Japanese Movies

The first time I saw Matsuzaka Tori was on a cover of a magazine on display at a Japanese library. I remember thinking he was so beautiful that I had to find out who he is. So I asked the staff there and she told me his name. I found out about this movie and immediately ordered it off YesAsia. 

He is brilliant in this film.

I saw this at the Toronto Japanese Film Festival and I met Mikako Tabe!

Becky really stole the show in this film. I saw this at a film festival in Toronto.

The way Mugi has to conduct herself when meeting Kengo's family for the first time was incredible.  A fascinating look at Japanese elite, traditional families and their expectations and views.

So much fun! It's a treasure hunt. Love the, man meets mysterious woman and end up travelling together and teaming up to achieve a similar goal.

It was a movie told in pieces. It went back and forth between different perspectives. You don't understand the story until you finish it. I usually hate vague endings but this one was ok.
