1. The Untamed
Chinese Drama - 2019, 50 episodes
(Chinese Drama based on a BL novel ) Action/Adventure/Historical/Mystery/Fantasy
Be warned that the first 2 episodes suck (almost took me like 10 episodes to be sold) - you will want to drop this and think "this sucks" BUT don't do it cause you'd miss out on one of the greatest masterpieces EVER - I got OBSESSED and I will get any of my friends addicted to this show 100% success rate hehe The cinematography, the acting, the soundtrack, the characters, the story - just magical, don't even get me started, just legit my favorite show and it changed my life, period.

2. Signal
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
Mystery/Crime/Thriller/Drama
Probably the most exciting and suspenseful Kdrama I've watched! I personally love anything Thriller, there's no love story in here at all but not even needed, no wonder it's one of the highest rated shows! Just super interesting story that will keep you wanting to binge watch in one go cause you needa know what happens next!!
-
3. Flower of Evil
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Crime/Drama/Thriller/Romance
This drama might be my new favorite - it was just a perfect rollercoaster from beginning to end, thrilling, unpredictable, heart tearing and heart warming at the same time, phenomenal acting, brilliant writing, such beautiful dialogue, every scene incredibly exciting up to the big cliff hangers every episode.
-
4. Crash Landing on You
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
Drama/Romance/Comedy
What a masterpiece of a brilliant Kdrama. The feelz are real, a beautiful mix of drama and comedy. The whole story line sounded super interesting to me cause how much bigger can the stakes be than literally being stuck in North Korea. They executed it so beautifully you won't know what's coming next and the finale will give you a heartbreaking reality check. Left me researching anything I could find about North Korea. Also the chemistry is real, no wonder they ended up dating hehe
-
5. Mr. Sunshine
Korean Drama - 2018, 24 episodes
Action/Historical/Romance/Tragedy
WOW! This show left the biggest impact on me. I stayed away from this for the longest time cause the story didn't speak to me at all but the crazy high rating made me curious and I'm SO glad I did. It's a little slow towards the beginning, a lot of political talk etc, which is sometimes hard to follow especially when you're not interested in politics but every scene is important to the story line and it kind of builds everything up for the second half of the show that will just RIP your heart apart. My heart was left broken beyond repair. I don't think any other show ever had me sobbing for hours straight, I legit couldn't breathe and as I said it left the biggest impact on me.

6. My Name
Korean Drama - 2021, 8 episodes
Wow this was INTENSE! The acting was absolutely phenomenal especially Han So hee. The screenplay was amazing too with the perfect pacing so it always keeps you on your feet every minute, I would've legit binged all 8 episodes in one night if I could. (Lots of gory stabbing, violence and heartbreak tho so not for the weak hearts)

-
10. Vagabond
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes

-
15. The King: Eternal Monarch
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Mystery/Romance/Drama/Sci-Fi
Again idk why this only has a 8.0 rating, I actually really loved this drama. I loved the whole parallel universe storyline, those concepts are always super intriguing to me! I personally didn't care too much about the main love story but I'd rewatch this ANY DAY just to stare at Woo Dohwan, his double role just made the entire drama for me, he's so funny.
-
16. SKY Castle
Korean Drama - 2018, 20 episodes
Mystery/Psychological/Drama
This is another one where the story didn't speak to me at all but since everyone was raving about it I wanted to see what it was about and it certainly was worth the hype. Again it was kinda slow and meh in the first half where I almost wanted to drop it but the second half HOLY SHITTTT!!!!! It goes down. CRAZY. And all the build up in the first half was so worth it. This is a show that will leave a big impact on you.
-

24. Itaewon Class
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Romance/Drama/Food/Friendship/Life/Business
Liked it but doesn't come close to all the other shows haha I feel like this isn't something I would usually watch, more of a realistic slice of life but still kept me invested and I loved seeing so much of Itaewon and Seoul :)

I don't remember much about this other than that I watched this in like 2017 and it made me remember EXACTLY why I stopped watching Kdramas for a while: because they're so good and so addicting it'll make me binge so hard I'll be unable to focus on anything else.
