What the heck??!!
The trailers looked good, the kissing scenes looked good; both leads looked good!! Unfortunately everything else is NOT!! Lol...Poor poor plot and storyline. The scenes seemed disjointed and no continuity in the storyline. The editing is sloppy and the production is B-grade. Side characters were annoying and lacked any depth. Voices are all dubbed.
The ML fell in love at first sight with the FL, but she has some issues with her past and some psychological problems. She keeps rejecting him, but he’s like a poor forlorn puppy that continually throws himself at her feet.
Dropped at Episode 8. Don’t waste your time on this one. Next ;)

Nope... definitely not a 10
I don’t know why so many reviewers are giving it a 10??! Maybe because it’s quite artsy? Yes the production and quality is quite good. I liked how the drama showed the audience how visually impaired people live their lives and get an education. But unfortunately the pace of the story’s development was too slow and boring. I understand that the ML was cold and cut off because of his past etc, but his acting was kinda dull and mellow for me. I wasn’t too keen on FL WanPeng either, the way she carried herself and I felt like she mumbles a lot.
Honestly wanted to finish this because the other reviews were so good, but nah. I just skipped WAAAYYY too much. Gonna move on to the next :)

Very relatable… and yet so draggy!
Everything in this drama is relatable- especially if you’re in your twenties, a working adult trying to survive on your own in this world. The basic plot of working, trying to climb the corporate ladder to earn more money, get a higher position, buying a house, getting married etc.. it’s all included in this storyline. BUT.. the pace of how it’s unfolding is SO SLOWWWW ;) Could have probably finished the story in just 10 episodes. I’ve been watching the whole thing at 1.5x speed ;):)
There’s the office politics, workplace discrimination, society standings discrimination, family background discrimination, education discrimination.. and the list goes on. It’s really sad if this is all true in Korean culture. One of the side characters broke up with his ex of 4 years, to marry someone of his “social standing” and immediately had an affair w his ex because he just couldn’t get over her. Why marry in the first place?
The chemistry and intensity in the leads relationship is very evident though, and I like it. Very very slow burn, but we get a really good kiss scene at the end of Ep 10 ;) At this point, I’m wondering why don’t they just get together already?? Whatever was stopping them before doesn’t seem that important now. Both leads decided to start relationships with other ppl, but it turns out those were not working out either! It’s interesting because this main relationship is not your typical fall-in-love story, but rather is them cheating on their respective partners (although for me I don’t find it cheating really. )
Let’s see how the story unfolds. I sincerely hope they have a happy ending :)
Update: just completed this. The last 4 episodes were terrible. It was a drag and painful to just complete it. What started off as 7.5 has now dropped to a 6. I wouldn’t recommend this drama. Too complicated and a waste of time

Reminds me again of CLOY :)
Highly recommended watch!! It’s got people from all ages- grandmas conversations, town gossip, the divorced couple, the nosy and loud lady, the retired musician/ single father, the pregnant lady and “no-good” husband, the kids... and then you have Hong Du-shik <3<3<3He is such a dream!!! Kim Seon-Ho played his character extremely well!! With his Okay! Cool and Thankiew!!! So adorable ;);) His smile and his dimples will just melt your heart. His chemistry with Shin Min-Ah is off the charts! I know she already has a bf, but on set they look so comfortable and cute together :) Relationship development was done so right! (Spoiler: and I just loved the proposal scene!!! Soooo cute!) Love triangle was also done well and the bromance between the two gentlemen was friendship goals.
I admit I did skip some of the town gossip lol... it was just a tad blah blah... too loud and too naggy hahaha. Towards the end you will have your typical Kdrama cliches- the past is revealed, lots of crying moments, but the ending was done very well, nice closure to it. You will also see Cliche coincidences, just don’t mind it too much.
The one criticism I will give is Shin min-Ah’s dressing on set. It was horrible in my opinion! (Spoiler: especially the green dress she wore for Chief Hong’s birthday! WHAT WAS THAT??? For someone who can afford Dior and expensive shoes, please dress better!!) Most of her dresses looked like grandma’s table cloth (sorry!!!)
A wonderful, feel- good rom-com!! I laughed a lot, cried a lot, and replayed the romance scenes a lot! :) :) :) GO WATCH IT NOW!!

Nothing happy about this ;)
Don’t get me wrong, this is actually a very good watch. Just didn’t understand why the title was “Happiness” when the drama is about an infectious disease?!I don’t usually watch or like zombie/ mad person/ infectious disease kind of shows, but this one was a refreshing break from the too many rom-coms I’ve been watching. The storyline itself is nothing new. An infectious disease is spreading, government is trying to cover up, people are turning against each other in order to survive etc.. there are characters whom you will love, and some annoying pricks whom you just want to gorge their eyeballs out LOL.
Both leads have very good screen presence. There is some action and a little chemistry and romance... but they focused mainly on their character development and smart survival skills. The music also very good, gets your heart racing and pumping. A few good scares, jump at the screen kinda scares.. some are predictable.
Definitely a good watch. :)

Gong Jun could not save this one :(
Really disappointed with this one. I like Gong Jun but it seems his dramas of late have been received poorly (The Flaming Heart was bad too!) I also like the FL also from Gank Your Heart, but this drama just could not hold up.The storyline is bad... no real essence. They are in the uni cafeteria , the bullies are having a fight with the ML and friends, and then suddenly the whole cafeteria breaks out into a dance battle. LOL... I mean, what’s going on??!! The editing is sloppy, there’s no continuity in between scenes.
Just give this one a miss. Next please :)

Had great expectations but sorely disappointed
Maybe that was the problem- I had great expectations. Two big stars like Luo Yunxi and Victoria Song, but unfortunately it was a let down.First 10mins of Epi 1 was like, “Whoa!!” Wow, looks promising. Subsequently it got SO BORING. It had a lot of research talk, and the supervisor and colleague trying to oust the FL; and it was great that she knew how to handle herself and came out victorious. But I was just skipping way too much, and the story just failed to interest me.
Sorry, thought I might actually come back to this cos other reviewers had good reports, but I think nah. Moving on to the next ;)

Unfortunately too boring
The base storyline is interesting. A cold emotionless CEO gets into an accident and has amnesia. The woman who saves him pretends to be his fiancée so her company can close a deal in his absence. Interesting right??Unfortunately the execution of it was too dull. They tried to make it funny, but it wasn’t. They tried to make it tense with bullying, but it wasn’t. I already skipped quite a lot in the first 3 episodes, so decided to drop this. Don’t know how other reviewers gave it 8/9 lol.

Strange but quite a good watch
This drama can basically be divided into three sections:First section- episodes 1-9
This was bad.. the ML is your typical CEO, using his power to manipulate and mess with the FL’s career.
Second section- Epi 10-19
The storyline gets better, and now it’s clear the ML likes her, but I don’t understand why she’s hot & cold towards him? She will try to seduce him and when he tries to kiss her, she runs away? This whole vibe between them I found weird and strange, just couldn’t understand what the writers and producers were trying to achieve.
Third section- the rest of the episodes. So yes they get together, but they break up for about 5 episodes. Again, I couldn’t understand why, I mean yes the reason was because she used him for her revenge, but was it even that? I didn’t even get that in the beginning episodes. Maybe I missed it cos I did fast forward a bit here n there lol.
Anyhow, it’s not your typical romance relationship development, but the chemistry is pretty decent. Visuals of Dylan and Bailu are definitely on fire! I actually prefer the 2nd couple, but they didn’t have much screen time. 3rd couple was mediocre, boring development but Miles Wei was hot lol. Quite a few big stars in this drama, but I don’t think the storyline held up to expectations.
Should you watch? Yeah.. give it a go. Just keep an open mind and ff the boring bits ;)
