A good revenge story without being reborn.
We have and had so many revenge stories about revenge when people go back in time or get reborn in the past. But I like it better when the character change for revenge by becoming stronger, without becoming a monster. Here, a cheated woman learn the truth about her husband death and wanted revenge. However, love is in the way.
Could disappointment toward her husband and the love that was crushed kept her away from love and only be about revenge? Of course not.
Park Hoon and Lee Hyun Wook are great actor as second role, because the woman in this drama are amazing. Kim Hee Sun as the main character who plays the evolution of her character with grace, Jung Eugene who plays the vilain convincingly, and the most strategic woman in this drama Cha Ji Yeon, who we don't really know who she really is: Good or bad???
Really good drama !!!

You watch the whole series because of only one actor.
I rarely make a review that low. I usually don't comment what I don't like. Yes, Yang Joon Mo is the only reason to watch the drama. He is the cutest guy, and also an excellent actor. His cuteness reminded me of Cho Byeong Kyu in Uncanny counter part 1.The story is... well, inexistant. Two friends separated when they were young, reunited as young adults and fall in love. So nothing in term of originality. The only "drama" was the two other men running after him and that was "flat".
They could have done so much more, and the ending wouldn't fell like an after thought.
The "fiancé" has not role in it. With or without her, the story would have been the same because there is No Drama there either. So, I wonder. Is it just a way for Korea to introduce the new actor Yang Joon Mo or they really just wanted to make a BL?

Best drama, sad ending !
Really this drama is amazing. The story is a bit stupid to be honest, yet you cannot stop watching until the end. Why? well, maybe the mix of emotions you have while watching the story : You can go from laughing one minute, then cry the next. The acting is also fantastic. Kim Min Seok is very cute as the unlucky bad boy and Woo Do Hwan is sexy as usual.
But the trio with Woo Do Hwan, Lee You Mi and Oh Jung Se was very satisfying. A love triangle that is not at each others throat is a change I liked. Usually the want revenge, but here is about love and understanding.
One of the best drama this year!

A story who was badly written.
So, you put two BL actors who are a couple in real lie. You expect chemistry... Well, it never showed. I didn't feel any love between the characters, and even after they slept together, still no emotions. The story was ... blah. Revenge of a ghost who married a rich man, who himself was in love with another man... Not the story of a lifetime. He could have been scarier, with much more drama. Another woman who is living the same life as the ghost, or a revenge of someone reborn... So many things could have made it much better. But they focused too much on the two main characters and forgot what the movie is about. I very rarely judge a BL that low, but I expected so much from this movie. I hope the production will do a better job with their next film "The Next Prince" !!!

Is that the ending?
I first was really into the story. The tension was really high and I was wishing that they will be as much drama as regular drama. But no... They missed the mark by quickly ending the series. I wanted more father-son fight head to head to prove himself. I was hopping that Pat's evolution as a strong man (he's always crying) will be also shown. Gays are not the kind who are crying everywhere, because we never wanna show our weaknesses. I also wished for more between Pat and his ex, and also Jeng and his ex. It was way to flat and could have used more.I think that Tee was too ambitious in this project and took a very complicated drama and cut it short for GMMTV. It's sad because I really had hope that it would be a good one. Everything changed when Pat quit his job. From then, it turned very fast. So fast it makes you feeling upset because you want to know more. When everything was slow at the beginning, it went so fast with so many things at once you loose the plot and interest and just wanna know the ending.
And lets not forget the frustrating story of Jaab and Jane. Not only it was one side story I loved, I also wanted much more from it. But as soon as they kissed, they became nearly invisible. Of course, it took time, but when Jane told Jaab he broke up with his boyfriend, thing could have become a reverse flirt with Jane trying to get Jaab, even if he wouldn't succeed and leave to Japan, it would have been better than just make them dessaper from each other's life. Jaab is so cute, he could have finish by being with Pat's ex, Put. They do work in the same environment and could have been better together at the end, after Jane left to Japan.
And who wasn't exited to see AA again. I wish he was going to be one of the main couples when I saw him, but he's only Jeng's friend and business partner. He could have been Moon's new boyfriend after Jane left him after kissing Jaab.
They missed so many things that it was hard to watch until the end. I do love the cast, and it is not about the acting (they were all fantastic), it is only about the storyline.
Plus, having a very high profile actor like Pete Thongchua to play Jeng's father and Orn Ornanong Panyawong to play Pat's mother mean that is was not a problem of money for this to be amazing.
So yes, I am disappointed. If only GMMTV would give more attention to the story instead of pushing for only short series, it would be good. I do love dramas because it is shorter than US series that goes for years. But when you have a good story, it could also be a bad thing !

Everything was fine, until...
Yes, I did enjoy the drama then, and I re-watched it today and decided that it was time for a review. If you look at the story, it is not the first time traveling drama but it's usually in the past, here it's in the future.
It is cute as its about sexual discovery for a boy born in the 80s and a teenager, Kiao, of the 90s (at the end, we're from the same generation), so is reluctance to accept loving a boy is understandable. Yet, it's 2022 (in the drama), in Thailand and it's more acceptable (again, in the drama). So he fall in love with his best friend's son Bamee who had died years ago. At first, he just want to take care of him like a nephew, but his feelings towards him grew deeper. Some people may think it's creepy, but you need to remember that at the end, he's still a teenager and they're the same age. Plus, even if his real friends are now older, he is still young with no experience . However, he grow during the drama. He want to go back in time, not only to save his own mother, but also to save his best friend (Bamee's dad).
The trouble comes when Kiao tried to go back but got sucked back into the future and Bamee forgets him. To me, this is when Kiao should have tried to change his lover's future as he knew he had to go back soon. He should have make Bamee love someone else. THAT would have been the highlight of the drama. I would have loved for exemple that in the past, Bamees dad would have been in love with Kiao, and that why he got divorce instead of dying and they could have been together. Kioa not remembering his love for Bamee also would have been more logical as he changed the future. He would have been better if he only remembered missing is mother and his best friend.
So, by not doing something more mature and logical, the have chosen to make Bamee (20) meet the OLD Kiao (40) and remember him then AND KISS !!! Yep, that was what many people thought nope, that's wrong!!! First because Bamee has his dad back, second, what would he kiss a guy twice his age, and his dad's friend? And why is Kiao, who was very cute, still single and waiting for his best friend's son? So this was what made us think the ending was so wrong!
If they wanted to make it simpler, they could have chosen to send Bamee in the past and live with Kiao and his mum and make everyone forget about them! After all, his step-mum wasn't his mum and could have had his parents closer to him while growing close to them while loving the man of his dream!
But hey, they didn't ask us what we thought if they choose this ending, or if they should have done something else. For the reviews, they really f.cked up!!!

Missed the plot
I agree with a lot of reviews about this drama. I expected so much from the first episodes and BIM... NothingThey put a lot of effort to build the vilain in the drama, and the back story was great. The fact that Him had PTSD, the fact that Nail was Blue doppelganger, the ex who cheated with a girl... all that could have made a great storyline. But the just denied everything. One episode they fight at the end, the next they already made up from the start, so it's confusing.
And all building the story to have absolutely no tension at the end.... Where was the drama????
Nothing was used and you feel watching episode 11 and 12 that it can't be IT. And you realize you lost your time.
Now, the side stories with Pie, who is doing what Him did to Blue to his new s.x buddy Chao. He tries to become his boyfriend, but he is still close to his ex who wanted to use Pie to make a s. tape for money. That could have been more dramatic, like the violence in "Love in the Air" r.ape scene, but nothing? Chao just caught the conversation, and saw the Instagram and that was all.
It was the first movie made by Wayu Pattharawut, CEO of Y entertainment and director for this drama. But it's not a good start. We had similar problems with "Unforgotten Night" who had great unused potential. Maybe the CEO should focus on making his YouTube Channel and social media clearer and employ scenarists that can actually make a novel better on screen!!!

This is one of the first BL that changed Thailand.
Some ratted this drama very badly. And I will not. First, because you need to discard the remake from 2016 that was really bad. First, because the respect between the original movie from 2014 and the series staring Fluke Teerapat and Fluke Natouch. Before talking about the series, you need to watch the original movie. The story about those two brothers (not blood related) who felt in love against an homophobic father and a society who fought against LGBT during that time (the story is between the 90s and early 2000s).But, while the story is about homophobia and acceptance, this drama 5 years later show the changes over time. In 2015 the LGBTQI in the U.S can marry legally. So, while Golf "died" in 2013 and went to live with his Half-sister in the US, he saw the changes and when he came back in 2018, the wold had changed toward the LGBTQI community. So, this series make sense, and people who rated it so low didn't even try to understand it.
On top of that, if I remember correctly, this was from the real life of real people. (For example, the group Axis, from Gondola Entertainment is where the two characters came from). Look online for more info.

To good to end like this!!!
Ok, so I just finish watching it. It's a bit like an old version of Roommates of Poongduck 304 but in a very comic side but it has what RoP304 missed, like the drama outside the two of them. The side stories are yet not developed enough. It is more turned like a kid show with all the laughter that laughter reminding you of live American shows like Friends or The Nanny. It is not to camp either, so anyone can watch it without feeling like mocking the LGBTQI. The ending is expected as a BL, but it doesn't feel realistic. But, you also can dream that it is possible. Both Earth Thanakrit and Win Songsin are hot (those bodies!!!)
They both deserve to be more in dramas in 2023.
Fallow the on their insta : earth.et and win_songsin

I did watch the whole thing, and it's not as bad as people say !
The drama is about two best friends who havent seen each other for a long time as one, BeBoy, is scared of going far from home in Thailand. On the other hand, his friend Pi, doesn't have dreams of becoming anything, and live in Japan. They argue a lot while showing Japan to BeBoy. During their trip, they met the twins Pan and Plai. Pan is a singer songwriter who plays the guitar. He is reserved and scared of others. Plai is the youngest of the twins. He's more extrovert and came to Japan after a breakup. He love to travel, but the twins admit it's often lonely and scary.Pan and Pi will get closer together, but still keep things casual.
BeBoy had is first time with Plai after drinking. They are close, but they know they can't have a relationship as they live in two different world. Plai is still in love with his ex, even if he has se with BeBoy.
The drama is not about love, it's about finding what you are and what you want by being true to others and to yourself.
It also show that se is just fun, and when you are single, it doesn't have to lead to a relationship as long as both people knows it.
I don't really understand the low ratings. I have seen way much worse BL than this one, and I never rated this low. And worse, people didn't even watch the 6 episodes. Of course, the ending is not an Happy End, but why should every stories the same. They're not students, they are not rich, they have casual sex, they live in the moment... So why are people bashing the drama?
And even so, I think they have chosen quiet good looking guys with amazing bodies.
Kapper and Paapare are use to do very explicit gay sex scene. I mean remember Check Out, well, here it's even more, limit to soft porn. But all the actors are in their 30s, so they know what they signed for. It's also very funny that they're using their real name in the drama. Pan, BeBoy and Plai have worked together in Venus in the Sky and Beyond the Star.
I think people should watch it in one go. It's easier to get into the characters that way, like many dramas. That's maybe why I don't watch until every episodes aired and do it in one go. Otherwise it can feel like reading many books at the same time. How can you still understand not only the story, but also the characters?

Is that the ending???
So, the whole series was very good. People who put under 8 are people who doesn't really like Thai BL.First we have many characters with love stories. The woman have not really any power in it. Even the "evil" woman is not that evil. She's scared of her own son.
BUT you watch episode 12, and you have still soooo many questions without not answers.
It is the only thing I didn't like, the open ending. So, unless they do a second season, you are left with a bitter ending.
The evil person at the end is not the one you think.
If you have watched it, do you think it's the brother So? Is it Sin? Suzy????
I don't know at the end who is the real bad person, because they are all as bad for various reason. Only a few are genuinely nice like Wayha, or Pitch.
In short, watch it at least once. You won't be deceived to know the story.

Another view on Jimin, Jeong Kook and even V was fantastic to watch!
Seeing members of BTS be relax and themselves and being kids again before the army was refreshing.I have no idea why people (or anti fans) could be cruel to them. And I have no idea why people would seen them as "gay"...
Of course, I refer to the all scandal from people before the show was on air, and even during those last few weeks. I'll tell you, from a gay person, that are 3 very straight guys who are also entertainers and best friends. They are certainly very attractive, but definitely NOT gay. Jimin is very much like Taemin from Shinee, the same vibe. But being a cute guy instead of a hot guy doesn't make people gay. Anyway, those 8 episodes were fantastic. Seing V was also very good. He was certainly the more mature of the 3, but could still act like a kid sometime. The vibe reminded me a bit of Youth Over Flower with Seventeen in Italy rom earlier this year. They didn't have chalenges but were able to entertain for each 1h15 episodes. Korean in shows like this are always obsessed with food.
The only point I would make is I didn't really understand why they spent so much on traveling. We barely saw the US (under the rain), Jeju Island (very sunny) or even Japan (snowy). We knew the location, but it was pretty much it. >everything could have been done in Korea and it would have felt the same from my point of view. But hey, Disney has a lot of money to spent, so at least the cast and crew had a very good time traveling while shooting!
Hope we'll get another series when they're back from the military in June 2025!!! So maybe for 2026???
Let's push Disney about it!!!!
