1. Unforgettable Love
Chinese Drama - 2021, 24 episodes
It's kind of tropey but the kid is CUTEEEE. And it's pretty to watch.
Fun!

2. Goblin
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
A CLASSIC for a REASON.
The bromance, the romance (the ML being horrified by the age gap xD), the secondary ship, also really love the nephew... perfect cast, fun script, beautiful cinematography.
Slice of life that doesn't bore me - rewatchable! :)

3. W
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
I love the meta involved in this one because of the whole "manga male lead finds out he's a manga/fake person, and steps out into the Real World" premise.
This has a little of everything: meta, romance, comedy, suspense, thriller, mystery... even murder. o.o
I think it could have used a bit more intensity or complexity in the latter half. But I really enjoyed the main ship throughout! Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo are awesome~
Rewatchable!

4. The K2
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
My 1st Ji Chang Wook drama! His action scenes SLAY, and are certainly the strongest point in this drama.
As a drama, the plot/s suffered a bit (there are some filler in this one where the show felt a tad repetitive). The female love interest (the Snow White/damsel in distress here) to Ji Chang Wook's ML character is rather 2D (they should have replaced the filler time slots with developing Yoona's character).
I feel A LOT more chemistry between the ML and the main villainess/"evil stepmother." Their dynamic is interesting and stayed strong throughout and is a main reason why I stayed!

5. Tunnel
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
gave me The Time Tunnel vibes xD, but (ofc) with loads of mystery and murders
I really enjoyed and connected with the main characters - all three of them! The first MC is easily likable, while the other two takes more time - a nice development there.
There are some filler in this one - could have used a couple less episodes with the same plotline, or else added another layer or subplot to keep the pacing steady.
Warning re several disturbing scenes feat. the murders.

6. The Battle: Roar to Victory
Korean Movie - 2019
Movie - Tubi free
that climax gave me CHILLS
Rewatchable!

7. Flower of Evil
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
finished in 2023
Sure it made me wonder why I'm sticking around for the first few episodes but I was hooked because of the family~ and it paid off. Because it's Lee Joon Gi.
REWATCHABLE

8. Descendants of the Sun
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
In which I discovered that medical/military slice of life melodramas is not my go-to genre. I think the plot lacked strength and intensity and failed to really compel me, but I was able to connect to the main characters - so that's something. Plotwise, it tries to keep your interest by blending various genres and giving you a little bit of everything, so it's interesting in that way.
The main and secondary ships are very shipworthy. Fantastic acting all around!

9. 7 First Kisses
Korean Special - 2016, 8 episodes

10. The Bride of Habaek
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
~finished in 2023~
The premise is a go-to for me. I wish they'd included more complexity and intensity, however.
Love watching the main leads!

11. Cinderella and the Four Knights
Korean Drama - 2016, 16 episodes
finished in 2023
I got Second Lead Syndrome. BAD.
She should have gone with the arrogant, annoying one who contracted her to go to the wedding with him. I will die on this hill.
There's zero chemistry between the FL and the ML she ultimately ended up with. But all the other characters are great. And I do love the FL - she's strong and funny and down to earth. Good acting all around except from the ML - which leads me to think that he was sadly miscasted, or else the plot was mis-plotted. :P

12. Bubblegum

slice of life, rather thoughtful but it moves at a slower pace
