1. Crash Landing on You
Korean Drama - 2019, 16 episodes
One of the best relationship dramas ever, with great cast and excellent story. Incredible.
Funny, serious, romance, drama, crime, business, it has everything!
Yes I'm a Son Ye Jin stan, but not everything she does is mint, but this one is MINTED!

2. Woman of 9.9 Billion
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
Just incredible drama, excellent twists and turns. Well developed story with very good casting and characters. Odd I started this jst after watching Parasite, and then realized I was watching the same lead actress! wow! I couldn't predict how this was going to wrap, so many interwined stories. You just never knew where it was going to end up.

3. V.I.P
Korean Drama - 2019, 32 episodes
While not a huge fan of Jung Nara, after hearing so many good things about this drama I gave it the green light. Very happy I did so. It was an excellent drama and Jung Nara impressed the hell out of me, along with the rest of the cast. Highly recommend.

4. The Game: Towards Zero
Korean Drama - 2020, 32 episodes
Really good crime drama with interesting premise. While it dragged here & there, overall great watch. Good main cast, and always
had me wondering what would happen next and how it was going
to end. Recommend -
5. 365: Repeat the Year
Korean Drama - 2020, 24 episodes
A group of people who all die in the original time line are all selected to travel back in time 1 year and try to see if they can change the events that lead each of them to their death. But there is a twist. As these people travel back in time 1 year, they must play out their year in different ways and but how are they all connected? Very different and I always was interested in where this was going to the very end.

6. Rugal
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Bionic Top Secret crime fighting unit vs a criminal mafia like organization! Hell yes!
I really liked this one, the fighting scenes were really good & the bionic powers of the team were beliveable and not to super hero like. This had it all for an action drama.
-
7. The King: Eternal Monarch
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
I know they are some real mixed opnions about this one out there. But I really liked this one. I thought the storylines were very interesting and appealing. The casting was incredible. I really liked the parallel universe idea, and how in one universe Korea is under royal rule in the modern times, and in the other it's just modern Korea. No complaints here & one of my favs of the year.

8. Dinner Mate
Korean Drama - 2020, 32 episodes
After Seo Ji Hye's role in Crash Landing Into You, I was eagerly awaiting to see what she would do next. & so here we have it, a simple, fun, relationship, romance drama with just the perfect bit of love intrigue to keep me coming back for more every ep. Nothing to complex here. Easy to watch, easy to enjoy & makes every guy watching want to be SJH's dinner date, lol.

9. Mystic Pop-Up Bar
Korean Drama - 2020, 12 episodes
Caught this one late while it was already airing. Wasn't sure why I started it, but gave it a try.
Unique and clever story with some fantasy elements, good special effects when used and great cast. At times I though it did have pointless & silly moments to waste time but never skipped or missed any of it. Something a little different for a change and liked it.

10. Flower of Evil
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Always up for a good serial killer crime drama. A lovely family of three, with a twist, is the husband who he says he is, is he a serial killer or isn't he? Very interesting drama and every episode keep me coming back for more. Sometimes these crime dramas can drag things out, but I felt this one was well paced.

11. Alice
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
What I thought was going to be a time travel drama, actually is about an alternate universe & time travel. Really good sci-fi drama, if you mess with time it can mess right back with you, not everything goes as you think it will, and the reprecussions in trying to change events leads to very surprising time line shifts. Well written and plotted out, both my wife & I were eagerly awaiting each new episode as they came out. Very addicting!

12. The Good Detective
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Scrolling through Netflix looking for my next kdrama to watch and this one came up in my recommendations. Lucky it did, because I was clueless it even existed. So glad I watched this one. Excellent crime drama, that ended up one of my favorites in the genre recently.

13. Private Lives
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
I found myself lured into this one by Seohyun and the fact that is was about con artists, I tend to like con's and thieves storylines in dramas, so I was interested to begin with. I would say this was very hit/miss, I was frequently noticing I did not mind doing something else on my phone while I watched this drama on tv, so it didn't have that must watch appeal to it, yet I enjoyed it and seen it through and found it clever enough.

14. My Dangerous Wife
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
This was one of the odd one out dramas that I watched even though it didn't have any main stars I really focus my watching time on. You have the story of a wealthy husband & wife and their dark plans to kill each other, but of course with plently of interesting twists along the way. I always wanted to see where this was going and keep me interested. I did feel in places in got to unrealistic with its twists and complexity but was surprised it captured me and found the ending very shocking!

15. Start-Up
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
I'm not sure if I would've watched this drama if it wasn't for Suzy. Here we have a light love triangle story that takes place within the tech industry. On the side you have the career advancement/success story of Suzy along with a trio of guys who also want to have a successful start up after struggling for many years. On the other side of the triangle you have a leader in the startup tech industry who is a big success story. Ratings were mixed for this drama, but I found it enjoyable enough to finish.

16. Stranger Season 2
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
What needs to be said about Stranger 2? If you liked the original, then I do not see any reason you would not like Stranger 2, as it invloves the same main characters and continues their careers in law enforcement shortly after the end of the first season. Bringing a new case that is just as strong as s1's case.
-
17. Stranger
Korean Drama - 2017, 16 episodes
Stranger is an incredible legal/crime fighter drama, a perfect mix of crime, investigation and lawyer elements. Was glued to it throughout with great acting & writing.
-
18. Find Yourself
Chinese Drama - 2020, 41 episodes
My wife started watching this drama, and just in passing I started watching it with her in the first few eps as the actress really caught my eye. When I discovered it was Victoria Song from kpop's f(x) I was shocked,....I heard of her & never followed f(x), so really knew nothing about her. Anyways this relationship love story romance drama won me over & made me Victoria fan in '21 I expect to dive more into a few of her c-dramas and keep a eye on what she does in the future.

19. Imawa no Kuni no Alice
Japanese Drama - 2020, 8 episodes
While I stopped watching jdramas for many years (more to catch up on when ready to restart in 2021). I did watch Alice in Borderland on Netflix and really enjoyed it. My review:
This show can be very confusing. What happened to Tokyo, or is it the world and we only see Tokyo? or have they travelled to or been chosen & sent to a parallel universe Tokyo. 3 guys find themselves hanging out in Shibuya one minute it's normal to next it's a very different Tokyo. A Tokyo that has become the grounds for deadly games of live or die. As the season 1 plays out you meet other characters who are also involved and trying to solve the answers of how to get back to their world, their Tokyo . S2 is coming and only certain elements of the story are resloved in S1.

20. Kairos
Korean Drama - 2020, 16 episodes
Kairos is so twisty, and while it falls within the time travel genre. IT is not about time travel, but two parallel times 1 month apart. It deals with the lives and family/friends of two main characters and how their lifes intertwine and the decisions they make to try to change drastic events in their lifes. Incrediblely complex and involved, brilliant drama.
