watched it and was like, wtf?! then watched it again 

i liked the gymnast. it was pretty too. hated everything else.
acting of some main actors (especially the central one) wasn't my style, i kept thinking how weird it is. i've heard that's it's japanese style of acting so i just accepted it

great beginning. then it went downhill. got creepy, manipulative and unhealthy. just why? it could have been a great drama

everything about this was perfect. one of those medias you need to experience at least twice. because that ending did a nice shift to the story

on the same level as the bad kids, even if they're completely different. quality drama. you'll cry

another drama i was hoping to love. it was alright. couldn't connect with it

can barely remember what it was about. the only thing i can recollect is that i lowkey hated it lol

not huge fan of "i'm straight but i like this dude. but not other dudes. so i'm not gay. but i like this guy who is a man. i want to marry him. but i'm straight! no homo" but i got into the college life story and ended up liking it lol

it was alright. felt repetitive. same formula for each episode. i was curious about that mysterious student from the past. but watching season two would be a torture so i moved on

i'm still not over it. not perfect. some questionable choices were made (weird editing, some shooting scenes made me laugh out loud). wish it was longer, a 6 episode drama length. wanted the characters to be more explored. would watch the hell out of it

lives up to the hype

wasn't a big fan of the acting. actor who played Neo kicked me out the story.  secondary actors were the best, wish they were mains. if Mae  was the main character i'd love this. 

didn't buy the polyamory tbh. two people in love with Neo and stuck together. i didn't feel like any of them loved Shin. just like friends. that poor guy. Neo and Miw were into each other. maybe it's actors, but yeah, i saw a love triangle only 

i liked that  the bad guys were morally gray. Phon and Tur were interesting characters. seriously, imagine if Mae, Phon and Tur were the main leads 

too many couples. everyone gets paired up. Lee Eun Jung's storyline  carried the whole show. couldn't stand writer (jinjoo) and director (beomsoo), and they got 86% of the screen time

weird af, in a good way. have no clue what it was about but i've enjoyed it a lot. it will stick with me for sure. original and imaginative. don't expect answers. acid trip. ep5 killed me

kinda changed my opinion. still not a fan but don't find it as bad anymore

if you need to take a break from dark stuff and watch something where good people win (it's obviously not realistic, that's the point), this is for you.
revenge, friendship, family

cute and pure. funny at times. good drama to take a break from reality. this drama will give you hope that maybe good people exist. but they were too good tbh, wanted more layers. and again, didn't care about romance, it was kind of annoying tbh, but it's just me. platonic relationships were on point

super short. funny and relatable 

inspires you to be a good person everyday (or at least try). most beautiful ost i've heard in a k-drama. interesting characters. not sure how i feel about the ending tbh

idk why but romances where characters barely touch each other has more effect on me than ones where couples make out all the time and act cringy af

cool ost. amazing set designs. great characters and chemistry between them. loved the art as well. it's really pretty, they got some good budget damn. and the fighting scenes were amazing, especially actor who plays QiLing

kept me intrigued and interested till the end. actually interesting mystery detective. there's romance but it's not the center of the story. loved that even when the characters were in love they've kept their brain cells and actually focused on doing their jobs (and be good at it)

great character development. non-toxic male leads, holy shit? actually smart and strong female characters. main fl was naive but she gets better as the story progresses 

wtf was that lol i'm watching season two

this show is insane and ridiculous but is aware of it. has lots of stuff that usually pisses me off but i can't stop watching it? maybe it's because i'm in pain. it's a good show to watch when sick lol

quality drama. realistic plot. unforgettable characters. another show where you can learn a lot of stuff. highly recommend.
it's obvious that they had to cut few episodes, so the last episodes feel a bit choppy 

i'm not into romance (i skip all the kisses and shit because i don't want to see it lol)  but this drama was really cool. and the couple was great too. loved both leads but Zi Rui  stole the show lol i want same story but from his pov

loved first 16 episodes, they were almost perfect. then it got kind of boring and lost a bit of its charm. and there were almost no funny scenes, unfortunately. but the couple was great, chemistry 100/100.  

fl was a bit too much for me, but i still think she's a cool character.
i'm not into celeb/non-celeb romance but this one didn't bother me

the message and commentary about fandom toxicity was great!

i'd give the first 16 episodes 9.5/10 and the rest ten would be 7.5-8/10
ending might anger some people lol

never heard of this story before. have no interest in anime. and yet, this is one of the best dramas i've seen this year. 

impressive acting, forgot i wasn't there with them. there wasn't a second that i thought it was  boring (and i know nothing about go). it felt original (for me), because i don't think i had seen something like this before. 

really good cgi. i like how it was shot. loved how they made Chu Ying, (that one cgi scene from ep30 was stunning)

the only flaws i can think of are: wish that the female characters had more screen time; it had some pacing issues in the middle, but not for long, and it wasn't bad

100% recommend if you like friendships, self discovery, wholesome content, walking meme main lead, rivalry (it was gay af)

not perfect but close. liked a lot this social commentary on mental illness,, how we villainize and misunderstand people who have them. would definitely recommend but check tw before going into.
loved the characters and friendships. great character development

lawyer Wang She  reminded me a lot of Jiang Yang from Light on Series: The Long Night

and Ying Si Yue (character whose brother suffers from schizophrenia) reminded me of Li Shui Hua (male lead's first love. her father sold her, and she was forced to marry some random dude) from Minning Town,  both genuinely kind hearted characters

central themes: prejudice and misunderstanding of mental illness
                                    how families/ friends of criminals are also victims in most cases
                                    flawed judicial system
                                    shameless media
                                    aftermaths of a trauma
                                    differences of classes

ignoring the propaganda ( otherwise it wouldn't pass the censorship, and never air), this is one of best dramas i've seen  this year.  the only reason why it's 9.5, and not 10, is the last episode

i was worried because of the romance, wasn't into it at all, and actually considered dropping the drama. thought it would ruin everything (what a fool lol). and then they met again, and i lost my peace
i like that even though they have loved each other, they acted like normal people ,with functional brain. the romance is like 10%, and it's perfect (for me)

i can't be more specific because spoilers (not really because it's obvious where it's going but still, just in case). i was surprised by ml. one of things that took me off guard, was the reason and how long it took him to come to one important decision. loved that

another + for them letting ml to be traumatized and cry on-screen 

female characters were badass, smart, beautiful, kind, brave af, selfless... you got the idea. wish they had more screen time. loved both of them so much

acting was amazing, hope to see the actors again. great characters and their development. show itself is very pretty too. yeah, 100% recommend. i wasn't interested in it because it's out of my comfort zone. guess i was wrong

+ opening credits ost is amazing

damn it took me 14 days to watch this lol. i had to pause every second in disbelief. "is THAT allowed?!" was my constant thought lmao it's officially the gayest drama i've seen

what i liked:

• found family! my favorite part tbh
• the chemistry, both romantic and platonic was great
• the flirting between main leads was... intense
  (SPOILERS!!! when in ep36 Wen KeXing  mouthed the lyrics "i like/love you" i lost my shit. wtf, how?!)
• the acting was good, especially older actors. main were good too, but i have to admit, there were moments i was like " why did you do that lol"
• Ye BaiYi  was def my fav. such a troll, i love him
• i wish we had more time with lady ghosts and scorpion dude. i was extremely intrigued by them.
• it's funny, made me laugh out loud. especially product placement, lmao it was hilarious 
• i could see right from the start that the show was made with love
• it's pretty

stuff that was okay:

• story/plot wasn't really my thing. i got bored around ep 24 (it's also predictable af)
• secondary couple was okay, i didn't care tbh. i liked them both as separate characters. they were cute af. but together, i just, sorry i didn't feel it
• overdramatization in ep 25 took me out. i'm horrible person but i laughed several times because of how ridiculous it looked. 2nd half was okay though
• i was waiting for some wlw between two ghost ladies (you know whom i'm talking about). kmon guys, you're already walking on a thin line
• wish there was less slow-mo, especially with fighting. it looked silly

this drama will have a special place in my heart. i got health problems, it was a good distraction

this would me, if i was trapped in a world, where everyone's obsessed with romance and sex.....wait....oh...oh no

+ important topics were discussed, not deeply but i still appreciate it was mentioned at all. (suicide, mental illness, fatphobia, eating disorder, plastic surgery culture, sexism, grief, etc)
+ liked the friendship and familial relationships, felt realistic. chemistry was amazing
+ YuTong  x YuFan's chemistry was great too (even though, once they got together, i didn't care much tbh)
+ theme of forgiving, 2nd chances and when to walk away/ break up
+ how is to be an single older woman (who's also successful and independent). facing sexism and pressure

- there was one thing i hated in this drama: one character, so drunk they could barely walk, is escorted home by other, completely sober, character. they have sex. i was waiting for it to be addressed but it never was

stuff that i was neutral about:
+/- romance (i just didn't care. especially NanJia's.  damn they did her dirty)
+/- XuYan pissed me off, but i'm glad her story was told. not only people like that exist (i knew few) but also because of the important topics that were introduced. but damn i couldn't stand how spoiled, ungrateful and demanding she was. but she wasn't a bad person, just naive and with princess attitude. i honestly have no idea how they became friends with her
+/- there was one episode, don't remember which, there was just way too much drama

thing that made me laugh:
YiFan constantly witnessing XiChen's struggles. accidently. when it happened 1st time it was believable, then 2nd, then 3rd. and then it just kept happening. whenever XiChen was saying something private, or sharing her problems, there he was, accidentally overhearing it. made me laugh real hard. it was ridiculous 

damn i've missed watching  heavy dark stuff

this show is very short, only 6 episodes. it revolves around bullying and harassment in the military, both physical and emotional. + how broken that system is. it's heavy show, especially 2nd half, so check tw

it's a very beautiful show (visually). felt like screenshotting or making gifs of certain scenes

friendship between main leads was precious, loved it and loved them. great acting. i still can hear those freaking screams. haunting

great character development! highly recommend to watch it. if you can ofc 

i was in pain, due to health problems, so i was already on edge while watching it. cried like a baby.  2nd half of last episode, damn. it will stay with me forever

loved the 1st half. it's unrealistic af, but damn seeing those people getting the karma was so damn satisfying. and even though it's not realistic (i'm pretty sure that wasn't the point anyway), the cases are. so yeah, i'd give 1's half 9.5/10 and add to my faves. 

but unfortunately 2nd half happened. it was a hot mess. and the ending, i was like, SPOILERS? is this a disney movie lmao. i wish they've kept same formula, or made it only 6/8 episodes. so much potential. 2nd half gets 5.0/10

still not sure about the rating. 8.5/10 or 9.0/10? hm...definitely prefer this plot over Guardian and Word Of Honor

i've started the novel when i was on episode 5 i think and finished when i was on ep40. should you read the novel? well, depends. the world is better. it's creepier and gorier. liked some arcs better in the novel, especially Yi City. more found family time! dark scary wuxian! the yin iron pieces in the drama, why? body parts puzzle was way more metal. 

i'd rec 1st half of the novel.  why not 2nd half? well...gross fetishization of gay men. weird self insert. wuxian gets insufferable. characters acting weird and super immature. wuxian turns into teenage girl. getting wangji drunk on purpose to manipulate him? big yikes! consent? never heard of her. anyway, it's just gross man. drama follows the novel closely so you'll miss nothing. just few changes here and there. this time the censorship made the romance better lol

drama is way better. it nailed the romance. great chemistry! perfect casting. main leads are 10x better. only thing, wish wuxian was darker (his revenge on wen chao and wang lingjiao, bruh that was scary af in the novel). female characters got more screen time and were better developed. characters were constant and didn't act oc all of sudden. flashbacks. in the novel we get interumped all the time, in the drama it's more constant and not as intrusive and deseorintating 

yeah, had lots of fun watching it. main leads were great but damn ♡Wen Ning♡ stole my heart. love him so much

p.s. i was anxious before starting this due to all the warnings. everyone said that it's super confusing and hard to get into. ???? got into it right away. if you read/watch about other worlds, you're constantly thrown into them with no info. you have to figure out everything and everyone. that's the whole point. so i honestly don't get why people say that

i can describe this show with one word: nauseating

idk why though. not because of the gore, that stuff doesn't get me, i've seen way worse. but i felt ill, about to throw  up, watching this show, especially the 1st half. i kept wondering why. i think it gave me ptsd,  mostly one character (no it wasn't the dentist, even though that actor had creeped me out even before i've watched this lol)

can't believe they have pulled this "plot-twist" yet again. not a single surprising thing about this drama. 86% action. i was so pissed off lmao

still thinking if 8.5 or 9.0. probably somewhere in the middle

extremely gripping plot. once i started, couldn't stop until finished it. it's my 2nd try. on 1st only managed 3 episodes, and couldn't get into it. i guess you need to be in right mood for it. glad i gave it another chance

1st half was pissed off. 2nd half was sad. impossible to not emphasize with the "villains".  couldn't figure out who the murderer was until the reveal. really cool plot. great actors

can't believe they've made me root for that damn roach in the 2nd half

it's not perfect. a bit over dramatic sometimes. especially roach and the wife. wish that the characters were better fleshed out. especially DooNa's. we know almost nothing about her. it's more of a plot driven drama i guess. but yeah, definitely recommend. love the poster

highly recommend! important topics. mostly victim blaming discussion. feminism! 

you'll get hooked on immediately. the story doesn't stop unwinding until the end. you'll never know who's telling the truth. really cool storytelling. short episodes you'll fly through it. final reveal might be not for everyone, but the ending will be still, somehow, satisfying. great acting. 

had lots of fun watching it, and it's not even my thing. definitely watching the 2nd one. i don't have much to say about it. loved the plot twist. effects were cool too. great actors 

not sure if i'd like it if i haven't read the book 1st. it was last year, so i don't remember the plot perfectly, still could notice that the movie followed the book's plot closely. of course it's not as rich in detail, but i'd definitely recommend both the book and the movie. it's full of plot twists, if it's something you're looking for in thrillers. and the movie got great visuals, which is always nice

not my type of movie. it says comedy but i didn't find it funny. not because it wasn't, just not my style i guess. this movie is more like a superhero thing, rather than an mystery investigation/police action. i couldn't stop stinking how unrealistic it was. if you turn off your disbelief, and watch it like it's part of marvel or something, then you'll probably have fun. but yeah, wasn't into it. great acting though 

weird fun smelly intriguing . creators are cool and sneaky, i mean....i didn't even notice them dressing me into a clown costume while i was watching the finale

female focused plot!

not sure if i can recommend this movie. many disturbingly explicit scenes involving child actors. have no clue how they shot that. i have no maternal instincts, but damn, i'd never let my kid participate in something like that. 

but the topic is extremely important. guess they had to film it this way, to make some changes in the system. still think they went too far. had to skip them. just couldn't do it

damn this movie didn't have to destroy me like that. that plot twist chef's kiss. highly recommend

• what was the point of having Dong Ryong? he barely got any screen time. wish they had developed his story better. absent working parents. parent teacher. neglected kid
• SunWoo was good, too good. SPOILERS!he's amazing but i have no clue why a character like BoRa would want to date a teen
• Taek...they really wanted me to like him.  sorry, him being extremely bad and clueless at anything that wasn't Go wasn't cute. he was like a 5 year old. he's one of those dudes that think girlfriend=mum
• JungHwan was the most relatable and my fav (along with his dad and Dong Ryong). loved how silently caring he was. SPOILERS! didn't root for him because that would be a disaster. he deserved better
• DeokSun. oh boy. i think if we met, that wouldn't go well lol she's too much. but she's kind, so that's good. but also a snitch, which made no sense  SPOILERS! i honestly have no clue how someone as quiet and focused as Taek, or someone as stoic and organized as JungHwan could end up with her.  i liked her friendship with Dong Ryong though, they were equally chaotic.
  also, wtf with the fact that whenever her girlfriends suspected someone having feeling for her, DeokSun would immediately develop a crush on them. ??? in the end, i have no clue if she actually liked any of them. i think DeokSun liked being liked, and not the actual person. girl go to a therapy
  that whole misunderstanding with a pink shirt was so dumb. how d hell are you friends with someone your whole life, and don't know their least favorite color?!

still enjoyed watching this, around 14/15 ep. didn't care about the couples. the vibes were nice. no nostalgy, i was born far from 80's. still could relate. especially to living in poverty, and keeping the same mindset

what's up with these chinese gays and playing musical instruments for each other lmao

insane visual effects, i'm still shook.
the chemistry between straight couple? didn't feel it. the spotlight was completely stolen by the gays, who weren't even canonically gay (well Qing Ming is bi though, he was hanging out with both genders).  China, what's good? 

one thing that kept pulling me out of the story, and it's only my problem, fl looks like Cardi B lol
