´I Think I´m Turning Japanese, I Really Think So!´

Just a sampling of why I love Japanese doramas the best. The Japanese are all about brevity, celebrating sexuality (No fish kisses here! ) and direct, if not brutal at times, dialogue. Humour is not used sparingly. And that they don't always tie up their endings with a big pretty bow is an understatement. But that's how real life works. I make no appologies for my preference for the physical attribrutes of Japanese actors. They are beautiful. Period. And that's just the men!

Hands down the best BL made to date. The leads are both so engaging they bring truth testi,ony to what gays have to endure at every stage of their relationships. Beautiful love story that is not to be missed. Will likely be award-winning.

An unusual subject matter but the drama makes it work. Watch when you need something totally different about sexuality.

Gorgeous scenery as girl enjoys the attention of three very different brothers during her summer by the seaside. Excellent mindless adventure, but a must for foodies.

Delightful story of a widow raising her child alone. One of the few offerings where Satoh Takeru does not reprise his usual tsundere role. Amen!
11. 30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru rashii

Simply joyful and sweet dorama with two of the most adorable leads ever. Viewers will want witness as many seasons as the writers can dream up. Romance is not dead!

Do not miss if you wish to see the most pure and heartfelt love in a drama to date. Now please, don't let the tumour dissuade you. If you are into cats, you will like this tabby. This adorable couple is a pleasure to watch. Expect your heartstrings to be tugged but good. Kleenex recommended!
