Problematic Relationship / ML

FL was clear when she accepted the ML's marriage proposal that she did not love him. He thought he could change her feelings. They are secretive, manipulative and unfaithful. 

The ML kidnaps the FL and threatens her boyfriend and child in order to keep her by his side.

ML is traumatized, manipulative, and treats life-or-death circumstances as a game. He struggles with empathy and doesn't care about his life or others' lives, except for the FL.

ML is married. FL gets engaged to his brother, who turns out to be easily manipulated by his horrible mother and deeply toxic. 

The ML is a manipulative rich boy who lacks / struggles with empathy.

ML initially pursues the FL aggressively while they are both in long term relationships.

The ML falls for the FL while enacting revenge on the FL for a crime she didn't actually commit. 

ML is a sad and messed up rich boy who seduces the FL as part of a bet.

I ended up liking Yuan Zong in the end but the stalking / manipulation / all the WTF moments in the beginning were problematic and made me uncomfortable. 

The ML is problematic for many reasons, including being responsible for the Empresses' death.

One ML has no self-confidence, sometimes behaves in ways that are objectively creepy / uncomfortable to watch, and is not great at understanding the other ML's feelings.

The other ML appears to be a bit emotionally traumatized and not particularly mature about understanding and acting on his feelings. His panic often translates into words and actions that are much harsher than his actual feelings. 

There are four suitors. Three serious ones, all with issues. It's complicated.
