absolument magnifique
Cette partie 2 en 11 épisodes cloture magnifiquement cette série. On y trouve un peu plus de politique (historique) mais on découvre aussi l'histoire de certains personnages (je ne donne pas de spoilers) et cela explique pas mal de comportements.Sinon que dire, les 2 acteurs principaux sont toujours aussi sublimes, et les personnages secondaires efficaces (voir ma revue sur la partie 1) !
Il y a une scène absolument magnifique au début de l'épisode 18 qui donne du baume au coeur !

beautiful drama
everything is well done in this drama, the acting, the plot, the music !2 Korea, one kingdom, one republic, and a way to go from one to another world.
The story is very well built, when you re-watch it you see how thorough it is.
The OST is one of the best i know for a series, always a pleasure to hear.
The casting is great, the 6 main roles are absolutely perfect. The chemistry between the FL and ML is good, but also the Bromance between Lee Min-Ho and Woo Do Hwan, and the "more than friendship" relationship between Kim Kyung Nam and the FL. The prime minister is very well played as well.

very nice
it is a beautiful series, a bit like " song of the bandits". the casting is absolutely awesome there is so many good actors even the supporting cast. and the acting is compelling.special effects are good, the pace is ok.
only thing I don't like is the FL character... stupid character, not nice , sour-tempered.
I'll update the review after the last release in January.
it is tough to watch sometimes because the Japanese occupation was very horrible and they want to show it.

very good plot
Imagine 4 gods (cupids) on earth, who have been reincarnated several times, and who of course find people from the past.One of them has been in love with the same woman for 500 years.
Murders follow, with a taste of déjà vu, and our heroes are of course involved.
I enjoyed
-the well-constructed plot
-the ML and SML
-The other gods
-All the policemen
-the happy ending
I didn't like
-the female lead! actresses should read the script before accepting these roles where they're annoying or childish all the time
-The second couple

Good products don't always make good meals
I liked :He Di Wang is gorgeous in this series! What an actor!
The supporting actors are very good
The sets, costumes and locations are very nice.
Episode 31 to 36 are awesome
A great happy ending (see the 36th special on youtube)
I didn't like :
This series is definitely too long! 16-20 episodes would have been enough. It's incredibly slow. I skipped from episode 17 to the start of episode 31 and missed almost nothing.
The main female character is unbearable, poor Bai Lu forced to play a role like this.

Spoiler belowThis is an excellent sequel, the connection with the 21st century is well done. There's never a dull moment. The actors are perfect, and I've just discovered Bae Hyeon Seong, who is excellent! Clearly there's room for a 3rd season, after the credits we see that the virus is put in plastic bottles and distributed everywhere! In addition, the main actors, apart from the villainess, are still alive! And there's still the mystery of the treacherous detective to solve. In short, watch without moderation.

C'est une excellente suite, la connection avec le 21e siècle est bien faite. On ne s'ennuie pas une seconde. Les acteurs sont parfaits, je découvre Bae Hyeon Seong qui est excellent ! Clairement il y a de la place pour une 3e saison, après les crédits on voit que le virus est mis dans des bouteilles plastiques et distribué partout ! De plus les acteurs principaux, à part la vilaine, sont en vie ! Et il reste le mystère du détective traître à régler. Bref à regarder sans modération

very nice
It s a very nice and beautiful series, but we need a second season to watch more the main character Lee Tang, and to enter deeper in his brain.Actors are compelling, the director is good. You have another story at each episode, you are not bored at all.
It s pretty much realistic, without too much blood (i m sad for that)
The 8 episodes format makes it easy to binge ! I recommend !
Spoiler : they can do a second series as the main characters are alive and the Lee Tang is still working !

magnifique thriller !
Un des meilleurs thriller coréen ! On monte en puissance à chaque épisode, les acteurs sont tout simplement excellents, le duo Lee Seung Gi et Lee Hee Joon est parfait.Le scénario est bien plus complexe qu'il n'y paraît, les évidences sont faites pour ne parfois plus en être, les faits ne sont pas forcément si parlants.
Et que dire des bons et des méchants ? La frontière n'est vraiment pas si claire !
Il n'y a pas vraiment de côté science fiction de mon point de vue.
A voir absolument les 2 episodes en plus "prédator 1 et 2" qui sont sur Viki (épisode 22 et 23, l'épisode 21 présente le cast)

I watch dramas to escape, to dream. Why do they always have to have sad endings? It's a shame, the cast is brilliant. The story isn't bad, but there's too much pointless dialogues.On the whole, the characters are well worked out, and we still find ourselves with a second lead syndrome ahah.
With a happy ending I would have rated this 9 .

Stunning !
What a magnificent series! It's based on real historical characters, filmed in a reproduction of the Forbidden City at Hengdian World Studios, and uses huge resources. The costumes, jewellery, ornaments and sets are sumptuous. The characters have real depth and interesting development, and the plot is very elaborate. The most interesting are the main characters, especially the LF, Wu Jin Yan, who plays a very intelligent (the most intelligent) and very fine character. 70 episodes (6 more if you add Princess Adventures) go by very quickly, I binged it to see how she comes out of it (if she does).Spoiler:
The chemistry between her and the Emperor is perfect, she plays with him like crazy. It's so well done that you wonder at the end if she only loved the second lead (Xu Kai) and after having her heart broken, played with the emperor only for her to survive. There's a happy ending between the emperor and her, but we're very sad that Xu Kai didn't survive.

Série très bien faite !
8 épisodes haletants, à couper le souffle !Cette série dévoile au fur et à mesure l'histoire des participants, pourquoi ils font cela etc.
Ce n'est pas une série pour homme-soja ou bisounours, il y des scènes assez gore mais cela reste quand même très supportable
J'ai adoré :
les acteurs : tous excellents et convaincants
les scènes de combat : très réalistes et bien filmées
Le scénario : très bien construit
Le rythme : parfait
La musique : adaptée à chaque moment
Je n'ai pas aimé :
euh non rien !
IL FAUT UNE 2e SAISON !!!!!! Je ne donne pas de spoilers, mais une deuxième saison s'impose !

good for teenagers!
Imagine a bunch of ex-gangsters, all over 30, all virgins (except one), living together... The concept is good, though, former mobsters facing the difficulties of rehab. It's supposed to be comical, but in fact it's comical for children or teenagers, it's overplayed all the time. The chemistry between the two leads doesn't exist, they don't even touch each other, they look like 10-year-olds.The underlying plot is not bad, but not present enough.
In short, a "comedy" for teenagers, saved by the casting and the plot.
Imaginez un tas d'anciens gangsters qui ont plus de 30 ans, tous puceaux (sauf un) , qui habitent ensemble...
Pourtant le concept est bien, des repentis qui font face à des difficultés pour se réinsérer.
C'est soi disant comique, mais en fait c'est comique pour des enfants ou des ados, c'est surjoué tout le temps.
L'alchimie entre les deux leads n'existe pas, ils ne se touchent pas, on dirait des enfants de 10 ans, pas plus.
L'intrigue sous-jacente est pas mal mais pas assez présente.
En résumé une "comédie" pour ados, sauvée par le casting et l'intrigue

fascinating !
After the first part, this is my review : It is without any doubt a wonderful series. You are not bored a second, it is always in motion, the casting is great, the plot is original. All this is made with several tough subjects, and they managed to deal with them pretty well.Yi Jae will face several deadly situations (all of them are original), can he change this ?
Obviously some scenes are difficult to watch but this is the price to pay to have the maximum realism.
Seo In Guk is awesome, as expected, but the entire cast is compelling (always a pleasure to see Kim Jae Wook after Alchemy of souls).
Edit : after the end of the series : it is still great ! I wont spoil, but you have so many surprises lol ! The writers play with our nerves it s very nice !

C'est un drama vraiment intéressant, il démarre sur un patron abusif et méprisable, et puis au fil des épisodes on se rend compte que les mauvais ne sont pas forcément ceux auxquels on pense et que les bons peuvent avoir un plan caché ! Les acteurs principaux sont excellents, notamment Luo Zheng que je ne connaissais pas !Il joue très bien les multiples facettes de son personnage.
Les caractéristiques d'un bon drama sont là : famille pourrie, amis pas forcément amis, relations amoureuses pas forcément saines etc.
En revanche on peut zapper la partie où la mère de l'actrice principale revient, c'est fatiguant.

When an Asperger meets a Psychopath could be the name of this series !It s a wonderful series : Kim Young-Kwang is absolutely wonderful , he is very creepy !
You can not recognized him from " the secret life of my secretary", i think he can play everything
Kang Hae-lim does a great acting job too. She is very compelling in this particular role.
The shaman part is not useful to be honest, you can skip it
this is the first Korean series I see with nudity !
As the entire series is creepy, the last episode is sooooo weird !
