I am still crying right now. It was really really sad. So many good people died. I knew An Zi Yi was going to die because they always kill off the cheerful characters. I cried so much when he died. Also the main lead’s separation and their longing for each other was really painful yet touching. I know some people might not like this sort of drama but I do. I always felt sorry for Chu Che, he had to see his loved ones being hurt. He was so close to Yi Luo yet so far from her. They deserved more happy times.
I actually really liked Luo Han Tong. He sincerely loved her even though his actions weren’t right but his death was too much as well. I never liked his brother but he was also really good to Yi Luo. Her acting was superb in my opinion. She was one of the characters who had a major change in their personality and she played her part well.
But overall it was a drama I would recommend to those who like watching costume dramas.

An amazing drama after a long time!!

I want to start off by saying that this is my personal opinion. I loved the drama very very much. Jiang Jun and Yuan Shuai’s acting was on point from the start till the end. Yuan Shuai was such a perfect male lead. I believe he did so so much for Jiang Jun. I liked that there were no break ups or major misunderstandings. It was simple, sweet, romantic and on point. The rest of the cast were also quite amazing. Su Chang made me laugh almost every time he appeared and so did LXC and XL. I liked that Xue Li took the initiative for her love and she was such a good friend to Jiang Jun.
One other thing I wanted to mention was the actors dress sense. I was screaming almost every minute of the drama.
I think the directors and producers did a great job.
Will miss this drama a lot and won’t forget it ever.

Most of the Thai dramas I have watched always have a very heavy plotline and too many evil characters. You Are My Heartbeat breaks this concept. Yes there are characters that are bad and you hate them but the fun and chaotic main couple overpower this evil. From the first episode they are fun to watch. The female lead's acting is so good and I love her expressions and ways of annoying the male lead. You'd think the male lead is vulnerable because of his disease but he is no less when it comes to annoying the female lead.
When Din finds out about his brother's love for Kanghan, I was glad that they didn't make him stay angry and fall out with his brother. Instead he was the one who put sense into the main couple and made them confess to each other. Even after that I loved Din's relationship with the two of them.
There is one thing that I have to say. In the beginning we always hate the evil characters so much and wish for the worse for them. However, at the end of the drama when they repent for their mistakes even we forgive them. That is one thing I love about dramas. The grandma was bad but we saw her ending. The other evil girl, Kansinee, was also the main evil but they never showed what happened to her. Honestly you end up hating her character so much, you want her to have a bad end and get what she deserves.
I love Push so I naturally I love ll his dramas but his character in this drama really made me fall in love with him even more. All in all, I have come to love this drama so very much and I miss is already.

Do you that feeling wen you have been waiting to watch a drama for so long and then you finally do watch it and it doesn't disappoint you?? The best feeling in the world.
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha actually was a very gentle and soft drama. I think these two words describe the drama perfectly. The male lead was so caring, never getting angry and so cute. It wasn't a cliché where the male lead was over-bearing and rich. his role was so down-to-earth. I am so glad that even in the end they didn't show him becoming rich or going back to his old life. It was a life lesson to be learnt.
The female lead's character was also great. At first I thought she wasn't so nice but I realised her character portrayed a realistic life. You don't always get along with everyone in life. She was honest and voiced her opinions bravely. She managed to become family with everyone else at least.
One thing that annoyed me was when the main leads became a couple, Yoon Hye Jin's character suddenly got a little cringe. Yes I get that people in love go all sweet and lovey-dovey but I found that her acting was too over the top.
Also, I didn't like the fact that she kept on forcing Chief Hong to open up to her. I get that they are together and must share everything but in my opinion, everyone has their own insecurities and secrets they don't wish to easily share. That's something they should have respected. Her telling him once or twice to open up was fine but then it got irritating when she literally forced him.
All-in-all, it was a great drama and one I will never forget. I totally loved it!

I remember starting this drama and getting hooked from the first episode. It is always nice to have a historical comedy series. I love it when they show the main girl as the master of her own life, specially in times like those, it is rare to see such brave and free-spirited characters. On the other hand, the male lead's calming posture, gentle character and warm personality makes the two of them a perfect match for each other. Although they encountered problems towards the end, there way of making it up to each other was sweet.
The Ban family are an example of what a family should be like. This family was probably one of the best elements in the drama. Never once in the whole drama did they blame Ban Hua for her behaviour. They supported her and I loved how everyone kept on saying that shouldn't family be like them. Oh, we cannot forget Rocky, Softy and Du Jiu!! I love seeing loyal people besides the main leads. Ban Heng was one funny person. Honestly, he did an amazing job as a brother and a friend.
I quiet liked Shi Jin as well, got the second male lead syndrome from the beginning because of him.
Jiang Luo and Ban Hua's little fights were hilarious. Even though he was always scheming against everyone, I still liked his character. He could have been a great prince and an even better king if not for his evil intentions.
They didn't really explain how Xie Chong Jin switched sides and what exactly happened to him. I mean he was the main source of evil so his ending should have been shown in detail.
In the beginning, the drama was very funny. Even the problems that occurred were solved in a funny way. However, during the middle of the drama till the very end, the comedy element wasn't there. Everything became to tensed and I think the point of the drama was taken away. They could have kept the funny element and still have managed to carry on with the exact same story line.
Overall, if you haven't watched this drama, I recommend you start it straight away.

I would like to start off by saying that just because I didn't give the drama a 10 does not mean it's not one of my favourites. I literally loved it so much but of course there are a few negatives I will mention.
The story starts very normally like any another campus-love story. I wasn't hooked into the drama until like episode 5. After that I ended up watching 12 episodes in one night! There was something about Li Xun that made me love the drama more and more. One thing I loved about the female lead was her complete devotion to the male lead. Zhu Yun does admit that Li Xun is stubborn and not the perfect human being but she says that she is willing to stay by his side no matter what. I know Li Xun left her for her own good but for the first time I felt that a female lead loved a male lead more instead of the other way round.
Even though Gao Jiang Hong was the main "bad guy", I still want to say that during their university times, the main leads actually didn't consider his feelings. I get Li Xun's personality was cold and distant but his way of dealing with things were wrong at sometimes. Also, Zhu Yun kind of used him to get even with Fang Zhi Jing. She made Li Xun join his project and basically take charge of Gao Jiang Hong's project. Of course, it goes without saying that whatever Gao Jiang Hong did wasn't justified at all since he purposely (and indirectly ) got Li Lan killed.
At first I didn't like that they made Gao Jiang Hong ill and got sympathy for him. However, after thinking about it, I realised either way, he would have repented and gave up. He wasn't completely evil so it is good they gave him a happy ending too.
The ending of the drama was so calming and normal (like real life).
I love that Zhu Yun was able to communicate with him so well regarding life together and having children. You could tell they grew up and had learnt so much from their mistakes.
Sometimes the reason we can never be satisfied of the ending is because we always want more of the drama, however with Lighter and Princess, I was fully satisfied.

I mostly write reviews about dramas that I love or those which have a high rating. However, I really wanted to write one on Why Her.
The drama has the female lead that everyone wants to see; strong and powerful. Throughout the drama, Oh Soo Jae suffers so much but she still returns to the law firm knowing that's her only weapon to become stronger. She wants to take over everything that Choi Tae Gook has. I thought at first he was good and treated her well but that didn't really last long.
When her told her she had a stillbirth, I believed it. Who knew Jae Yi was her daughter. Honestly killing her was one of the worst things they did in this drama. She saw her daughter die twice.
The male lead's role was also okay to some extent. I feel as though it was quiet empty. Gong Chan's sisters case was linked with all the bad characters but in the end they didn't show what punishment the three men got who kidnapped his sister. The male lead never actually confronted anyone who was related to his sister's death.
In the end, Choi Tae Gook kills himself instead of getting the punishment he deserves. I always feel as though this kind of ending for someone who was evil throughout the whole drama is just very wrong. They do not repent.
Overall, the drama was not really fascinating and interesting. I skipped a lot of scenes to see the ending which was also not very satisfying.

Let me start off by wiping my tears first...
I'll start from the beginning. We got a very dramatic start from this drama from episode 1. It's been quite some time that I watched a Korean drama which showed little details of every step and every scene like they did in Vincenzo. The mafia storyline was indeed different. I loved it!!!!
I liked the fact that they let Vincenzo's character commit murders. A lot people might think that it isn't right for the male lead to do so and specially the methods Vincenzo uses to get back at all the villains is something not shown in dramas today. However, as Cha Young says, you cannot deal with such monsters with justice. Specially if the government is corrupt. In my opinion, Vincenzo already gave all the evil characters a merciful ending. Handing them over to the police wouldn't have done anything.
I'm glad they didn't make Cha Young's character timid and shy. Just like the male lead, the female lead also had her own charm and her own mafia style ways of dealing with her stuff. She was on par with Vincenzo. For me, it doesn't matter that there wasn't a lot of romance in this drama because Vincenzo and Cha Young's partnership was everything. It's actually good they did not try to add too much romance and spoil the main purpose of the show.
Another good point was that all the characters from the plaza turned out to have hidden talents which made it all even more interesting. Nice too see them drama involving all characters equally.
I do feel as if the ending was a little rushed. From the last few episodes it looked that Mr Lee of the pawnshop would die but they totally turned the tables and killed Han Seo. So unexpected!! I am still shook at this. I know directors always kill these kind of characters in drama to make the audience even more emotional but in my opinion, Han Seo not dying would have been the best choice. Characters like him who have such developments in the drama deserve a happy ending. I feel as if there were too many things going on in the last episode that they didn't give focus to Han Seo's death.
Overall, the drama was very carefully planned out. There were so many parallel scenes as they call it. The court room episode in episode 5 and then the one in episode 19. The hospital scenes of the main leads and many more.
Like I always say, if a drama makes you genuinely cry, then it's a fantastic drama.

I know I'm very late in watching this drama but it's been on my list since it aired and I finally watched it. AND I LOVED IT!
It has a capturing start and without wasting time on background stories, the drama jumps right into the main plotline. It shows the imperfection of humans in such an amazing way. How greediness and selfishness comes to surface when you are put into such situations.
Yet the two main leads show us the true meaning of being selfless and living for others. The male lead is so gentle but good at his job ad the female lead show she cares about herself first but we find that she also puts herself last. Although mostly all of the residents are bad in one way or another, the main leads don't hold a grudge against them and help them and do their best for everyone until the end.
Even though this drama isn't focused on romance, I love the way main leads portray their love without any words. Also them being married makes everything ten times better in my opinion.
A lot of the scenes did have my at the edge of my seat. It wasn't exactly gory but it was enough to make you jump.
In the end I really thought that Yi Hyun died because I had not seen any spoilers thankfully. I couldn't have been any more happier for the happy ending.
One thing I really hoped to see was what happened to Han Tae Seok and his wife in the end. I understand showing the cure would stretch things too far but to see his ending would have been nice because I actually liked him.
Overall I enjoyed the drama and would recommend it 100%

Let me just start off by saying I finished 36 episodes in 2 days!!
From the start, it was so interesting and catchy. The concept may be similar to many other dramas but I still really liked it. The virtual Lu Xiao was so gentle and just PERFECT. So sweet!! Then the switch from the virtual character of his to him in real life was also well done. The female lead's acting was super. She was so funny. The two leads were so cute together.
The rest of the characters were also quite amazing. I think the actors did a great job. There were so many twists and turns. I had to stop the drama at some points and let my brain calm down with all the plot twists. I actually thought Xu Nian was bad..likee...!!!!!!! God!!
However, I think the ending was not so good. I mean for people, the virtual characters mean a lot to them and then suddenly they find out that the 4 men are real. It wouldn't be so easy to let go and just have a happy atmosphere. Instead of using the episodes on finding the evidence after they ran away, they could have shown more of their life after they revealed their real selves.
For evil people like the game maker, they deserve to see their stupid ideas go down the drain and suffer more. With simply ending their story isn't right in my opinion. I just wish they spent more time on the ending. Apart from this, everything else was great.

I thought this would be just a normal drama with a not so amazing storyline. But I have to say, it was so so amazing.
Firstly, the main lead's personality...I thought in the beginning he would be very cold and strict like male leads are in dramas like these. But to my surprise, Xing Ke Lei was so easy-going and funny. His expressions killed me every time. He was understanding, calm, lovable and caring. The female lead was also not portrayed as a weak person who needs the protection of the male lead all the time. She was brave and great in her own way. One thing I noticed that her dressing was to her own comfort and she didn't go out of her way to look beautiful for her boyfriend.
After the main leads get together, they have a lot awkward moments between them. That is how it is in real life. You are still getting used to each other and not everything is perfect and lovey-dovey. They had their chemistry though. They understand each other and respects each other's choices. They were too cute. One of my favourite things is when at the end Xing Ke Lei says that he cannot be hers only and cannot always put her first. They showed true feelings and realistic things in this drama.
As for the other characters, I liked Xing Ke Yao. She was just like her brother, funny and caring. I'm glad they didn't give us the evil sister-in-law. Also, Shao Yu Han's role was nice too. He was a good teacher who always had faith in his students. Straightforward and to the point.
There were some points that were not so good. For example, the mission the male lead was on whilst the female lead was isolating was rather confusing. It was just there to lead him to the Mi Ka and make us realise he cannot always be there for her. But it wasn't needed. Some time wasted on that. Some of the episodes dragged on a little.
Overall however, it was a truly great drama that I recommend to you.

Where to begin from?
This is the first time I am watching a drama that has Lee Dong Wook. I never really paid much attention to him before but after finishing Tail of the Nine-Tailed, I really have started to like him. His acting was superb. His funny moments and adorable habits had me hooked to the drama from the first episode. One of the main reasons I never got bored was because of Lee Yeon. His love for the female lead was so admirable. The other reasons were, Lee Rang and his scenes towards the end. I loved his scenes with that little kid. It was really upsetting that he died, especially after he started cherishing his life with Yoo Ri, Shin Joo and the kid. Shin Joo's loyalty was touching, like I've said before, such loyal characters are very rare nowadays in dramas.
The granny and her husband were a couple never failed to make me laugh as well!!! She was a little annoying at times but these type of characters are always good in dramas. Her poor Husband ;)
Now with the things I didn't really like were the fact that Ji Ah was just always talking about either dying or her parents and her childhood. I know they are the most precious people to her but I thought that Lee Yeon always felt bad that he wasn't able to find her parents for her. I just felt that her character was very whiny towards the end (my opinion only).
Also, a villain like Imoogi never has people hating him, we always end up liking such villains. Maybe for such a big story, he wasn't the best choice. I liked him from the beginning and was hoping till the end that he would turn good and get a happy ending but he never did :(
However, I really miss this drama already and wish it had many more episodes. Loved it overall!!!!!!
Do watch it...

Of course I had to watch this after The Legend of Yun Xi.
I did enjoy the drama. The male lead was really good to her from the start and always had eyes only on her. I was so glad for the fact that he never married someone else. I liked their casual confessions and their sweet relationship. Even though Xu Jin was a cold character, at the beginning there were many times where he was quiet playful. He wasn't completely serious.
Wu Bai Qi was also an amazing character. Its's always good to have someone like him by your side. To be honest I really liked Duke An as well. He did wrong but he just loved the female lead.
There were a lot of points they could have improved on (my opinion only).
The storyline between Wu Bai Qi and Fu Xuan should have developed more and they should have either got married or at the end their ending should have also been shown properly. It was like a sudden stop. I feel as though the last 6-7 episodes were quite rushed. I mean everyone went through a lot so we did deserve a more detailed ending.
Duke An's mothers secret was also out of nowhere. They could have introduced her earlier. I feel as many aspects of the drama were left half way.
Also the fact that I did cry means the drama was worth the watch and I have recommended the drama to many people already.

I actually don't know where to start from!! Stand by Me was totally my type of costume drama. I loved it from the beginning. The scenery, the martial arts and fighting, dressing and everything else was so beautiful. I would say the storyline was a little different in the sense that the male lead (Qi Yan) was portrayed as the evil king since the start. Personally, I thought that he was really evil but later as the story unfolds, we find out his reasons for everything that happened. Some people may disagree and say that he didn't deserve happiness because a sin is a sin but then he didn't get a happy ending so I guess that was his punishment. He promised peace to his kingdom and kept his word.
The female lead's character was also great. Straightforward and brave. I kind of knew her real identity from the beginning so I was thinking that she would take revenge against the male lead when she finds out he was the one behind her family's tragedy. However to my surprise nothing like that happened. She understood him, stood by him and helped him until the end. This was my first time watching a drama where the female lead doesn't hold a grudge against the male lead after knowing the truth.
At first I really didn't like Qiu YanZhi even though I knew who she was. However after she finds out that Cheng Ruo Yu is her sister, she changes so much. I love the love she had for her younger sister. It was a real heartbreak that Cheng Ruo Yu finds out the truth almost when her sister is about to die. I really wished she didn't die. I love that Qiu YanZhi said in her last moments that her wishes are all about her sister.
I expected a sad ending from the very start but I was still shocked the way they made the ending. I guess the only way for the male lead to make up for everything was his death.
It was a great drama overall so I recommend it to everyone.

To be honest I started season 2 only because I wanted to see their wedding. I knew it wasn't going to be as simple as I thought it would be. However, the drama started off with so so much comedy that I found myself watching one episode after another.
Both the main lead's personality stayed the same. There was a complete balance between their sweet, sad, funny and fluffy moments. In the beginning when the female lead was continuously chasing the male lead, I felt sorry and angry for her. However she lost her memory and became so unemotional, I was happy. Fang Leng finally understood what it was like to be rejected again and again and to be given the cold shoulder.
I know that even if Fang Leng didn't get his memories back, he loves Xiao Chi the same and even more but I kind of wish that instead of Xiao Chi just showing Fang Leng the memories, his memories of their past came back just like Xiao Chi's did because there will always be a small regret in my heart that he didn't remember their past.
The second main lead was just as funny and cute. Honestly they completed the remaining elements you need in a drama to make it good.
One thing I love the most about season 2 is that they didn't turn the second male lead into a total bad guy. They kept him until the end and showed that he was still part of their life. Shi Yi didn't even know himself how much he loved Xiao Chi and he did so much for her. He deserved the good ending he got.
I am actually so upset it's over now since we were all waiting for season 2 so eagerly. I loved My Girlfriend is an Alien 2.
