Dropped E12 - wrote this in the comments but didn't wanna ruin the vibe there kekeke but I will preface by saying...I liked the fl at first, but there were moments that became more and more frequent that reminded me of all the other FLs I've seen this particular characteristic in. like it tied it all together for me into a trope. it's like in the history of dramas, there was a period where what we'd see most were doormat FLs who would be celebrated as a martyr not a person, or FLs who were just so incapable of having a thought. that evolved (thank god) in diff ways and a well written FL is def more common, but in C-Dramas specifically, there's also the specific FL of dramas where they describe her as feisty. You know, in the plot synopsis, they'll say "she's feisty and straightforward" or some shit, but what that most often means is rash, unreasonable, and yells every line. a more recent one I've seen in C-Dramas and that finally came together for me in this show, is the "fake smart" FL trope. The FL is presented as smart; a career woman, an accomplished scientist, etc etc, but she's not functionally smart in the plot or when it matters. she's specifically /known/ to be, and constantly /told/ to be, but not only will she always be dwarfed by ML, but she will also act contrary to it. OR, what happened here, she'll be randomly incredibly smart at opportune moments in a way that doesn't even make it feel like her but that she's just specifically written to like just randomly GAH ik that doesn't sound right I feel like I need to rewatch to write down examples bc im left w the feelings of it but I doubt ill do that....

honestly I cant think of examples and im losing steam maybe ill edit this later

We were goddamn robbed blind. The editing and censorship fucked up what imo is a MASTERPIECE of romance. I cannot love the FL and ML more.

So good, fantastic FL of my DREAMS, but the romance had such potential only to be CRIMINALLY underdeveloped to the point where I didn't feel romance at all, and the end / last few eps just sucked and rly dampened enjoyment of drama over all
