Great start, a bit lousy middle but with meh outcome
Her story is exactly like as every lead of revenge drama has: Death of family member-killer is unknown-desire of revenge-getting ready for mission-undercover (ah this thing is a must)-a lot of killings and action-big disclosure of killer (the ultimate twist)- then revenge is done! so yeah it is the same path as it's always been but just a little change we have a girl... who can fight well.. very well, very very well, and honestly, it's entertaining. It's quite predictable, none of the 'twists' really shocked me or made me "What? Whoa!... or what just happened now?" (maybe there's only one scene as an exception), from the beginning I almost knew who was the real villain.. so the thing is the big revelation isn't surprising at all... maybe you'll end up saying, ah I knew it! so yeah you're definitely getting the satisfaction from your guesses being spot on lol But it's intriguing and story dynamics are interesting as well. I mean who doesn't love to see badass FL, who loves to win every time and is an expert in beating people. So even though it's not the best plot out there but something that'll entertain you.
Characters are one-dimensional and kinda stereotyped, their actions are only as of the story want and what the story needs. Maybe it's the time factor that affects here, we don't get to explore characters well... even the leads, we only see one side of them.
Ji Woo is shown as one man oops my bad one-woman army (literally)... I mean she just kinda fights with a looot of people and never actually loses lol which is quite unrealistic... I mean almost everyone is armed and trained fighters but I don't think there's a need for realism for this kind of drama. She has the ultimate goal for her life so yeah she does nothing else other than that basically no life. She's rash and impulsive which end up making a lot of trouble for her.. but we don't get the cliche personal development thing out of this one lol.. she's reckless till the end. We've our lead character flawed not the ideal or moral one, well this one adds points for me. Han So Hee did a really good job, especially with the fighting scene.
Moo Jin's presence kinda overshadows everyone or mostly it's coz of Park Hee Soon brilliant performance. I truly enjoyed his acting and seeing him on the screen lol.. even though he is well you know. His character was interesting and had more shades than anyone.
Pil Do ah the character to get the story where it should... I wasn't connected to his story, even his backstory was more like, let's make characters having tragic backstories. So just we can emphasize with them, wasn't a great tactic :')
It was going well till it wasn't... coz then they have to add some unnecessary bits, I was literally like... "WHY? this wasn't needed" things are just thrown to you without any context, and we just have to accept it even though they make no sense at all!
Cinamatographically it's good... having that typical Netflix touch. The color palette goes well with the tone of the drama. I loved the soundtrack again this one Netflix thing lol, there aren't many songs only a few but more than enough and perfectly fitting. Bgm was also good, in the start is a bit off, but it gets better with time.
Action: Fighting scenes is the thing I truly enjoyed... they were entertaining and satisfactory lol, not too much but enough.
This isn't out-of-the-box or extraordinary but definitely an interesting watch. I was hooked from the very first episode and never stopped pressing the next episode till the end so yeah quite addictive too, best to binge

The romance that doesn't even need words.
When the journey is more beautiful than the conclusion.Again starting the review unconventionally. Trying to recover from the drama? I would suggest you go watch behind the scenes, and interview where Allen Ren & Bai Lu Rewrite The Ending, it might help.. in my case it did. I'll drop the video links in the spoiler comments below.
Why I used the beautiful word? the outcome is definitely not pleasing. What is so beautiful about it.. in a cinematic way, with mesmerizing shots and locations, it's brilliant! Is that it? No. It has the most beautiful love story, the heartwarming one at the same time most heartbreaking...
The story isn't out of the box, or extraordinary but unexpectedly brilliant when it comes to execution. The dialogues are cleverly written and show intellect for sure! What do you expect from tragedy?
Tragedy (from the Greek: τραγῳδία, tragōidia[a]) is a genre of drama based on human suffering and, mainly, the terrible or sorrowful events that befall the main character. This is what Wikipedia says.
So is this fully tragic, surprisingly the answer comes as no. A tragedy that has some pleasing and many memorable moments.. even sprinkled with a bit of humor.
Though the politics isn't cleverly written (one of few cons) it doesn't matter as it isn't the main focus of the story.
Apart from the main leads, I adored some side characters a lot. The portrayal of friendship and loyalty is what I loved after my favorite love story.
Bai Lu, not just managed to show all emotions of Cui Shiyi through her expressions but also her character development throughout the show.. which isn't abrupt but with different phases, not only does her styling change with time but also how she becomes more mature, sensible. If you observe.. even the way she smiles is different in young age, her body language.. the way of talking or even walking... she even had to learn sign language for that applause for her, the small details.. which are clearly visible when you are fully immersed in the drama.
A lot of historicals fail in characterization especially when it comes to female leads, imagine growing up in a noble family in a strict manner with a lot of restrictions, rules, and regulations with the responsibility to protect clans reputation what would be your personality? clearly not rebellious, arrogant one? Maybe that's why I love Shiyi she isn't badass nor the strongest. She's gentle, caring, sensible, and clever. Her calm nature and temperament might be the polar opposite of Zhou Sheng Chen, but that's what makes them compliment each other.
Zhou Sheng Chen. He is the one who has both beautiful bones and skin.. where skin represents inner and bones represent outer beauty. The righteous general who don't have any ambitions and desires other than protecting and serving the country. Is he icy-cold.. mhmm nope. He's loving, caring, and warm when it comes to loved ones. Maybe this side is mostly for Shiyi.. his most beloved disciple. I loved how consistent his character was... he knows his limits, the boundaries he can't cross. He was flawed, he made some wrong decisions but every decision was worth it... right or wrong.
As always Allen never disappoints in acting. He lived Zhou Sheng Chen fully... where he never actually got a chance to express what he feels through words, but even though you can feel every emotion he has gone through just by looking at his face. The transaction of a general who has no regrets for what he has sacrificed throughout his whole life, to the person who may regret his decision but can't even express his regret or change anything just for the loyalty and his righteous nature. And you can just see through all this through eyes.. no need for words to understand what he's going through. A tear in the corner of his eyes hit more than bawling.
Shiyi and Zhou Sheng Chen my most favorite fictional couple... not just because of wonderful chemistry, their love was purest and heart-piercing. The love that doesn't need words or intimacy... even gaze, the small gesture, the embrace is enough to see their affection. Their eyes speak, the way they look at each other. The most caring and loving gaze, with time it becomes painful. The development between their relationship was natural and realistic.. where you encounter different phases. The age gap is there but not the awkward one, even though it's not physically visible, but an early stage you can see the difference intellectually. And this couple is everything.. they deserve every happiness more than anything.
As I said before the cinematography is just mesmerizing, in the technical aspects its perfection, the camera work, color grading, and even the styling are never disappointed. I would appreciate especially for Shiyi as drama includes different transactions of her life, and those are well compiled with her styling.
The music is brilliant, soothing... and sad, yes it makes you sad, the lyrics, composition everything. It manages to enhance every sentiment.
I had soft corners for dramas that make me cry... yes I'm a bit weird lol. I had a good cry but I'm not being any generous towards rating because of it, it deserves it!
Why re-watchable value is high? I'm sure gonna watch it.. whenever I'll feel my life sucks or I have the worst difficulties. This can be the best consolation, but yeah especially all moments between couple are highly re-watchable.
Hereby One and Only has become my most favorite historical... with my most favorite couple Zhou Sheng Chen who has the most beautiful bones and Cui Shiyi who has the most beautiful smile :)

Cute, sweet but not consistently though!
So it started well of as cute fluffy and very sweet drama, as a very good rom-com, I'll say. Naive, innocent FL and Cold, CEO ML our never-changing tropes of cdrama rom-com. But later it becomes melodrama more than the rom-com well don't take the word seriously not melodrama exactly but sure not rom-com though. As usual, the problem that we see literally any drama. Silly misunderstandings... it doesn't have one or two this drama is kinds filled with them, till this point that I wondered if there's something called 'Communication' exist in their word. I mean can't you just talk with each other, ops but they talked then what's the point with the drama they don't have anything to stretch up other than the misunderstandings.
Talking about the leads and chemistry I kinda liked it but sure not the characters, well FLs character was indeed better than ML still not what I expect, talking about ML I liked him in the first half but there's the limit of jealousy man you can't be like jealous all the time on stupid things. Ah the SFL again don't forget it's filled with cliches so we got bitchy FL which surely the worst character here. The side couple was cute still not a big fan of their story.
So overall it was a cliches average drama nothing particularly brilliant in it!

Not extraordinary but it's interesting.
I really enjoyed this one. It was a wholesome movie with both emotional and hilarious scenes together and it was a good blend of it. It's definitely different cause it first Korean production related to space. As its name suggests it's the story of space sweepers who do the cleaning of space debris in the year 2092. We all have wide imagination of how our future will be and actually they did a good job cause it seems like future. As I said the story isn't extraordinary but it's entertaining. It does have many plot holes and answered questions in the last but we cannot expect to show it all in the duration of 2 hours. The actors did a good job in acting I guess the cast was good for their roles. I would really like to appreciate Park Ye Rin she's such a cute girl and did a great job portraying Dorothy.
The best part is its graphics and cinematography it's the real strength of this. The beautiful scenery and realistic graphics are really great.
Overall I really enjoyed it, don't expect too much from it but still, it's worth watching so give it one chance if you really love sci-fi and space you won't regret it watching.

An emotional roller coaster ride!
It's a heartwarming story that revolves around real life struggles, emotions, relations, family and friendship. It's one the most realistic dramas I have ever seen, there wasn't anything exaggerated. You can feel every emotion and every sentiment. It's just not only entertain but also teaches a lot. It does not have heavy romance but there are many cute and heart fluttering moments. No one is perfect, everyone has flaws and everyone can make mistakes and make wrong decisions sometimes but even if we cannot change them but we can improve ourselves to not make same choice again.I liked the fact that there were no silly misunderstandings, unnecessary breakups and some typical cliches in it. The story was well written and well executed. There were many heartwarming scenes that you'll feel flooded by emotions, I cried a lot not just in one or two scenes but many times I felt their pain, emotions. I love the relationship between father and daughter, the bromance, their trio, there friends. Even if you won't like some character in the beginning but eventually you won't hate them even there decisions were wrong but they had there reasons. I felt the ending was rush but it's only fact I don't like it overall it was a great experience. It is a cute drama that definitely bring a smile on your face.
It's one the best dramas I've seen so far so I totally recommend it to you, you'll definitely enjoy and love it as I did.

It was draggy till the end.
I started to watch this without any expectations thank god I did that, it was disappointing, draggy and I was frustrated till the end. It's as its name story of 'Unrequited love/loves' cause the story doesn't revolve around only one unrequited love. If we just ignored some episode there wasn't anything there I really enjoyed or liked. Definitely can say I wasted my time on this.I really like when FLs are smart/clever I'm no fan of dumb FL at all but wait... it was the only thing I liked about her for me the FLs character wasn't that likable I found some of her actions unreasonable. Talking about ML I know he wasn't at fault from the start but I really hated him whenever he used to be misunderstood I mean man can't you trust your instincts or there's something known as communication it exists. Jiang Bai li her character development was literally dragged to few minutes of the last episode, I mean why did make her character so pathetic I know it's a harsh word but it was indeed pathetic and Ge Bi I really don't want to talk about this character. The one and the only character I liked in the whole show Ming Rui he was a show-stealer for me I really liked him.
It was a frustrating ride for me and I'm devastated now. It's really not something that can be turned out as a pleasure. It was slow-paced and I really didn't like how they just wrapped up the ending.
Not gonna recommend this for sure!

Warning: It's not for softhearted person.
If I have to explain how I felt after watching this drama then it would be 'It was an emotional roller coaster ride which was torturing plus great also...' I know it's weird that how can you enjoy and get hurt simultaneously but it's so true about this drama. I am hurt, devastate, heartbroken, crying my eyes out as I just finished watching it but I can't say I didn't like the drama. This is a tragedy between two star-crossed lovers, this is beautiful yet painful. We don't get all things as we want in life even we became the most powerful and successful people, we get what we deserve, if we choose the wrong path again and again to reach our goal then there is no turning back...this is what the story tells us.
I never hated any ML before.... but this time I couldn't stop myself, the hatred I felt towards ML was more than I ever felt for villains he was cruel, so cruel. So hats off to the actor for his amazing job. There were only two characters I adored in the whole drama were princess Xiao Feng and Ah Du. Despite hate towards ML I liked the chemistry between leads but the sad thing is they got so little screen time together, the cinematography was beautiful. It was a great drama... for the first time I was satisfied with this kinda ending.I cried, cried a lot but it was an amazing journey for me, at the end I was heartbroken but the ending was perfect even I felt bad but Li Chengyin never deserved her and happy ending
So it's definitely worth watching ... It was a memorable experience for me but I'm never gonna rewatch it and gonna hurt myself again, but if you like torture and heartbreaking things this is something you shouldn't miss..

Surely not worth of waiting, but was enjoyable.
Being one the most anticipated c-dramas of this year, and being in my ptw for a long time I expected very much from 'Love Scenery' though it doesn't have any factor which specifically disappoints me there was nothing that could impress me so it was just an average show for me, wasn't really worth of waiting for ages. It was just an enjoyable ride nothing much.In the first episodes, we didn't get anything more than just gaming scenes with 'A big amount of missed encounters'
Story:
A predictable filled with cliches plot. 'Fate' and 'Unrealisticness' bothered me a bit. It was too unrealistic and hard to believe many events. The first half of the drama gives slow-burned romance vibes but later it turns out to be totally opposite. Another thing that bothered me in the plot was unnecessary twists and surprises because it just felt it was just for sake of 31 episodes. Surely plot isn't a key point as it's nothing different than most Chinese rom-com.
Characters:
Lu Jing being perfect in every way possible an ideal ML. Though his character is really good as I prefer more realistic character it wasn't that great for me. But he is mature more than his age but can be rude too sometimes. Talking about Liang Chen she is just unrealistically naive and sweet, to be honest, I'd expected her character to be badass and 'A strong FL.' Not being a fan of any side couples but I really liked leads chemistry.
Pros:
1. Cinematography: It has beautiful cinematography, one of the strong points of the show. The camera angles are perfect though the editing of the first few episodes of the show wasn't that good it gets better. Being good throughout good still didn't impress me in the gaming scenes.
2. Music:Here's a thing which is done properly 'Music' surely suits the main genre as it has. The OSTs and background music, soundtracks are really really. I really love the opening song 'Never Stop' in its rock version.
3. The chemistry between leads is good and they look great together
4. Perfect if you like sweetness and fluff.
Cons:
1. Annoying and unnecessary SML. His character was kind of creepy too.
2. The amount of gaming scenes in the starting become the most boring part for me.
3. The voice dubbing wasn't that good.
4. I've a little problem with FLs acting which feels like really overboard and too much.
5. It's too predictable, cringy and cliche.
6. None of the characters were dimentional
So overall it have both good aspects and bad too! it could have been better in many ways. Still didn't had memorable experiendce but it was fun and interesting ride for me.

A huge disappointment
It was one of the worst dramas I have seen so far. I wasted my time on this that's what I regret most. With the promising and talented cast they messed up the whole story it's really meaningless and it doesn't make sense at all you just get a huge disappointment in the end I watched it due to high ratings but from what I can see the high ratings are just from fans of main lead because the story is a big failureRecommend to not watch this unless you want to waste your time or you are a huge fan of main leads so you can digest anything stupid like this...

Short and sweet!
Aww it was such a pleasant and heartwarming story that there's a still on my face as I just finished it and here to write review so I can convey my emotions properly. It was short in time but not in content, in just 8 episodes of mare 16-20 minutes give you a lot pleasure it's short but properly executed, the cinematography, acting and the music is topnotch. You explore a lot, in every episode you see a different story, different emotion and it's very interesting and fun too watch, I won't spoil you anything but I can definitely assure you that you'll enjoy every minute because of it's uniqueness . So it's great watch I had great time, you won't regret it watching....

Wasn't great.. but a wholesome journey!
It's not like those crime thrillers which will keep you edge of the seat. But yeah it does have thrill and will make you wonder what's going to happen next. To be honest for me it was strong start I was hooked from first two episodes but for me it later lost track for a while but I enjoyed at very last .... so yeah it was good journey for me. But sure been great show coz it had a lots of potential. You need a lot of patience to watch this, it's slow paced thriller in which in many episodes you'll get literally nothing. But it's really good ride to found out the truth. Like you suspect everyone and in the last the you'll get shock. For me some characters were unnecessary and there's no need of them and the side stories of them it made this draggy.
Mystery was one and only fact that kept me watching this I was curious to know what's going happen next. Yeah some thinigs were big shock for me while other predictable. To be honest I'm not big fan of the shows where from the start we get to see leads having grey shade or dark past and make us assume that ahh they can be culprit and in the end it turns 180 degree yep that thing was really predictable here.
Well well well talking about the title of the show it never actually revolves around cheating but yeah cheating plays important role in some aspects. And don't start to hate any character from the start coz there're chances that eventually you'll end up liking them. If you're expecting a wholesome ending it's not right place to find it, it's open ending. Nah I'm not disappointed coz I expected from the beginning that I'm not getting happy ending and as I assumed it left hanging with many unanswered questions.
Overall it was okay not must watch.... but definitely where you wanna know what's gonna happen next.

An amazing journey!
I started to watch it without any expectations and even without reading synopsis... you can say just for time pass, but it turned out to be more than that, such a painful yet meaningful journey it was. There are still tears in my eyes... but I'm sure that it's going to be one of my favorites.Loved the acting Song Joong Ki did amazing work in it, his expressions, his eyes tells us what he feels what he want to talk, it tells that it's not necessary only words can express our emotions... so hats off for his acting. Park Bo Yeong also did great job portraying Sun Yi you can see and feel pain. The execution of story was perfect loved the fact they didn't gave us a fairytale ending because that doesn't happens in real life.
Ending was painful, sad but it was meaningful and perfect couldn't been more perfect than this. I had a great time, I hope you'll also, definitely recommend you if you are not looking for something sweet, cute love story because this isn't it. It's not typical love story but that doesn't mean that it has less meaning rather it's more meaningful that will make you understand many things.

What a waste!
I'm so amused at how I finished this trash, but I did well. And I'm so frustrated at this point. How is this even tagged as romance... there were just bits of pieces of it, which left a bitter taste in my mouth. This tested my patience level every bit... I was waiting for the moment that it would get better. With the character arcs, their decisions, and most ridiculous not needed twists, it almost had nothing good to offer. The main leads were the worst... specially ml, he doesn't have a thing called the backbone, bro can't you just take a stand for once? rather than crying wailing... acting like ahh, I have to do these things for the sake of the greater good, I'm so done with these types of tropes, and the never-ending cycle of amnesias.
The only good thing about it was the side characters... some of them were good and way more interesting than the leads... but no, they were just thrown out of the plot and killed for convenience or I'd say to keep the story going as I don't think they had anything more to offer.
Ju Ying Yi... I'm so tired of seeing her in the same attire, the same makeup in literally everything and the thing is she's not that good of an actor too, to make the matter worst.
The chemistry between leads felt flat, so even with the little sprinkling of some sweet moments, romance was unsatisfying. The flow of the story was inconsistent. They had all the bad cliches of all xianxias I've seen till together I hated what they did with the ending... so in the end everything was for nothing?
Never thought my review after ages would be a rant but here you go... I guess all I needed to relieve my frustration towards it! And you better not watch it for your own good.

No female programmers, just coz one messed up hard in the past... now just think of scenario vise-versa if it was a male programmer, then what? no male programmer rule, I don't think so. And I know this mentality sucks.. as the drama.
One might think...'Cute Programmer' is cute, sweet fluff, but other than having a cute programmer there's nothing cute or even much programming. It's rather more frustrating and torture.
The first thing that got me to take interest in drama was cross-dressing and as a fellow fan of the gender bender trope, but it is merely there like 1/5th part of the drama, and it's not the only reason for my disappointment... it is poorly done as if they didn't even put any efforts... this girl with eye-liner (clearly visible) full makeup disguises as a boy... wow I mean just wear short hair wig and baggy clothes there you go, you're a boy! Which company out there recruites employees without any documentation only on the resume? what a lousy management team from an IT company.
Okay she disguises herself as a boy (even when I'M GIRL is written all over her face), and then she takes the advice on how to behave like a boy... from a friend who is the girl (if you have watched plenty of dramas then you, of course, know what kind of 'advice' leads get from their friends lol xD here the problem was supposedly 21-22-year-old girl don't know how boy behave. I mean she doesn't have any encounter with any boy in her life lol... now on this subject, throughout the whole drama it is almost bombarded female programmer is once in blue moon thing, so I assume she must have the majority of male classmates during her college days... and in those 4 years, of course, she doesn't do anything other than studying right? that's why she doesn't know how boys behave.. #dramalogic
The story is pure trash, and definitely not made for 2021... too old, tropey, and torturous, sometimes even challenges morals. The thing is being sooo stupid and illogical, things just don't make sense wasn't the only problem... I've good endurance illogical or bizarre plots but when characters are messed up then... it's a big NO.
Lu Li other than being smart (only book smart lol) and talented in programming she is no different from our female leads in cdramas super naive, gullible, innocent... sometimes even worse. She doesn't even have self-esteem or confidence. The fact that makes me annoyed by her was for-no-good-reason she's head over heels for our male lead (who isn't even likable let lovable aside) not to forget... she loves him for a long time, now taking consideration of out MLS persona, one might thing... he must be saved her life or did something magnificent that made Lu Li blind in love, pff, no there isn't any blockbuster backstory lol, and her love or obsession towards him doesn't make any sense.. honestly shallow as he has no other qualities than being smart and handsome... I want to scream girl get a life! every time I see her lol
Yi Cheng.. ah what can I say, unbearable? his attitude sucks, even after brain wrecking I couldn't find a single thing that I like about him. He is just so childish, stubborn, rude-arrogant for no reason dude... He gets on my nerves every time he appears on the screen. He is so narrow-minded...if you're sensitive then you might get super irritated by his homophobic behavior in prior episodes.
Well, their actions make me want to punch on their face, as both characters are stupider than high school kids. I know there's nothing wrong in having a high IQ with very low EQ or not being street smart even if you are book smart... but at least give them some maturity lol, their mental age and decision-making ability aren't even par to their supposedly high IQ brain.
Where leads were more than enough to annoy me to death... voila! don't forget our bitchy sfl whose life purpose is just to destroy leads relationship, as if she doesn't have any other purpose for her life, not to forget zero consciences. Of course, her action makes you wanna strangle her. Not to forget she gets plenty amount of screen time to make our blood boil.
Even leads are poorly written what can we expect from supporting roles lol, Yi Ming is like stereotype sml flooded with all good qualities.. apart from all the mess I do appreciate the fact they didn't create a love triangle thing with Yi Ming and let him just be a good friend for Lu Li, though I wish him to run away from Zitong every time coz she is just so noisy, annoying and clingy, their story didn't make me interested coz Zitong almost forced herself onto him.
The story sucks, characters suck more... ah now just little expectations from acting. Zhao Lin is a master in such roles coz he's just the same as his past roles before... maybe a little more annoying. So I wouldn't say I've encountered his extraordinary acting skills. Oh gosh it was hard for me to endure Bambi Zhu's acting apart from her silly, poorly written character, she just can't act... even in emotional scenes I can't feel sadness or any kinda feelings from her, I also don't like when she uses weird smile during sad scenes I'm sad inside but wanna show I'm happy scenes, it gives me chills. Acting is on par level... can't save this sinking ship.
In this whole mess who bothers to concentrate on music with being busy in ff lol I didn't even notice any other song other than the intro. The production quality is okayish but the last episode's green screen was meh.
But surprisingly I stuck to it till the end... yeah just for sake of ranting about it, but this ridicules sometimes a bit vibes of makjang, can be entertaining in the purpose of bashing or making fun of it... coz it was a pleasure to write this whole rant xD

So, in short, I'm not satisfied.... but it's not anyone's fault just I'm too demanding lol as it's already satisfactory sometimes even more than enough. Not only does it manage to provide great romance, but awesome friendship with some really interesting entangled relationships.
I laughed, cried... I cheered. I was glued to the screen finding myself emerge in the race though I knew it's not even real and who's gonna win is predestined. It was the characters' and whole premises that made it feel so real. Not being very familiar with some technical sports terms didn't affect much (not well explained in the drama itself)
Story is nothing ordinary but characters is what makes it more interesting. It's not all-time sport-oriented but it is when it's needed. Romance is a slow burn: it's slow and burning... but very soothing and refreshing, even when they aren't officially together the time they spend with each other is precious with many 'Oh gosh, this is soo sweet' moments. The romantic development, the relationship dynamics are natural and very relatable. The thing is everyone is just so cute here... even the second couple, me who likes to skip the second couple all-time found myself rooting for them and taking interest in their story.
Friendship, sportsmanship, teamwork have big roles. The mother-son, father-daughter, mother-daughter dynamics are cherry on the top, sprinkled with some frenemies. Have to say I love Zheng Yi's dad wasn't a moment where he didn't make me laugh. Comedy is on point: not bland, not over the top, not cringy. There are many comedic peak points. There are some annoying, at a times very annoying characters... but with many likable characters, it gets balanced up.
My first time seeing Song Zu Er but I'm sure it's not last, I'm sold for her performance. Song Zu Er isn't conventional beauty... but she has that unique charm in her. Zheng Yi was tailor-made for her, coz she just perfectly portrayed her liveliness, cutesy, silliness, maturity, breakthrough, her setbacks. Her acting was really natural: she was just like any other 18 year adorable girl. I'm quite familiar Wang An Yu, and he's perfect for such roles.. a confident, sweet, cheerful, little (?) narcist young guy. I can't see Bei Sheng without Wang An Yu.
I absolutely adore Zheng Yi: her spirit, cheerfulness, hard-working nature. How mature she's for her age but same time silly as any teenager. Bei Sheng is the sweetest chocolate boy.. though there is some moments 'Boy why don't you get it but very few. Zheng Yi and Bei Sheng are cute little puppies, they rock even their bickering/fights are enjoyable, they have oozing chemistry with overflowed cuteness, it's THE couple where cringy moments aren't cringy... cliche isn't cliche as they just create such refreshing environment. There's only one little rough patch between them but apart from it... it's the healthiest relationship.
I was emotionally invested in characters as their stories never felt superficial.. apart from leads, leads relationships with other characters, subplots were interesting enough.
to sum up you get everything: Romance, comedy, friendship, a little slice of life, family, excitement, and the cutest couple that you want more and more...
