I loved how the set-up of each scene spoke with its viewers rather than having the actors say much, but also the brilliant, unconventional dialogues.

A whimsical tragi-comedy -spiced with musical elements- told in flashbacks/glimpses into the troubled, frivolous and vibrant life of Matsuko.
With an outstanding cinematography, full of vivid colours and an outlandish as well as unforgettable style, this jarring sarcastic fairytale isn't for everyone, but definitely deserves a try.

Such an underrated drama!
Bae Do Na and Seo Ji Suk were splendid at their roles and had beautiful chemistry!
Halmeoni was superb, and the couple of Jin Ju & Eo Jin was the sweetest!

Kim Sung Chul and Choi Yoo Ri' s performances were fantastic and their chemistry as siblings was stellar!

A light and fresh slice-of-life drama centered on classical music and friendship.
Nakagawa Taishi as Rihito-kun was so adorable and Matsushita Yuki as Yukie so heartwarming :)

It could have been much better with this cast, but it felt somehow 'procedural' and rushed - not that inspiring for such a real tragic love story...

9 min of sexiness and elegance!

It's cheesy, fluffy, with a rather non-sensical plot that would have been a flop with longer or more eps, but not that bad for a mini drama.

If you overlook the overacting and overdramatic expressions here and there, it was funny, unique and had a great bromance.

It took me a while to warm up to it, but overall this slow-paced, healing story was a nice watch.

Beautiful cinematography and colouring, ethereal directing and acting were its strongest elements, while the confusing first episodes, the overly dramatic tone of the last episodes and, especially, the feeling that sometimes 'it was trying too much' to tug at our heartstrings, weakened the final outcome.

Surprisingly entertaining, though it's a non-brainer quasi-musical comedy, spiced with melodrama hints. The best part were the visuals, the colour palette and Li Qin's charms.

A compelling, dark and twisted story, serving also as a social commentary, of an unprivileged young man and the depths of his desperation to achieve his dream.

A funny, heartwarming story of an unlikely friendship, with lots of melodies and cacophonies, comic and dramatic moments.
The storytelling could have been much better and the characters more properly fleshed out, but overall the movie was enjoyable thanks to the great chemistry between rookie Saito Jun and veteran Ayano Go, whose performance was totally on point even though his voice was hilariously off beat.

Bitter-sweet, inspiring but too predictable and 'noisy'.
Definitely not the best work of Kamio Fuju (he did put a lot of effort but he was a mismatch).
But, knowing this is based on a true story and a real person, it hits different and most of its mishaps can be overlooked.
