Personally like to think of this as a small call back to Genie(Tell Me Your Wish) which debuted on the day of the Solar Eclipse in 2009 as the short has a teenage girl in a wheelchair at a hospital park . I feel like the story might be based on how Sun Jae Saved her on July 22, 2009 with words of kindness and love)

February 22, 2024: 

• Sun Jae sends a coffee truck support to Im Sol on her short film set. Not hiding their relationship in the least. Sun Jae has ZERO chill. 

March, 2024:

• ~1:09:00 Sun Jae carries Im Sol and runs 

Late March/Early April: (when cherry blossoms bloom)

• Ryu Sun Jae proposes to Im Sol as they catch cherry bloom petals and make wishes(call back to episode 11...April 17, 2009)
• They both share a flash of a memory of their wedding that hasn't happened yet

Thank you all so much for helping me with this timeline and giving me encouragement to keep it going. I might still come back to revise things and flesh out events in some areas. Should Sol and Sunjae date in Amusement park to celebrate Sol b'day on 3rd May?

Based on eps 12 around 20:50:

Sol and Sunjae caught Hyunju and brother in Sol house. This is when Sunjae fanning the mad Sol. Later that night we see Sunjae open his phone it shows 4th May.

Then on 5th May they go to Inhyuk hometown

1. Yeah, I also some debatable about Sol b'day in twitter :D

2. The outfit that Sunjae wear that night is the same with outfit (grey hoodie) when they catch Im Geum and Hyun Joo dating, that's why I thought it is in the same day, which is 4th May. But the odd thing, if Sol b'day is 3rd May, why Sol not wearing the necklace (maybe production defect they forgot to put it on and Sol b'day still debatable between 3rd or 4th May :D). 

3. If Sol b'day is 4th, in the morning they dated in amusement park and at night Sunjae change clothes (to the day before) and see the phone that stated 4th May, is this the timeline that you thought?

I also believe he committed suicide in original timeline. Because, if he was attacked, the attacker would have been caught on hotel cctv. 

The investigation still going on so they suspect it’s suicide.

If they do the autopsi they’ll know Sunjae is chloroformed.

Respectfully, No. He NEVER committed suicide. The WHOLE point is that he was ALWAYS the witness that put Kim Young Soo away for trying to hurt/hurting Im Sol, and thus he was ALWAYS Kim Young Soo's target after he gets out of prison in 2022. 

In the OG timeline Sun Jae was dealing with the guilt of not waking Im Sol for her bus stop. He wanted to talk to her more. In this timeline they are not neighbors anymore as she would have moved because of the fire in July. So to spend more time with her he road the bus and watched her. Because he pressed the stop button on the bus, but didn't get off with her she ended up alone in the middle of Kim Young Soo's hunting ground.

He blames himself for Im Sol becoming paralyzed, and traumatized by KYS. He is dealing with depression and anxiety and on medication for it. After seeing Im Sol that night he also had a few drinks. His response time would have been much slower if he were to be attacked by a vengeful murderer.  

Ep 8-9: 2nd timeline and technically 3rd time experiencing Sun Jae's death/coma: Im Sol is no longer paralyzed, nor was the reason she was attacked on May 10th "directly" related to Sun Jae.  He was excitedly waiting for Im Sol to get off work to met him at the hotel. In the news report it is mentioned that KYS enters the hotel room with a chloroform  soaked cloth. We see this in another clip, can't remember if it's in a BTS  or if it was fully shown in the actual show, but the news reports state that the cloth was found at the scene, but Sun Jae fought his attacker and KYS then resorted to stabbing RSJ when he dropped the cloth.

SoOoOooo that means that in the original timeline, KYS entered the hotel room the same way as before. But because Sun Jae was under the influence he wasn't able to fight off KYS and was chloroformed. He would have been thrown over the balcony by KYS without anyone ever suspecting a thing. 

We see that the person who knocks into Im Sol after the concert is the same person BOTH times it happens....that person is KYS. He is stalking Sun Jae after being released from prison BOTH times. 

We are repeatedly shown and told that Sun Jae is a good man. He won an award for being a good Samaritan before ever meeting Im Sol. It is in her nature to do the right thing. Testifying to put someone away would always be the right thing. And with Im Sol being so traumatized and forgetting the attack in the OG timeline he would have once again been the SOLE witness to KYS's crimes and his main target once released from prison. 

Thank you for clarification. I re-watched some episodes, and totally missed that bell ringing sound, in ML's hotel room in original timeline. That makes it completely possible that he was in fact murdered. Now my only doubt is, why the culprit was not caught on CCTV? When police later came to FL, they said she was last person he met. Why didn't they check hotel lobby camera? Maybe it is a plot hole or production mistake.
