reminiscing my first crush
I was expecting some amazing goofy moments as the synopsis suggests that, all the guys of the group had a crush on the top student. Watching the film is like having a time machine, bringing me back to those days when I was in school. When you get approached by a student who doesn't pat you but pricks you with a pen so that they don’t touch you, slowly involving in your life having little secrets and some amazing selfless acts. Which eventually gets you a crush on the other but as time goes by we make mistakes and time heals them. The only thing which remains is friendship and memories
This movie feels like keeping a reminder of the crush you had in school back then, possesing the title YOU ARE THE APPLE OF MY EYES.
While the opening scene was picked from a climax scene, which holds up the expectation of Happy Ending, but then the next scene takes you into high school with an epic dose of friendship.
this movie reminds me of the English movie American Pie. though this movie an ordinary backdrop with ordinary characters which we see every day, which connects with people so well. They were both young, naive, and incapable of understanding what was best for them. But it's a movie I couldn’t enjoy with my family with excessive naked scenes and p*rn stuff. It did add a humorous aspect with all the crazy BGM, but I won't be able to appreciate it when the other half of the story was so profound and beautiful.
The end was delightful to watch with a realistic approach. That beautiful shot in the banquet hall, even though is imaginary, serves as a bittersweet closure. CRUSH is like a cherished memory, even though we are not with them still we wish them a good life.
