Quick-Witted Characters
It's really a breath of fresh air when the main leads are able to grasp the situation around them and are able to think their way through problems that occur. There is also some irony that revolves around the lead not knowing what's going on, and that's fine, I get that... But it's also kinda fun to have a character walk into the the TARDIS and understand that "It's another dimension." (My Doctor Who loving self will stop here though >.<) Anyway...
Here's a list to celebrate some of these characters...
Necessary characteristics (Cause I think this could get messy)
- Able to use their knowledge to deductively reason out what the fish-sticks is going on.
- Play their opponent's mind game and mostly stay atop. (Even if they do fall to traps)
- Use their knowledge and surroundings to fabricate what ever they are needing.
- Battle of the mind instead of fists (though they can have the skill and use it, it's not their main go to in a battle)
- Be the Main Character (subs will be in honorary mentions)
- Even if the character is "smart" and the show says "yo, [__] is smart" they actually use it... and don't leave you frustrated they don't know yet. (That's like giving your character a knife or a sword and they act like it's not even in their possession)
(Not including Mystery Shows... 'cause those characters better be thinking >.<)
