Waiting To Exhale in 2023: Resa's PtW hopefuls

Honorary Listing: This is a finish it in 2023 goal I have had since 2021.  As of 9/3/23, I am up to ep 50.  So not to far to go. Yay Finished the series on 12/30/2023.  

1. This was probably the first reverse harem anime I ever watched and loved it.  Not silly guys desperate for a girl but it is about a hard working brilliant woman, in ancient times, who work with a  host of handsome guys to save and improve their country.

(unranked) This was slated at one point for 2022 so unless it makes an eleventh-hour appearance at the end of the year, I'll be hoping to see this one in 2023.  :: Prays it does not go to the Zhao Ge/Golden Hairpin void ::  Update 8/9/23: I like it but its been months since i paused watching it.  I will get back to it.

2. I gotta get me some Wu Xie when we talking Tomb Raiders!! Yeah Boy.  so all over this.

3-5 not sure which will be first but I'm in for the long haul.  This is another series where I first experienced it in anime.  I did not get to finish the anime but I did love what I saw.

6. Haven't come across a Japanese drama that I wanted to watch in the last few years.  This caught my eye so it's definitely on my list. Updated: I watched part of the first episode but it didn't grab me so I put it on hold.

7. This is a vampire show so i gotta get in my vampire fan girl time when they mix it into an Asian drama.

8. A possible interest but will have to watch to know for certain. n Updated 8/6/23: dropped it.  Just was not interested in the ML and FL.

9. gotta get in some K dramas with my typhoon of C dramas.  I like the twist of historical meets supernatural in Kdramas.

10. K-drama that might be an interesting supernatural story.  So we shall see. Updated 8/7/23:Finished it and it was so worth the wait!

(leaving this -unranked- at the bottom)  I abso-fricking-lutely did not like Arthdal Chronicles and dropped it like a rotten hot potato.  Alas my dear Horatio, Lee Joon Gi is the lead in the second season so as my No 1 beloved Kdrama Male Actor, I gotta give it at least a two episode attempt.  So I'm here, with no so baited breath.
