This episode is another winner!Qi Yue invites Lu Xiao for a dinner to celebrate her success of achieving 156th place in the exam. During the graduation ceremony, Lu Xiao leads her to the stage and Qi Yue thanks Lu Xiao in her speech which is written by Qi Shou!Both are slowly developing feelings for each other.

This episode is hilarious.The FL and ML end up in a hospital after an explosion in the ML's home made lab. Nothing serious but this is where Qi Shou meets his godmother. We get a view on Qi Yue's family and how she is treated by her family. A lonely little rich girl. Qi Shou is now her cousin brother who shows a great interest in her study.Lu Xiao is warming up towards Qi Yue.I can't wait for the next episode.

Wow. The story is about a time traveller who returns to his mom's middle school years to change her fate.His mission: to ensure his mom marry her bad luck, Lu Xiao, the A-star student who is an aspiring physicist. The mother? An airhead/ loser who always gets the lowest mark in the school exam.The FL is hilarious and silly but I love the character.

This episode is entertaining.The FL proposes to the ML and explains her situation to the ML.He also discovers that he had known her when they were both little when he is at her place after giving her a lift and taking care of her when she suffered a stomach ache.So, he has a change of heart by agreeing to marry her so that she can take over her father's business.Silly storyline but entertaining.

What would XF do knowing that her husband kills her grandfather which leads to her mom's suicide and her madness?Knowing that she will possibly marry LCY if she goes to the Central Plains makes XF feeling hopeless in trying to make LCY pay for his deeds.What's the best way for XF to forget all tragic events that have occured in her life? Jumping into the river of oblivion seems to be best choice because she believes in the local myth about people being able to forget their unhappy love or tragic event in their life.XF had attempted to find out the truth about the river of oblivion in the first episode thinking Dimo, her personal servant, had forgotten her after drinking the water from the river.XF's naivety takes over once more.

I feel emotional every time I watch the scene where GXW and XF exchange their marital vows according to the Chinese custom.The directo was able to bring the moment and touch the heart of the viewers shows his great directing skills. Another praise to both Chen Xing Xu and Peng Xiao Ran.GXW in that scene really stole the heart of the viewers.One of the best scenes in this series. Simple and yet leaves a deep impression on viewers.

I find this episode is OK but is worth watching as it reveals the true colour of the current Crown Prince.LCY and XF's relationship is yet to reach the romantic stage although viewers are able to see XF's feelings towards LCY begin to develop. Who doesn't if your future husband is the 2nd Prince who has a sidekick looking for so evil next to him 24/7?!!!I find the emperor's decision to let XF investigate about the illegal minting of copper coins to be ridiculous. The Emperor dislikes the harem get involved in the court politics so he drugged the empress to make her infertile. Why would he let XF to get involved in the investigation?!!!

Awesome! I love the part where the female lead tries to employ the male to kill himself.The female is cunning and mischievous and yet the male lead is so prim and proper.An opposite attracts. Watch this series if you are a fan of the Ashes of Love.

The ending was rather abrupt which was rather disappointing. I can't tell if the princess ended up with the Prince. Or, if the emperor had died.But, this series is quite entertaining so watch it.
