Thai BLs I've watched - Ranked!

This was absolutely beautiful. Everything was done so right. While I love me some unrealistic tropes, the realism about Wen/Alan got me good and Heart/Liming was adorable. 

Mix is such an excellent actor, I have no words!

LM put me on a rollercoaster ride. I have no idea how I managed to survive that wild ride. 

LM was heartbreaking and yet fluffy. The main trope was so wrong morally but yet so real and portrayed so right. Mark is absolutely an angel. War +1 fan here. 

I am a pool of fluff goo.

This was so fluffy and cute and everything nice and yet, so well executed. I constantly was waiting for the dreaded shoe to drop but there was no shoe, not even sock (sorry dobby). 

Everyone was adorable, TayNew was perfection. I loved every single moment. 

I... had no idea I'd enjoy this so much. 

Everything was done so right, from the comedy to the realism of it and also... the chemistry is off the roof. 

That ending scene was hilariously adorable and it is definitely high up on my rewatch list. I adored this and finally understand why fans are heartbroken that OhmNanon is no longer working together. 

I rated this a 10 because of how it made me SOB. Mix's first ever acting job and when he was counting the stars? I sobbed. 

This was less about romance but about Tian's self discovery which was done so well. 

I really enjoyed ITSAY from a visual perspective but I am not a fan of high school dramas so that so I am probably biased there but IPYTM is amazing. I was not expecting it to be so raw and real. 

So so so so in love. 

My heart just exploded from all these sweetness. MSP made me laugh, made me squeal and made me miss my school days. 

This was an absolute gem (pun intended).  The fact that it didn't become all about the couple was amazing, parents were amazing, that talk about being kind to their kid was amazing, GemFourth, everything. EVERYTHING. 

I loved it and it's a 10/10 but ranked 6 because I am biased about some of the other dramas above. If we are talking about storyline, I'd put this right below Moonlight Chicken. 

I put this down here although I really liked it is because I probably wouldn't rewatch it?

I found the third couple extremely unnecessary but Jeff Satur is necessary so I am conflicted.

This was extremely well done, I loved it but it was a lot to watch, a lot going on.

This was SO messy but good messy but the first couple really fell flat for me. The other two carried the show IMO.

PondPhuwin were great together and the plot really wasn't as bad as most put it to be. Chemistry was fire, the casual intimacy was amazing.

What else is there to say? Perfect NC scenes, fire chemistry and fun plot to watch. 

Only peeve - the two couples were split in two parts of the drama so that was weird. 

Fluffy and cute! Santa 10/10. 

Earth is so cute but they definitely made him cry a lil too much and CAKEEEE too many times but still, very cute. Santa... Nothing else to say except for WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN IN MY LIFE.

Most of the points deduction goes to the last 2 episodes that seemed more like an ad for Thailand's Stop Smoking campaign or whatever they have going on lol.

Excellent plot, top notch execution. This was a very heavy and serious drama with stellar acting from ALL of the cast, Gun, Off, First... I really enjoyed Not Me but this is definitely not a BL, it's a LGBTQ+ drama. 

It's extremely heavy so I probably wouldn't rewatch this but damn, am I impressed.

This could have been a 10 but the execution of the last 3 episodes were... mid. 

The last episode turned into a FMV. I can get behind all of what happened in the last 3 episodes but it was SO rushed with minimal justification, explanation and portrayal. 

This was so so so cute. It was a really simple romcom and OffGun were AMAZING together. 

Neo and Aungpao? uwu. 

I actually really liked this. I get that this whole relationship revolves around toxicity and damn, Mame. 

But Type's character growth is beyond any other BL I have watched, they softened him bit by bit but didn't turn him into mush. Tropey, sure, but very enjoyable. 

The special episode was also something special, especially the conversation with Kom. 

To everyone that hates CP for its arranged marriage/grooming trope - It's a drama! Entertainment value! Chemistry between ZNN??? 10/10.

This was great! Cinematography and all was amazing. Probably the best on this list but I am just slightly biased because I don't enjoy high school dramas a lot. 

I actually really enjoyed this. Yes, there are plot holes and they didn't put the whole parallel universe trope to full use but JimmySea were great together, and it was such an easy watch. 

It was a really fun drama to catch, with minimal angst per se. I'd totally rewatch this when I want something light and fun. 

This was entirely a slice of life about Tharn and Type navigating adulthood and I really liked it. Type's character growth through S1 and S2 is immense. It was less grippling than TT1 but I still enjoyed it, except that Fiat and Leo were a bore. 

This was the final EM led drama that I've watched and yes it does not compare to Moonlight Chicken and A Tale of Thousand Stars, barely even close but it was still a really fun romcom to watch! The comedic moments were perfect, emotional moments also great. I would only have to say that the wrap up of the family issues were pretty rushed like a 30s gift wrap but overall, I still liked it!

Mix oh Mix... Thanks for letting the masses know what it's like to have a period in a comedic way. 

Because ZeeNuNew, I'm sorry, I'm biased. But if I had to remove my bias, please take a point off. 

P'Aof came in with the clutch! This was all things fluffy. All dramas NEED to have a second installation like this... Pretty please?

This was cute and yes, acting probably has room for improvement but chemistry was alright and the storyline itself was just really easy to watch!

This was actually NOT that bad. With the ratings on MDL, I was worried that I'd feel like I would waste my time but honestly, it was pretty ok! It's generic romcom and for sure Dunk needs some improvements to his acting but overall, storyline wise, it's easy to watch and fluffy. And yes, it doesn't really do its name "Hidden Agenda" justice but really isn't that bad. It's a fun, light, fluffy show to watch with great chemistry. 

MaxNat is great together but hello CGI gods, please give them a better tiger.

Story was fine, NC scenes were amazing (I felt like I should have been Nong, put in a corner while it was all happening) but it didn't wow me. I watched this in the beginning for crumbs of ZNN but quite liked it overall! Nothing special is what I would say. 

This was really a slice of life, it was ok and wasn't as terrible as most made it out to be. I gave it an 8 because there really wasn't anything hugely wrong with it but it just was flat. 

7.5 all goes to Khaotung, First and Neo. 

The premise started out great but faltered. 12 episodes seemed totally unnecessary if you just summarised the entire plot (which I won't spoil here). However, I still enjoyed it because Khaotung, First and Neo are really really excellent actors and it's a joy seeing them on screen regardless. The chemistry, the acting... 

This is highly rated mostly for its acting, cinematography etc etc. Production value was amazing, leads were great, everything was great but it was way too slow for me. 

I wouldn't rewatch this. 

I really enjoyed the first half when they poked fun at the BL industry but then it just faltered away in the second half and basically turned INTO what they were poking fun at. I sped through the last half, I was bored but the overall premise is fun and some parts were funny so I'm not rating this to death.

Highly rated because YinWar but I watched the long version first so this really seemed like a summary to me. Ploy was so friggin annoying here LOL. 

Don't hate it, don't love it. It's mid. WAY too many couples. WinTeam is cute.

This was cute, I can't really point out much that's terribly wrong with it but quite forgettable. 

Neo's story of the 5th year student was amazing. I actually sped through some of the main couple parts just to get there. It was hilarious! I kind of forgot what the main couple was about really but Neo made the show worth it. 

I didn't mind this, the chemistry of the main couple was great and story was simple enough but it wasn't a wow. Chemistry as good though! The second couple was great as well but this was quite forgettable. 

I watched this because I am mildly obsessed with Zee but oh my god, there were so many couples and so much going on. I know covid caused the falter of the plot but I actually enjoyed the beach vacation more than the non-covid times because it was simple. Saint was amazing as well. NC scenes were really well done but otherwise, half the time my brain was what the hell is going on?
