NOT CALM!!! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT ENDING!??! I NEED SEASON 2, RIGHT NOW!!!
I without a doubt loved this show.... which is crazy to me because I never planned to watch it. Mostly because the whole concept screamed "Inside Out" to me and I'm not really hip to the whole coattail thing, but I gotta admit, they did a amazing job with this and I'm obsessed with all the cells! Hunger cell is my purly my reason for living. Lol
I remember seeing a post (that I really wish I could remember what it was about) and it made me more curious about the show than anything and I thought "eh why not" so -- I looked it up and only intended to watch a few minutes of it just to see what the hype was about.... It quickly turned into a binge watch black hole. Lol I mean, when your opening scene has a shirtless Minho, who in their right minds can turn that down? LOL!!!
But in all realness, I get it now. This show -- I have no words. Least none that cover how mind blowing awesome it was.
If you saw any of my updates, you know for a fact, I want to fight Woong and Sae Yi should maybe meet her match of the white truck of doom. I SAID WHAT I SAID!!! These two drove me up the wall with madness every time I saw them.
Yumi really didn't deserve everything Woong put her through. And gosh damn they needed to learn communication. Why is it so damn HARD to open your mouth and be like "hey we need to talk about some stuff"? or just be honest. Sheesh.
Let's just say this, the second he said "I can't lie" -- you knew, we all knew, that was a damn lie and a red flag straight from hell. It was like a ominus bell of doom the moment he said that. Not saying Yumi was perfect, but she really did try. Even when she kept getting sus over Sae Yi, Yumi really self sabotaged a lot around that time but I'm glad in the end, she talked to him about it. But I'm more pissed that he defended Sae Yi literally till the last moment. I get friendship is strong and everything but come on... you know damn well what she is doing and how she feels. It's insulting to Yumi to play the way he did. "I was handling it" pshhhh my ass!!!
I still have mixed feelings because when Yumi and Woong were happy together and had those great moments, I would forget how much I hated him.... of course, it would quickly get squished when he would pull some shit again. It was like a yo-yo constantly. back and forth and every now and then a trick would have you spinning around, then back to back and forth. Lol
I really hope next season we get to see more of Minho and Jin Young's characters. Which I feel like we will see more Jin Young, but not sure about Minho. Kinda want to see where his love life will be going. Lol Though can we all agree it's a little weird Minho's character and Yumi's ex kinda had the same character name (Ugi/U-gi) lol
I would even love to see where Ruby will be headed in the story... mind you, I couldn't stand her at all through most of the show but close to the end she grew on me a bit. Not sure why. Either way, if she is in season 2, I hope she grows up a little.
I think I have blabbed incoherently enough X_X what I'm trying to fully say is, if you're curious about this show, WATCH IT NOW!! Trust me, the cute cells are totally worth it and are what made this show what it was (for me). Can't NOT love hunger and lust cell. lol -- I seriously want to see other character cells in season 2. (that sounds weird to say hahaha)

From the start, I was instantly hooked and was glued to the screen waiting for new episodes. Even though I feel like the show was mostly character driven, I really did enjoy the show. I loved all the characters as well. Even the ones I wanted to fight half the time. Lol I loved seeing the guys go from these kinda cold guys to being really amazing people in the end.
But that ending. Good gah.... I feel like the writer just gave up with that episode. I can't be the only one that thinks this. I really expected this huge thing to happen because through the whole show, you just had this feeling it was going to end with a bang, but in the end -- it was flat and anticlimactic. It's one of those moments where you just sit looking at the screen like "......what? ...... that's it?" you keep waiting for the next scene to happen but it's like "nope. peace out" Lol. Honestly it's the main reason I needed to rewatch this show but I thought I might have missed something somewhere that would help me understand why it would end that way. But... Nope.
UNLESS they plan to have a season 2? I freaking hope they have a season 2. How, I don't know. But it needs to happen or something to give the viewers some peace of mind. Because I feel robbed with that ending. Lol I really do.

I had zero intentions on binge watching this WHOLE thing the way that I did. As I watched this, I realized through updates... a lot of people hated this show. Lol Which is sad. I thought it was REALLY good! But then again, it might just be because I'm Dori Sakurada biased. Don't hate me. Lol
But I think it also helps that I watched Good Morning Call first. I know this has nothing to do with this show but because I seen Haruka Fukuhara in GMC, I know her acting is a bit... bland. But when it came to this show, it was her advantage. Coming from a shy person, I know damn well this is how I act around a guy I like too. Lol. Not saying I'm proud of it, but saying I can relate.
Now here is where I'm sure people will come for me. This really gave me 50 Shades of Grey vibes. Like a lesser/non bondage version. Which make me think those that hated 50 Shades, will probably hate this show, and those that liked it, will probably like this show. I could be completely wrong though. Lol I just get those vibes from it.
I loved the story. I know it had it's issues and for the most part could be labeled a mess. Mostly because it focused more on their relationship rather than a actual story... but I still enjoyed it. But I get it. I just hope if they ever redo this show, they keep the original cast. I would love to know more about each character's back story. Especially Hiroto. You are told throughout the show that he has a dark past and people want to tell Risa but she always says she would rather hear it from him. Which again, I understand... but I wish she had brought it up and fully asked him about it. Especially since she was put in so much danger throughout the time of them being together. It leaves it like a open ending which is a bit annoying.
I must say for the first time, I like the FL this way. Usually when a FL is loved by all but ditzy and timid all the time, it gets extremely annoying -- so I get the frustration people have. But to me, something about it just seemed to fit perfectly. But I also loved that even though Risa was hella shy, Hiroto was very patient with her and attempted to bring her out of her shell a lot which I find extremely respectable. Lol sometimes shy people need a dom to help do that. (don't come at me for this, I'm saying what I know and feel).
This says a lot though because I really didn't like her in GMC so for her to play this so well and make me feel like no one else could play this part as well as she did says a lot, imo.
Can I talk about Yuki for a second though? The man had all my respect up until he pulled that "I'm moving in and about to fuck all your shit up" mess. I know he had his reason but it literally made me hate him by the end -- even though he explained why and stuff. It's just a hard no for me. To many people got away with assault in this show for my taste. While I know Hiroto showed up most of the time, I wish more could have been done. Now mind you, even her friend was a bitch. Like I get it. You see this hot guy and instantly simp. It's Dori Sakurada, I don't blame you. Lolol but to sit there and be like "you know what, let me date him one time, he might not even like you" is some absolute bullshit. How are you going to call someone your best friend and pull that shit? Then not only that, date one of the guys that assaulted her at one point? Excuse me while I vomit.
This show is a hit or miss for a lot of people and I can see why. But it was a hit for me. I loved it. And it also showed a new side to a few actors that I haven't seen before.

Other than that the start of the movie does start out really dark and by dark I mean gosh damn what was the point of that? People are hella heartless. The storyline itself was very fast paced and left little room for breathing.
For a movie that was over a hour long I feel like it was over in the blink of an eye. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing. And while I can't stand a trashy ass homewrecker and a cheater, I don't think she deserved what happened to her. Dude that was seriously cold blooded. Which leads me to say, that ending... That's how you get stuff like the grudge. Thanks but no thanks.
Man I hate how there was no justice. If you really think about it... Which is oddly respectable too though because it's more true to real life. Not everyone gets a happy ending. Not everyone gets justice.
I realize this review is really terrible. Even as I write it, I'm like "wow this sucks". but y'all... It's been a hour and that ending still has me SHOOK! like... What the actual fuck. It was so dark and I'm still questioning, if that was her at the end... then who was the girl at the start of the movie? If they weren't the same, why was the first girl even shown? I have to many questions!

Even at 2x speed through over 80% of the show, it still felt like it just dragged by. I felt zero connection to any of the characters. It's such a weird feeling. I wanted to drop it so many times but kept telling myself "no, it'll probably get better soon!" Up till the last episode, only for me to stare at the screen wishing I had never started this show. Lol
Like I said though, it's weird. Because the storyline itself was really good and I don't hate the cast, but I feel like maybe the pace itself is what completely ruined this show for me. I'm sure they meant to build the suspense but... that was a terrible fail. It just made me more annoyed than anything else. The point of suspense is to blow your mind in the end... kinda hard to blow someone's mind when they see what's coming 3 episodes before the characters do. There was zero mystery to this show and was pretty easy to figure out which was a huge disappointment.
I *did* like the ending though, I thought it was cute and sweet but lacked what it really could have been because to me, the characters still feel like strangers with each other. There was no character building, there was no relationship building.
Well no, I take that back.... The thug and the restaurant owner; I saw them getting closer and thought it was cute but I'm still lost as to why focus more on side character building rather than main character building. Not saying they should be all lovey-dovey, it was fresh to see a non-romantic outcome for once, but ---- they were just so cringy and awkward around each other. Not to mention the pushing and pulling away, she needed to pick one, it got old fast. It was like watching preteens trying to figure out life. Lol
I just feel like this show could have been a lot more than what it was. If there is a season 2 like they seem to kinda hint at, I hope it's better than this one.

This was soul sucking.
Please keep in mind this is how I feel and you don't have to agree or disagree. It's just my brain rambles. They used Leo. Yeah, I said it.
Without him, I'm almost sure this would have completely flopped. no one would have talked about it. But the moment they said Leo would be in, we all(?) fangirled. We hyped this up so hard and couldn't wait to get our hands on it.
We were expecting this gourmet meal but got served dirt with worms instead. -_-
The storyline was a shit show of a mess, I admit, I still don't even know why Jung Woo was hated and blacklisted. The moment the show started, apparently we were already supposed to know. Cuz hell, it started in the middle of the show. It was awful writing and lacked in EVERYTHING. I also feel like this was a bromance but sprinkled with BL dust to keep viewers entertained. The connections were static. I'm sorry. >_<
They did my man Leo wrong though. They really said "we need your talent!!!...... but make it robot."
Through the whole show he had 1 emotion and voice flat af. You could see moments were a emotion would actually slip out then he seemed to have to correct it real quick to go back to his flat look.
*punches air angrily*
Was he the villain or wasn't he?!!? They sure as hell didn't really clarify that either. Did he really do that to keep his bf down or did he really and truly thinking its what was best?
Now if we can all agree the actual villain was the pos book company guy. Oh and Tae Young's friend. Man really went "I'ma quit and work for these backbiting shitty people"
I don't know. I just know I expected so much from this and it was awful. I don't ever want to watch this again. Lol

R.I.P my soul
Is this the part where I admit this show starting from episode one made me nearly dive behind my couch in fear screaming "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!"I finished this show the other day and I can honestly say I still have no idea what to say. My brain is clearly static noise of insane fangirling. I see a lot of people liking it, and just as many disliking it. Still not sure how you can hate this show because of the "bad CGI" ekrhgerhreiue WHERE?! Lol Okay okay, I know, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Guess my inner fangirl just doesn't understand. Lol I thought everything about it was fantastic and had never been done before, honestly. I mean I'm a huge horror buff and this is the first show I have ever had made me actually scared. Okay, I'm sorry but that thing from episode one took me by surprise and I'm almost sure I'm sitting here as a ghost not realizing that scene actually killed me. Lol O_O
I don't think there was anything I disliked about this show because it really showed what I think the end of the world would be like. Not to mention, they covered every type of person and that takes a lot of skill to put all of that together in such a small place. And can we please talk about the setting!? They used one building through most of the show and made every episode unique as hell! THAT IS TALENT! The writers, designers, actors all deserve awards. lol Even the ones I hated with a passion (old abusive man, I'm lookin at you - freaking hated this man's character so much)
While I still have a lot of questions -- I'm sure I'll never get answers to, I really did love this show. I'm actually really shocked because it's rare that I see a preview and think "Holy crap I can't wait to see this!!" and it actually deliver on being as badass as they show in the previews. This show delivered and went WAY beyond my expectations. I can't wait for season 2! (I really hope we get it soon. Lol)

9 stars because I'm biased AF. Don't come for me, we all have our favs. The storyline itself had great potential. And honestly as it went on, you know you can't help (least I couldn't) but to think about the actual behind the scenes of K-Pop. It really made me wonder how many groups have been through this because either "me me me" co-members or the "I made you. I can break you" companies. Because lets face it, stuff like this happens every day I'm sure.
Off that topic, there were a lot of parts that didn't make much sense to me? I would slow down. I would rewind. I would go way back on more than a few parts wondering if I had missed something -- (I hadn't.) -- and eventually I just gave up and started to go with it in hopes it would be explained later (it wasn't) - but whatever. It was a quick watch and I enjoyed getting to see Hyung-won's complete savage side come out in so many scenes. If you seen No Mercy, You KNOW this brought back some memories.
I feel like everyone did a amazing job with their parts and really wonder if there might be a season 2 (not holding my breath) but who knows. Lol

I'm not sure what i expected from this movie and i suppose it really doesn't matter because no matter what i expected, it would have been blown away. LolAwakened Demon is definitely on my top 10 of 2021. There was nothing i disliked about.... okay, maybe one thing. That it ended. I wish I could see this in show form now. Anything to keep it going a little while longer. Lol
I loved all of the characters... except the douchebags. -_-
Is it me, or is it always the people in "heaven" clans that are ALWAYS the bad guys? They claim to be better, know better, do better.... but even now they call Red Boy a demon and I'm like why?
Because he fights? Everyone (especially males) fight! Lol what the hell. I don't get it. He's never given a reason why they call him that. Just because "he is a demon". Yeah no, that won't cut it for me. Lol and his parents? Okay? He's still his own person and has never given you a reason.
That did bug me a lot but I'm glad it worked out in the end.

If there was something I could say about this movie was that it was real. It was raw. It was truth. No matter the year, era, generation.... Somewhere someone is going through this and it's fucked up and sad.
I loved (if even for a moment) that happiness he had and newfound strength to stand up to his brother...
I actually would love to see this movie get turned into a full length/show..... preferably with a happy ending that he deserves.... even if life isn't all rainbows and happiness, I wish he could have that.
Now excuse me while I go cry.

I heard about how amazing this movie was from a couple of people. Okay, tiktok. I heard it on tiktok. But when you see it's on numerous people's lists of "must watch" - you can't help but to think "Oh this is going to be such a amazing movie!"
*Insert Jim Carry freaking out in Liar Liar*
You know the saying "One million people can't be wrong."? ... Well... this group of people can be. Lol Okay, no, they aren't wrong. That's just me being a dick. Lol they really aren't wrong. The movie isn't bad. It just wasn't my thing. I feel like I should have been on drugs to watch this movie.
It's just hate being confused, y'all. With a freaking passion I hate it. This movie kept me confused up till the verrrryyyyyyyyy very very end. So I give them that, it keeps you on your toes. It's just the constant "What the hell is happening?" that I kept asking every five seconds drove me nuts. Lol I felt mind fucked. I don't like that feeling!!
As for the acting I enjoyed all of it except the "parents", the dad just I don't know... I wasn't a fan. But the mother's acting was really good. They all were minus the dad... unless he was supposed to be that way? Huh... Who knows! I really liked the main character though. Sucks he went through all of that.
The storyline itself was a new one for me. I didn't expect that or see that coming. Not going to lie though, I expected more OOMPH from this, but it didn't really give me that. Unless it did but my brain was to clouded with "What. The. Hell. Is. Happening?" lol
Would I recommend this? Yes. Would I say I personally liked it, no. But again that is because of how it made me feel. I'm pretty sure this would have been a easy 10 if my own head didn't get in the way. Haha

You're kidding me right?
If you are the kind of person that feels sick when they watch "shaky" movies/shows, pass this movie up. I wish I had known how shaky the camera was... would have saved me from the massive headache I'm rocking right now.If you get passed the shake and headache, the storyline seems pretty promising and interesting... for the most part.
But ... There are still way to many questions that need answers. I admit, I would have rated this a lot higher had it not ended the way it did. We find out what happened - sure. But we get no justice in it and honestly the ending left me completely disgusted and horrified. The fact people got away makes me sick to my stomach.
And also we never get answers for why Tang did what she did. I don't understand the ending. I wish it had explained the reason for that.
I think there is a lot more I want to touch on but I can't get the ending driver out of my head and it makes me want to vomit.
Other than all this, the "horror" part was pretty touch and go. It started out promising but by the middle, I started to speed the movie up... and by the end, it was at 2x speed. So the pace along with the shake, made it go down drastically.
Also kinda wish we knew who made the game and WHY. So yeah, there are a lot of questions I still have. lol

This movie gave bits and pieces of what could have been a badass story line..... buuuuut the execution was so awful. If there was a point to the movie, i clearly missed it. It was pretty much just action driven with forced random romance? If you can even call it romance.
If you don't like spiders, dodge this movie completely. I didn't understand the point of all of them, honestly. I felt like Ron from Harry Potter when he found out he was going to have to follow the spiders. Lol ugh it gives me the heebiejeebies.
None of this movie made clear sense to me. If anyone has a clue, I'm totally open to hearing theories or whatever will help shed light on this. Till then, it'll sit at 3 stars and that's just me being nice. I'd give it 1. Lol

I finished this show last night and thought sleeping would help me sort my thoughts... It did not.**Spoiler heavy, sorry**
While I like BL, this is honestly my first Thai BL, it was recommended to me.... and I'm not even mad. I mean I am, but I'm not. Lol I really ... just.... wow. Just wow.
This show will make you feel every emotion in nearly every episode and I feel like it's more like a rollercoaster than anything. Lol I really loved the chemistry between Korn and Knock (I now understand MaxTul ship) -- you can't fake that passion and you can't tell me otherwise! lol
But oh my gah .... Korn didn't deserve any of what happened to him. All he did was love his best friend and life really just went insane overnight for him. Pleng needed to be slapped to the ground.... and I mean to the actual ground. How the hell can you be such a trashy person? I get being angry over what happened, but setting everything up the way he did, and using other people ... she is no better. As much as I want to go on about this, I won't because I'll just get pissed all over again and there's other characters I need to go off on. Lol
Kavitra and Phubet -- what the actual fuck was that? From the get go she told him to stay away from her and his skeezy ass just kept going after her. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT "NO" AND "LEAVE ME ALONE" MEANS?! This is the perfect example of why women have to worry about men, honestly. Even the kiss scene they had, he really thought he accomplished something. She clearly didn't want that kiss and the fact he thought it was okay makes my skin crawl because of the shit eating grin he had. Why? Just why? You ever think maybe she let you because she was scared? Just throwing that out there. I fucking hated this "couple" -- what was the point of saying "no" THIS WHOLE SHOW and then saying yes at the end? Are you fucking kidding me? You're really fine throwing your teaching career away over some low life dude? Make it make sense.
Ohhhh but the couple that should have never fucking existed and made me want to chew glass and spit nails. Made me so damn sick to my stomach I just wanted to puke the whole time -- you know who I'm talking about, I know you do if you've watched this. Farm and Bright were a shit show. That man damaged that baby in so many ways. And yes, I call him baby. Fight me. I know he is grown but I get "protect little brother" vibes. Lol Bright is such a disgusting sick person from the start. The way he looks at and touches Farm makes my skin want to crawl off my body in disgust. Their "relationship ending" made me forget I was watching a show. I couldn't even think straight. When I tell you how mad I was, I don't even have the words. How do you take a sweet and innocent kid and do that to him on his birthday? WITH NO CONSENT EITHER!! Like it would be completely, and I mean COMPLETELY, different had from the start Bright was like "I'm not a 1 person guy. I want to see other people too". Would have been SSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO gosh damn different had on Farm's birthday he took him out like normal and been like "hey, I know it's your birthday but I really want to try something, let's talk about it". But nooooooo. Y'all, I can't unhear his "please stop" -- I'm about to cry ... scratch that, I'm crying now. That scene fucked me up and I can say it'll take a while to calm down from it.
Moving on, I love Yiwha. Yiwha has to be a Leo. Lol With how nosey and up front she is. She just screams Leo vibes. Hahah I really didn't like her at first because I thought she was just another snobby girl.. I mean she kinda is, don't get me wrong, but she grew on me later in the series. When everything was going wrong, seeing her step up and be like "oh hell no, no one messes with the people I love" -- I loved her and loved hard. Lol They are all lucky to have someone like her as a friend. I know her being nosey is messed up and she got information in a lot of terrible ways, but I'm glad that when she got "secrets" she never did tell anyone. Lol She just hated being out of the loop.... sooooo like a Leo. LOL!!!!!!!
I also adored Fai. She was a unique character to me and I feel like the show would be nothing without her. Also, why they kept her on the sidelines, I will never know. Every time she went on the field, she won the game for them. She should be out there all the time lol
Back to Knock and Korn though... Just for a second... the animalistic passionnnnnnnn OMGGGGGGGGG Just that look on Korn's face. Holy helllll I can't even. Ugh I'm going nuts now haha my brain is ready to explode. XD

I'm so confused. I actually have no idea how to review this movie because ... no thoughts. Just confusion.
I feel like this movie was supposed to be a part of a series and I missed the first 2 movies.
I feel like this movie was put out like a puzzle and it's up to you to put it all together with ZERO picture to go off of.
I feel like this movie was supposed to be in order but during edit, someone got tired and just dropped random moments together.
Had this movie made any sense to me, it would have been a EASY 10. I just have so many questions.
We were given so many characters and little to no background??
I don't know, it feels like a mess.
EDIT!!!!:
I plan on rewatching this ASAP because I found a different version with better(?) subs and hoping that it will shine a bit better light on everything! Because I really want this to make sense. lol
